Fleet feet has a great selection of shoes and clothing and love that they scan your feet to give a personalized report. I used to go to the Montclair location but now come to Westfield having since moved to the area. Both locations are great. Want to give Joseph a big shoutout! I brought my husband in to get his feet scanned. Joseph helped scan his feet and then picked out 3 pairs for my husband to try on and asked him how each pair felt and what he liked/didn't like about each one. He thoroughly explained the difference between the pairs and made sure that my husband was thoroughly happy with the pair he picked. He also asked if we were interested insoles and socks and added these to our purchase. We came close to closing and he didn't make us feel rushed at all. He was also helping another woman at the same time but made sure that both us and the other woman had the attention we needed. At the end, he rang us up, carried our bag and walked us to the door. 11/10 service! Joseph is patient, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. I was looking for a new pair of running/walking treadmill shoes as mine were getting just a bit old to say the least. I can't even recall the last time I had my feet properly measured so this was a big plus. ...but I do recall when a pair of Converse All-Stars was only $10!! Needed a pair to dampen my left knee issues and after trying on about four different brands I Just purchased the HOKA Bondi 9. What a great experience. Justin just stuck to facts and information, not even a hint of an upsell. He spent a good amount of time analyzing my feet with their high toys - very cool by the way - and then brought out shoes that fit the analysis. After putting on the first shoe, I instantly knew he chose right for me. I actually felt bad that I didn't even want to try the others. If you run, you know the right shoe is important. NEVER have I decided that quickly on a shoe. I'm a customer for life ... let's just hope that means at least 5 pairs! read more

They have a great selection of sneakers, high tech diagnosis tools, and trained staff. However, they "suggest" expensive insole inserts to EVERYONE that comes in to buy sneakers. I feel this is an upsell designed to enrich the store and not always necessary and fair to the customer. Sneaker manufacturers spend millions of dollars designing sneakers and it seems counterintuitive that they'd design shoes with inadequate insoles. Fleet Feet needs to change their business practices to be more consumer friendly and fair. read more

What a pleasant experience at Fleet Feet. I was greeted by Oscar who was very friendly and professional. Explained the years of pain from plantar fasciitis, he took me through the foot scanning program and broke down each step explaining what was being looked at and why. I didn't really care which brand they had, I was more focused on comfort and pain management. After years of shopping happily at this store, I had a terrible experience. I will never go there again. I bought two pairs of Nike sneakers for a total of $260. The sneakers fell apart within two weeks. My shoe repairman said that the tongue of both sneakers shreds and frays almost as soon as they're worn. The manager would NOT take these back and would NOT refund the cost to me! I will NEVER shop there again! read more
