I told the employees I don't smoke cannabis or even vape. The employee insisted and joked about it. And persisted that I sit in the back because he was going to smoke weed. At a rest stop before getting to our location and before he could actually smoke the weed, I reported it to Steven, the manager, who insisted that it is going to become legal soon in the state of Delaware, where recreational cannabis without limitation is legal. But insisted his drivers were not going to smoke weed. They told me they were, so I told him what they said. he spinned a little bit and went around the question and tried to questioned whether i wanted the job or not, some shit out of training day. When I tried to explain to him more that I did not want to ride with the weed smokers, he drove off and left me there with them. I told them I was not getting in, I walked back to the job, picked up my bike, and quit. Don't need a low-standard employer who does not screen their employees for criminal activity or excessive recreational drug use. I'm better than that.

They are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both hospitality and preserving the history of this place. What we received was lazy communication and terrible customer service. Nina is the employee to steer clear of. She alibied her piss poor responsiveness by saying the Eastern Shore culture just moved at a very slow pace. It took three attempts to receive an error-free contract. We had questions about the photographer that went unanswered for weeks. After nearly a month of trying to lock in our dates and address some of the finer details we received an email from Nina suggesting that we seek out another photographer or another venue altogether if they weren't moving fast enough for us. We did just that, refusing to beg anyone to take our money. Then today, three months later, we received an email from Nina asking us if we'd like to proceed. I responded to her email telling her we made other arrangements and that I'd be leaving feedback online about our experience with her.
