The Rose House has a very unique program to help uncover and work out the trauma and personal issues that I had that contributed to my drug abuse. The Rose House is a very comfortable and welcoming house. It is a judgement free zone, and I always felt comfortable talking about my front weather it was in group or individual therapy sessions. Being a patient, it is hard to do multiple groups all day every day. The Rose House breaks up the schedule so it doesn't feel so long. Every morning we get to leave the house to go to the gym, and every evening we attend a twelve step meeting. These outing are fun, and help us deal with our triggers in a safe environment. The Rose House advocated for me by writing weekly emails about my progress to my probation officer. The staff genuinely cares about each and every woman in the program. He refused to give me employees name so I could not proprely complain about the insensitive behavior. He obviously doesn't care himself, he didn't adequately address or explain the callous behavior. My symptoms were severe anxiety from trying to get off progesterone (I'm a sensitive snowflake). My blood pressure was sky high and my regular doctor didn't know what else to do for me, so she suggested neurofeedback. My anxiety was so severe I was crawling out of my skin. I felt like I was going to explode. I had seen a friend a few days earlier that looked amazing- she had healed from her bout of anxiety after getting off her meds and she recommended Robert, so I scheduled with him. When I first started treatment, I went twice a week because my nervous system was highly activated (it was an emergency situation). I started feeling much better in the second week!
