How does one prepare chicken and it's not cooked thoroughly? That's a surefire way to give people food poisoning. There were 6 guest at my table and 4 of us had to send our plates back because the chicken was undercooked and that is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Do yourself and your clients a favor...COOK YOUR FOOD THOROUGHLY...nobody want to come to an event and discover their food isn't cooked all the way. The potatoes and veggies that accompanied the meat were fine, but you cannot serve people uncooked food...that's a NO NO! Also...when you send a bartender...please be sure he has all type of juices to mix drinks. I've never been to an event and asked for a vodka and cranberry only to be told "we don't have cranberry juice." I am saddened my friend spent money to have a lot of her guest not eat their meat because it wasn't cooked all the way, but hey you live and learn and we learned to bypass Charm City Catering and try someone else.

We stayed in Marley's Cottage and it was incredible. The red door entrance from our parking space felt like stepping into a secret hideaway. Inside we had a fireplace, a tub on the screened back patio, and a porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It was private, quiet, and felt like our own little world. Breakfast in the Manor House was outstanding with fresh eggs from their own chickens, and the daily afternoon tea became one of our favorite parts of the day. We met other guests, enjoyed fresh pastries, and had great conversations with the owners, Dave and Hilari. They are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both hospitality and preserving the history of this place. Talking with them about Brampton's story and their vision was a highlight of our stay. Definitely try their Steampot dinner! It's loaded with fresh local seafood and felt like a true taste of the Eastern Shore. The property itself is beautiful to walk with gardens, meadows, and wildlife everywhere. We were trying to solidify the plan in April/May for a mid-October elopement along with a several night stay in one of the cottages. What we received was lazy communication and terrible customer service. Nina is the employee to steer clear of. She alibied her piss poor responsiveness by saying the Eastern Shore culture just moved at a very slow pace. It took three attempts to receive an error-free contract. We had questions about the photographer that went unanswered for weeks. After nearly a month of trying to lock in our dates and address some of the finer details we received an email from Nina suggesting that we seek out another photographer or another venue altogether if they weren't moving fast enough for us. We did just that, refusing to beg anyone to take our money. Then today, three months later, we received an email from Nina asking us if we'd like to proceed. I responded to her email telling her we made other arrangements and that I'd be leaving feedback online about our experience with her. Attention David and Hillary Rinehart (owners), Nina is poorly representing your establishment and costing you money and your reputation.

Working with Julie ahead of the wedding was great, and she even brought us over a taste of the food that they ultimately made for us, months later. She was great to work with, and allowed us to work with her, iterating on the menus for weeks. Julie helped us pick out what kinds of chairs and linens we would need, guiding us through all sorts of options. She ended up coordinating the rentals with the tent company on our behalf, as she usually does; it was great to have one fewer vendor to worry about. The servers were all fun and courteous, and basically everything was delicious and went off without a hitch!

They even set up a day early to avoid the rain in the forecast and their setup had a rain gutter system just in case. Lighting was great and the heaters kept us warm even with an open setup. Super quick setup and break down and by far the best pricing we found. Highly recommend!

Throughout the planning process we worked with Michele who was extremely accommodating as due to COVID, our plans changed multiple times throughout. As we neared the day of the event, Michele had the foresight to check the weather and suggest a heater, as the evening temperatures would be getting chilly. The day before the wedding, employees of Eastern Shore were onsite early and setting up. All were very polite, accommodating and professional. Everything we ordered was present, all plates, etc. placed in the kitchen facilities, linens pressed and covered on hangers and tables arranged according to the predesigned set up. Adam and Michele take great pride in their business and are extremely attentive. Do check if Jonathan Mason is the sub contractor providing the bathroom trailer. The trailer was not in working order, and while Michele and Adam's responses were immediate and professional, that of the subcontractors were definitely not.
