My experience with the service was less then honest. First off the Plantar Fasciitis sleeves, way to expensive, get them from 17-25 dollars online, not 49.99 in the Fleet Feet store. Second never tell a customer that Superfeet insoles can "cure" Plantar Fasciitis. (You have to be licensed medical doctor, or you lose your business) Superfeet insoles are for body alignment and Gait, NOT taking the pressure off the heal. Very misleading when places like Fleet Feet tell you this will help. I know it did not in my case after they sold it to me. Places like this should also not be bashing other businesses, as I heard from an employees mouth, when I visted the store. It's not positive. Keep your personal opinions to yourself. read more

The Gyms are all closed because of Corona Virus and so I decided to start running again for exercise... But what shoes to get? It's not like I can walk into a store and try several pairs on. But when I called Fleet feet in Modesto Donovan was so helpful and absolutely knew the ins and outs of all the shoes I was interested in. He helped me narrow it down to two pairs of shoes and when I got home and gave them a try and realized I should have gone with the other ones, I just called the store and Donovan had everything taken care of when I got to the store and brought my new shoes out to my car put them in my trunk and I never even had to leave the car. There are few places who's customer service is so good it actually makes you happy you paid full price... because you hope businesses like this who hire employees like this will never go out of business! I went here for my first time today. I needed help with new shoes because I was getting sore arches in my athletic shoes. They watched my walk bare foot, measured each foot and made a few recommendations. I loved the shoes and insole recommended for my problem. They are knowledgeable about problem feet and their shoes. They know their limits. They don't try to diagnose a medical problem. They just try to help correct the way you walk in your shoes. Went to fleet feet on Saturday morning to get some shoes for my husbands birthday. He works for usps and walks 5-7 miles a day delivering mail . His feet hurt a great deal. The usps shoes are not helpful in his walking . He has pain in feet, legs, calves, and sciatica because his shoes are all wrong. He also has blisters . We got the best service and information at fleet feet. Tony, the manager, was knowledgeable, precise, listened and gave Al the correct shoe for his needs. Experienced Employees with Great Customer Service! My husband and I started shopping at Fleet Feet in the last 6 months and were astounded by the great experience we had here. And we weren't the easiest customers either. We came in with something specific in mind for a long walking trip we will be taking soon (Hoka Biondi shoes - phenomenal for long distance walking by the way). Neither of us was easy to fit and we had lots of questions. Suffice it to say that we returned multiple times and were greeted with unbelievably knowledgeable people each and every time (Tony, Katie and Kevin to be specific) who treated us as though we were the most important people in the world and our questions and concerns were of great interest to them. They took the time to carefully measure feet, showed us special ways to tie the shoes for optimum fit, and counseled us on the benefits of arch supports and different kinds of socks. These are true professionals! We feel like the team has actually become partners in our walk and we will owe them for setting us up for success. The last two times, we walked to the store with our dog and found out the store is pet friendly for well behaved pooches. Can't say enough. You may pay a little more than buying from some discounter online but the professionalism and customer service is worth every penny! read more
