The representative on the phone understood my frustration because I had taken PTO to do this project today. He then offered to bring me two 15 yard dumpsters which equals 30 yards instead of the 20 yard I ordered to make up for it. It was a fair offer in theory had they have been able to execute on their promise. At 1 o'clock, I still didn't have any dumpsters in my driveway had lost the entire day I had taken for PTO. I then called back to explain my frustration that now to do the project I have to take a second day of PTO since I wasted this one. I was told the gentleman was on the way to the dump to dump out one dumpster so they would have both of the 15s to bring me. It became a parent at that point that they're never likely was a dumpster available today. They just didn't have one and didn't wanna lose the job so made a promise to me that they could execute when they knew they couldn't. I received absolutely zero empathy for the second PTO day request, and then the gentleman on the phone started to become argumentative. I highly recommend you hire anyone but this company because they are unreliable and do not do what they say they can do. If you're relying on the affordable waste solutions to do their part to meet a project schedule or deadline whether you're in Construction or a home repair project it won't be with this company as they just feed you mistruths while they juggle their equipment to not lose out on a job. My recent experiences have been the complete opposite of what I once respected about this business. After returning back to Florida, permanently this time .... with a bag full of dresses that needed to be dry cleaned I was required to prepay due to an incident from over five years ago when I unintentionally forgot to pick up clothing before my return back to CA. . I understand policies around unclaimed items and take responsibility for that. What I do not accept is the way this was handled. I brought my clothes in multiple times after that, and every single visit carried the same unmistakable sense that I was not welcome. There was no effort to reset the relationship, no basic courtesy, and no professionalism in how a returning customer was treated. This was not a one time interaction. It was repeated behavior over multiple visits. People do forget items at cleaners. It happens. Most businesses address it, set their policy, and move on. Here, it felt punitive and personal, which is not how a professional business should operate.
