We attended a wedding which was fun! But the real fun started when Flashpants came on! Omg, they are hilarious! They had us all laughing and signing. The singer has a great voice and the band has real talent. They all did! But they were hilarious at the same time. Between their outfits which consisted of short red gym shorts, a red tank, and long athletic socks with red stripes, they just owned the party! Their synced dance moves, random leg kicks, shake weights and other antics, we were laughing so hard we cried! They make for a great party addition and will make you the star amongst your friends. 7 years ago ...this would've been 5 stars, but after seeing them for 7 straight years and more than 10 times...it's the SAME SHOW. Same songs, same dances, same ORDER of songs and dances! PLENTY of 80's songs and other raunchy audience interaction things to do guys. So for me and my group, It's not AS fun as before. I first became acquainted with FlashPants at the Long Beach Movies on the Beach. They performed before the screening of 16 Candles and they were a hoot! They serve up all your 80s favorites with a side of raunch and irreverent humor--right up my alley. I found out afterwards that they play at local clubs all over, and when I learned of a gig coming up at the New Wave Bar in Bellflower, I knew I had to gather my friends for a night of 80s nostalgia. It was a good opportunity to check out the New Wave Bar as well--something my friends and I've been wanting to do for a long time. They were just as much high-energy goofy fun as on the beach, but since this was an adults-only setting, the proceedings were a little raunchier, which was fine with me. Apparently every 40-something in the area was having his/her bday celebration here, which made for a fun Shake Weight Shake-Off competition on the stage, lol. I also love their "fashion auction" method of selling their unique swag, which consists of various thrift store t-shirts/jackets/life jacket/ski bib emblazoned with their logo. I got a t-shirt for a friend for his birthday and I know he'll treasure it forever. So yes, if you love the 80s and general silliness this is the band for you. They'll make you sing and dance your ass off, which is a MUCH better workout than sitting at home with your Shake Weight. read more

Really REALLY fun band to see!!! They sing a ton of 80's stuff and completely have a great time, as do the people in the crowd. They are dressed in totally tubular 80's era digs and smooth-n-sexy 'staches. Everyone in the house gets a mustache too, plus a "selfy picture" with them to tag yourself on Facebook. Clever little extras like that make them unique and crazy fun. I was one of the lucky ones to sit on stage with my friends after one of us won the Shake Weight contest....we got treated to bubbly poured from the groin area and were fed gummy sour worms like baby birds. Phenomenal. I initially came across Flashpants from a random internet search. I had never heard of them or seen them perform but knew I wanted to do something fun and memorable for a joint party I was having with my wife. I read reviews, watched some online videos and decided to hire them for our party. Prior to the party, they were simple to work with and very responsive to all our questions. Still going into the party, I was a bit apprehensive because I had never seen them perform and wasn't quite sure what we were in for. I meant to write this review a while ago, but just getting around to it. FlashPants performed at our wedding and just absolutely crushed it. As many compliments as we received for how beautiful my wife looked or how much fun people had, we had the same number, if not more, praise for FlashPants. They were incredible in every way, shape and form. And I've heard from numerous guests who have gone to see them perform since our wedding and planned to look into them for their own weddings/events. One of the more underrated aspects of how great they were is how they calmed me down. We got married in June and I wanted to work on details with them back in Feb. But they told me they've done this a million times before and that it shouldn't be on my mind until late May or early June. So I put it off and touched base with them then. They knew exactly what to do, when to do it and how to do it in order to maximize the enjoyment of the wedding. Another thing is I asked them to dress nicer during their performance and they were totally open to it. They also showed up the night before, which was a huge relief. Our photographer was late to the wedding because he decided to drive up that day. Really screwed us. No such issues with FlashPants! People were just blown away. They played the best songs, were super engaged with our guests and got everyone out on the dance floor. They really made the wedding, no doubt about it. If you're on the fence about them, do it. You won't regret it. Very worth it. And Joey, our singer, if you read this, you're the man! read more

I've had the opportunity to see this band twice so far. Last year in March on my birthday at Panama Joe's in Long Beach and last weekend at Schooner or Later in Sunset Beach. I grew up in the 80s and love the music. These guys bring it with their costumes, singing, their energy & interaction with the crowd. They are super talented & legit. One word: AMAZING!!! We hired FlashPants for our wedding....If you want your guests to be raving about your wedding months after, you gotta hire these guys!! Joey was THE BOMB. He was so incredibly professional and kept us on schedule the whole time. We actually have a tendency to run late in general, but somehow Joey was able to make sure everything was on time! We had no idea how he did that haha His many years of experience DJ-ing and MC-ing at weddings really paid off! Our guests LOVED the band!!! Graysen - who created FlashPants - is a genius! During our cocktail hour, JazzPants played beautiful background music while our guests enjoyed the ocean view... truly classy! Then FlashPants got the party started... even our older aunts and uncles were on the floor dancing!!! These guys got the party started! My brother in law hired them for his 40th birthday at Old World. They were so much fun and very entertaining. Got people out of their seats and up dancing on the dancefloor. Interactive with the guests by going around to the crowd singing in their faces with tons of energy (but respective of space)!
