My husband and I visited Arizona recently for the first time and went to Pinnacle Peak for dinner and a show. Both dinner and the "Pistoleros Wild West Show" were great! The show was absolutely hilarious and the stunts were great! We definitely recommend this attraction!

The Pistoleros show is so much fun! It's such a treat to have something like this centrally-located in Tucson. Trail Dust town is one of our favorite places to visit and the Pistoleros show is always a memorable treat (we've gone about once a year for the past three years.) This is a great event to bring out of town guests to or just enjoy on a random weekend evening.

Corny and cliche but surprisingly fun! A great place to take out-of-towners, but also a surprisingly fun date nite for locals. The actors are great and I love that the show has been family owned and operated for 30+ years. With their stunts, cheesy laughs and a fair amount of pyrotechnics and water splashes, this show is better than any I've seen in more traditional cowboy shootout shows (including those in Tombstone). read more

Amazing show and hilarious cast! Great for all ages! Has a splash zone in one section for those who want to get a little wet. I've been watching their shows for over a decade and love it every time! Seriously. Most entertaining 30 minutes I've seen this year. And it's the week after the Superbowl. Not for the faint of heart. Or the easily offended. Get there early for a good seat, stage left center is best. And bring cash. Tipping might keep you from getting shot. Or worse. Just because it says here than I'm giving the show 5 stars, in truth, I would give them six. They know why. read more

Brought some out of town guests for the show. We all loved the cheesy humor, creepy old west set for Halloween, and pretty amazing stunts! We all had smiles and hurt cheeks and tummy's from laughing. For those with sensitive ears, consider ear plugs. read more

This is one of Tucson's great activities and a fantastic value. The shows are expertly done by professional stunt performers and actors. They are funny, loud, and perfect family entertainment. My grandparents from Missouri were in town so I suggested dinner and a show since my boys love the "cowboy show" as they call it. We have been here many times before and its always a good time. We had family visiting from out of state, and they wanted to experience a Wild West show. After a quick online search, we discovered the Pistoleros show, and I'm so glad we did. From start to finish, we were absolutely captivated by the incredible stunts performed by the Woods family. The special effects had us jumping out of our seats. My 15-year-old nephew even declared it the best Western show he's ever seen, and I couldn't agree more. It was a memorable experience for our whole family--highly recommended for anyone looking for entertainment! read more

WOW!!!! What an amazing show they put on there!!! I have seen several shows along these lines, and I can say without a doubt, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest!!! The stunts, gunfights and pyrotechnics are out of this world!!! I highly recommend anybody living or coming to Tucson to take in this show!!!! We're an action-packed Wild West Stunt Show featuring high-impact stunts, explosion effects, gunfights, cowboy-style fist fights and hilarious comedy on our authentic Old West set on the wild side of Trail Dust Town. The Pistoleros Stunt Show can be seen Friday through Sunday at 7:00 and 8:00 PM (closed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas day), with a special discount night show at 7:00 PM on Thursdays! The show runs 30 minutes and provides bleacher seating. This is an outdoor show, and subject to weather permitting. Loud noises may frighten small children. Admission ranges from $8.50-$15 depending on the season. Discounts available when ordering online. Tickets can be purchased online at our website.

History

Established in 1997.

In 1997, the Pistoleros, originally called the "Dragoon Street Players" on Dragoon Street, performed their first show, "Killer Miller". Starring present day Pistolero, Jerry Woods, the show grew to include Hollywood style stunts, impressive special effects, and top-notch actors and writers. In 2009, the show changed its name to "The Pinnacle Peak Pistoleros" in honor of their benefactor, Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse. In May 2020, due to the financial hardships endured during the Coronavirus crisis, Trail Dust Town cancelled the show permanently. The Woods family, with gracious support from their fans, and Trail Dust Town, started their own business to keep the shows going! With a much smaller crew, budget, and income, "The Pistoleros Wild West Show" was born. The mission remains the same. To provide high-quality, action-packed, wholesome entertainment that keeps the spirit of the old west alive for the delight of all ages!

Meet the Business Owner: Jerry W.

With years of stunt experience under his belt, and a love for the Old West, Jerry started the show in1997 under the ownership of Trail Dust Town. In 2020 due to the financial losses from CoViD, the show was cancelled permanently. Jerry, who had run the show for 23 years with the help of his wife, Heather, and son, Noah, wasn't ready to let the show go. So, he started his own company, adding "Business Owner" to his current title of "Artistic Director" of the Pistoleros Wild West Show. Jerry also continues to perform in the show every weekend, as well as holding down a full-time job as an electrician. With the help of his family and crew, Jerry hopes to continue providing Tucson with the joy and thrills that the stunt show brings to audiences of all ages.

I wish they did more…read morequality control and walk throughs so that they can catch these people being obnoxious and shut it down so that everyone else can enjoy their time. You can shush these people all you want but they really don't care and honestly should be removed from the theatre if they can't control themselves.

We've been going to The Pistoleros regularly, and it's become one of our favorite things to do as a family. It's a locally owned stunt show, and you can feel the heart they put into it every time. My 4-year-old son has a season pass, and he absolutely loves it. The shows are fun, interactive, and just the right mix of action and humor to keep kids engaged while still being entertaining for adults. It's one of those rare spots where you're not just watching--you're part of the experience. What stands out the most is how consistent they are. We've been multiple times, and it never feels repetitive. The performers are great with the kids, and you can tell they genuinely care about creating a good experience for families. If you're looking for something different to do with your kids--especially if you want something local and not overly commercial--this is it. We'll definitely keep coming back and supporting them. read more

Flavor of the wild west all in jest. This is a great show. The performers were funny, excellent stunt actors, and literally put their livelihoods on the line each show. It's a pleasant spoof of the old west; great for the whole family. Expect some loud noises as you might expect from gun fights and safe cracking. read more

I didn't really know what to expect, but I had a great time. I will definitely bring my extended family back here and any friends that visit. Action, comedy, explosions, cowboy and cowgirl fights, stunts.... it's got it all. great fun. make this a priority event to see. read more

This show was amazing! Both the humor and stunts were great! The show I watched only had 3 actors and I thought it was crazy how good it was with so little people. 10/10 would definitely recommend, fun for all ages! read more
