Called one time, answered after the first ring, and with no hesitation, offered to deliver our stork within 24 hours. FINALLY! Update** Rocky did call me, almost a year later. I did email him and tell him there is nothing he can do. The money is spent and the surprise ruined. I was advised between a certain time so, if weather conditions may be an issue, then that should be stated. Now, had the sign said 50, what I ordered, and not 60.....this wouldn't be an issue. Therefore, the surprise was ruined and pointless. Yes, Yelp is garbage and I do go under a false first name for security reasons. My last initial is correct. I am a business owner and, as a owner of a successful business for over 25 years, owners should be on top of online reviews on every site. I left the review to get someone to call me back, to no avail. There is absolutely nothing that can be done for me a year later as I can't give back a 50th birthday. I had a great experience with Flamingos Surprise in Bensenville. I wanted to give my 18 year old daughter an extra special birthday because she's not having a "normal" graduation, prom or all the seniors activities at school. Even though, he's made peace with it. I know she's a little sad. Everything I had plan like a big yard sign with happy birthday and her name which I ordered about a month ago, it hasn't been shipped yet. A sign with her picture dressed as drum major that we needed to take a picture with her cap and gown to submit to the school on the very same day of her birthday and by the way, it's be her graduation day. So Everything seemed going down the drain with the plans for a extra special day for my youngest daughter. On Friday, May 22nd I started calling companies for a display sign and all of them were busy or closed for the day. I came across Flamingos Surprise.com and for my surprise the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and when I heard, they're able to have the flamingos surprise before noon the next day. I was more than excited. I really appreciate them for being available and helpful and for excelling in customer service skills. The guys was very kind and nice. That's true...Instead of a card, say it in the yard!!! I placed an order for a stork for my sister's baby. It's a beautiful, colorful 7' tall stork that has a bundle with the baby's name, weight and height on it which you get to keep. How cool is that! When I placed the order, they reassured me that the stork will be delivered between midnight and six in the morning. And so that happened. They help you pick out the right display you need and prices are reasonable. My sister was very surprised; she couldn't believe that the drivers didn't wake up her dog. How nice it is to wake up in the morning and have a surprise like that??? read more
