Refusing to hem my dress and I insisted it needed to be done as I have children and I don't want to trip. Then the other dress also needed a hem. I spoke with them in the am and said dresses would be ready later in day but no time. We went at 3pm and only one dress was almost done. But thr other wasn't. I tried on my dress and it was ok. He said he would press them and deliver. Upon delivery I paid him in full. When I opened the bag it was 10000% not pressed and then the other dress the hem was insanely uneven!!! I had tot take one to the cleaners this AM and they pointed out so m ay issues and then the other we are taking to another tailor to fix! And he said easy work but charged an insane amount of money!!!!

My dress had arrived late (I ordered from a different place) - 6 weeks before my wedding but Susan was able to fit me in her schedule and get started on alterations right away. My dress was strapless but I felt the need to have my shoulders covered in church and she was able to add sleeves made from tulle that were removable! These straps made my dress feel complete, and I was so happy to have something unique about my dress. My bustle was GORGEOUS she had included I believe 7 bustle buttons - and my very layered Cinderella-like dress stayed up in the bustle the ENTIRE night! (Ever been to a wedding where the bride holds her dress because the bustle fell?) My mother's dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding (again, from a different shop) and Susan made sure she was able to fit my mom in as well. Turned out that the dress the other shop had ordered was way too small for my mom - and 5 days before the wedding my mom decided to can it. Mom couldn't even sit in the dress!! Luckily - Susan had a dress available in her shop that fit my mother perfectly!! She was able to make some small adjustments that night and 3 days before my wedding my mother FINALLY had a dress! I honestly do not know what we would have done if we hadn't gone to Susan for alterations. She is clearly knowledgeable about gown alterations - and creative! She was able to quickly find a solution to a huge problem for us. I am so grateful for this and I have been back to her shop many times since. I've had 2 other dresses for other weddings altered since and Susan hasn't let me down! I also love her shop, it's very cute and unique and she has a lot of great wedding purses and jewelry to shop for!

It was impossible to find and while there were very similar dresses out there they all missed the mark on 1 or 2 key design elements. Susan and I scoured the internet, we watched clips of the film to see how the dress moved. Looked at dozens of pictures to make sure we were getting the subtle details right. Not only did she do her research she found the dress she would use as the foundation and the material to make my dress at TJ Maxx and saved me hundreds of dollars. Susan absolutely nailed it. I walked in completely clueless on a whim, tactlessly not making an appointment, and even though it was Juan's lunchbreak he still immediately took the time to see me and work with me. That said... let the man eat. Don't interrupt his break! I still feel bad about it!!! About the tailoring: Juan is just That Dude. He WILL make you look better and point out ways to make the clothes better compliment your body that others don't even know about. The pricing felt extremely fair and not at all like I was being overcharged for the amount and quality of work being done. Not only that, Juan did me a solid by getting the alterations done in-time with a big move out of state. Last minute, off of a random walk-in, and brother still treated me like I was a long time regular. And matter of fact, even though I'm going to be living down south I WILL still be getting my nicest clothing tailored by Juan. That's what his work is worth to me. 10/10 will be making sure I get my nephews' first suits tailored by him too

Anybody can sew a hem. I needed someone competent, professional, with tailoring knowledge, for the holidays. I brought them a pleated skirt, patent leather belt, and red rabbit/goat sweater nothing of the ordinary. I still have a leather jacket and dress which I will post pics at a later time. We drop off at the front desk, they pick up on specific days and bring it back on specific days. Pricing-wise, they are much more affordable than most. I wish there was an app where one could easily let them know what needs to be done, or tell them if you need something hemmed or fixed, but that is wishful thinking I guess. Their cleaning is pretty good, not the best I have seen, but certainly the best for their price point. I will be using them moving forward.
