Shrimp & beef teriyaki with two included sides (fried rice & lo mein) ~ $9.50
    Narcis D.

Great teriyaki restaurant! The sauce is amazing, the beef is tender, and the shrimp is great. Both the fried rice and lo mein were also tasty. 4/5 because of portion size. Order chicken if you prefer more since they will give you smaller portions if ordering shrimp.

This place has amazing food with great flavor. They are very generous with their portions so what you pay for is what you get!

This used to be one of my favorite places, it was good and cheap. Now they have watered down the sauce and raised their prices like crazy.

The interior looks clean, bright and minimalist, a perfect combination. Our orders: Appetizer: Pork Bun, the pork is juicy and deliciously flavored. Tonkutsu Ramen, the broth is rich and creamy perfection, a non spicy one. Black Tonkutsu Ramen, this is the star item where you can taste the garlic kick in the broth. Love it! Spicy Miso Ramen, is the most favorite menu here and for us too! The spicy level is at perfection level that's not too strong. All ramen are served with generously served with chasu and veggies, the eggs are perfectly cooked. This ramen place is very recommended if you're looking for something that taste delicious consistently. What amazes us was the noodle maker space is setup facing dining area where we can enjoy the noodle making process while enjoying the food. After a decade of loyal patronage, our love affair with Kyoto is officially over. This review is a…read morelong time coming. For a local spot charging a steep $80 for a two-person takeout order in 2026, the absolute bare minimum they could do is get the order right. There is a reason Kyoto no longer lists their prices online--they continue to hike them exponentially every year. But while the prices skyrocket, the service has completely tanked. They consistently screw up carry-out orders, even after reading them back to you over the phone. Our experience last Friday night was the final straw: *The Roll Mistake: They forgot our Spicy Girl Roll and charged us for a basic spicy tuna instead. When we asked them to fix it, it took 45 minutes and they tried to charge us full price for their error. They eventually knocked off a measly $8, but it absolutely should have been comped. *The Gyoza Mix-up: We got home to find the gyoza we specifically ordered steamed was fried. *Zero Management: When I called to complain, the high schooler on the phone informed me that no manager was even on duty--on a busy Friday night. If you're going to charge premium prices, you need to deliver accurate service. Kyoto has completely lost its way, and they have lost a decade-long customer. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects your patronage.

Also ordered skewers that were left over from lunch with sauce over part of it. Inedible. They left a meal off our order, but did deliver it when I called them. Ordered the Poke bowl and grabbed a Taro Milk drink prepackaged without ice and while waiting the menu called me to sit and enjoy an imperial roll and y'all that thang was everything, banging. . Flavor was everything. Gave me a moment to slow down on travel for a moment. I haven't eaten the Poke bowl yet, my original plans have changed and it will now go to Detroit, maybe I still have an hour. The service was right on point. The waiter stopped multiple times and got a kick out of my wasabi response. The place is clean and trendy too. Thank me personally if you discover tastebud heaven in BWI concourse A at Gachi House

Yelp Review 2026 #185:…read more I normally wouldn't trust airport sushi unless I'm in Japan. But I really wanted sushi after eating all sorts of Jamaican food during my vacation. BWI has two Gachi locations: one near B5, and one near A8. This one is near A8. After a terrible experience at another airport restaurant, I decided to grab food from here. At first, I wasn't sure if I went to the sit down restaurant or the grab and go. Both locations have tables and chairs and near other eateries. They both have grab and go food. So, at first, I grabbed two trays of sushi. As I was about to pay, I noticed a menu in front of the cashier so, I had to ask if they had actual fresh made-to-order sushi. And they did and I was told to grab a table and somebody will take my order. I put the sushi trays back. There's only one server and she was hiding behind the sushi counter. She seemed really shy. I waited patiently for her to take my order, give me water, etc. I only had 40 minutes left on my 2-hour layover and I still had to make it to the B gates to board. Sake Oshi Sushi: Pressed sushi with torched salmon, miso sauce, sushi rice, pickled ginger, jalapeno, and tempura crunch. The layer of rice is too thick. I had to eat the fish on top and skip the rice on a few pieces because it was just too much. This was on the sweet side and I'm not a fan of sweet sushi. The jalapeño slices still had seeds. 2.5/5 Salmon Nigiri: The quality of the fish was surprisingly good. The rice was compact and stayed intact. It was time to pay and the server was nowhere to be found and I had to leave. So, I just paid at the counter.
