Worth a try, Glen Burnie! There's a lot of options for quick hibachi in the DMV, but this place impressed us and is set apart. They have the experience to make a really delicious meal, and it seems they care deeply about serving up a good product. The owners were hospitable and friendly and we are praying for the success of their new endeavor. There are three main offerings and we tried them all. The bento / hibachi and combos were offered in chicken, beef, shrimp, salmon, and any combo you'd like. Tofu, too, if that cooks your noodle. Then, there's the wings. Crispy, large, and coated generously in sauce, we tried the honey bbq and will definitely come back for the wings! Lastly, they offer a decent size selection of boba tea at reasonable prices. They were a little on the sweet side for me, but my kids loved them and will gladly seize the opportunity to bounce off the walls, lol. The seating inside is limited but there's enough for four to five families to sit and eat. We took advantage of that on a Sunday after church. We'll certainly come back and enjoy another meal soon. If we lived closer, we'd probably also take advantage of their presence on Door Dash, too.

This is a great new fast-casual spot for Japanese hibachi, similar to Sarku but with its own unique touch. I ordered the chicken and shrimp with vegetables and white rice, and everything was cooked to order--fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The owner personally took my order and was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. They also offer chicken wings with a variety of flavors, which I'm definitely interested in trying on my next visit. For drinks, they have a wide selection, including custom-made smoothies, milk teas, boba teas, as well as fountain and bottled options. Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick, tasty meal, and I'm looking forward to coming back again.

A very similar setup to Quickway or Sarku Japan. I was craving some hibachi and saw this was a new restaurant that opened up nearby. I enjoyed the hibachi chicken (not overly saucy). If there was one thing I have to say stood out it was the shrimp tempura. Ultra crunchy and exactly what you'd want from a fried food! My only critique is I wish there was a bit more protein (there was plenty of rice) but definitely will be adding this to one of my local favorites for a quick meal when I don't want to cook.

Flame just opened last week, so first time visiting. Was a bit skeptical on how quality would be given the ambiance when you walk in, however food quality and amount was really great. I got the chicken and beef bento box with fried rice, and it was incredible.

These hibachi chefs are definitely highly trained and know what they are doing when it comes to the grill and kitchen utensils. To start off, we were given a salad with a delicious ginger dressing. They also gave us a complimentary miso mushroom soup, which was much needed considering how cold the restaurant was. I had the Filet Mignon & Scallops ($39.95) and it was excellent. I asked for medium rare, and he delivered. The filet mignon was so tender and juicy - definitely worth it! The scallops were big and caramelized to perfection and seasoned perfectly. The fried rice, in my opinion, was a bit on the saltier side. They offer a side of yum yum sauce and ginger sauce as well to pair with your entree. All entrees also come with a choice of chicken livers, sauteed mushrooms, or two pieces of shrimp. The ribeye steak had great marbling, so even a plus on the quality of protein. In terms of the service, the servers did not seem attentive. In my party of 5, most of our glasses of water needed a refill, and they passed by many times without noticing. Other than that, I think it was a great experience!

Shoyou seemed to have good reviews so we walked in without reservations. Looking at the menu we thought oh the three of us can easily demolish 2 regular maki rolls and maybe 3 special rolls. Nope. We had so much leftovers! And everything tasted so good! Its aptly priced. If you are getting a special roll it will be at least 4 to 8 pieces depending on what you get. My favorite of the special rolls was actually the spider roll which was made with softshell crab(and not pictured as it was promptly devoured) Would recommend if you're in the Baltimore area and want to support a local restaurant in a nice neighborhood. Don't fall for Azumi hype when places like this exist.

I also noticed they did the same for other tables, which really shows how much they care about the experience. I ordered four pieces in order from left to right: the maguro, albacore, sea bream, and toro. The maguro truly melted in my mouth. The albacore was delicious with a surprisingly generous portion. The sea bream was probably my least favorite of the lineup but still very good. The toro was easily my personal favorite, and I could have eaten 100 of those. Each order comes with two pieces which made trying different options even better. I also got the baked mussels and wowowowow they were so good. I genuinely wanted to order another round but I was already full. This is the closest spot I have found to an omakase style experience without actually doing a full omakase. It has more flavor, great presentation, and a little extra dazzle instead of just plain fish on rice. The only downside was that parking was a bit tough, but it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the meal. Highly recommend!
