This is a difficult review to write, because Dr. Rahim is one of the best doctors I have ever seen…read more Back when she worked with Hawthorne Medical, prior to being a part of the vast "Piedmont" system, I could usually get a "sick" visit within a day or two. No more. Now, she rarely does anything other than well care visits. I don't know about other folks, but I don't just need a doctor when I am healthy. Being able to see "my" doctor when I am sick is important to me. So, in short, if you want to see the very best doctor when you are well, and go to urgent care when sick, Dr. Rahim is great. But, if you ever get sick, you will just have to deal with it yourself.

HIPAA VIOLATION Update: An Athens Internal Medicine…read moreemployee engaged in a HIPAA violation. I wrote a letter to the doctor and to St. Mary's. I got a letter apologizing for the employee's behavior, but was told they "did not believe" her behavior was a HIPAA violation. I filed a complaint with HIPAA. Turns out IT WAS A HIPAA VIOLATION. I never heard anything further from the doctors office. No acknowledgment. No apology. Based on the office manager's previous reaction, I doubt they'd want to hear about how they can improve as a practice. It's really sad. It wouldn't be hard to do a better job.

When you do get someone they have a terrible attitude, and scold you because they aren't" a clinic" and the have other patients , as if you are not important once they get your money .There are PLENTY of caring professionals that you can choose from , In my opinion this is not one working here though

Got an appt that day & fixed up real quick & easy. Starting to feel icky again this year. Definitely calling tomorrow.
