Took some of his 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes here and they wouldn't take any of them even though some of them were ones I had bought from that store before he was born. They sure as heck wanted all the toys he had outgrown though, offered me $10 for them I took the whole lot back home and put it on Marketplace for $20. It was gone within the hour.

Yes I do understand this is their "policy" but I have been to many many different Once Upon A Child stores in this state and in others and this is the most expensive one I have been too thus far. The staff is always usually super nice to me and my family so that's a plus. But I have been asked on multiple occasions to put in a google review for free items. I know this isn't illegal but it's wrong to buy reviews, when their entire experience should be genuine. I do love the company Once Upon A Child but I don't believe I can justify spending my money at this store in particular again...

I was standing in line, with no one behind me initially. I'd already been having a bad day. I didn't hear her call me, so she skipped around me. When I noticed the people who just walked up walk past me I walked up to the cash wrap and she said "your gonna have to get back on line because you didn't come". She still hadn't rang anything up for them, could have easily taken me. Instead she chose to be a snotty bitch, making little remarks, talking to me in a condescending manner. I eventually blew up. I worked at this location for a period of time... my experience was very disappointing, toxic, and…read morenegatively affected my mental health. One of the managers consistently took extremely long smoke breaks, she was rarely available when needed, and spent most of her time in the office on Facebook, or on her phone talking to her wife.. rather than helping the team on the floor. This made it difficult for employees to get the support we needed during busy shifts. The store manager Kim white also heavily contributes to a very toxic work environment. ( everyone feels this way but nobody will step Up to her) Kim white often shows clear favoritism toward certain employees while treating others extremely unfairly, she would talk about certain employees to other employees, and often got on the store microphone to openly embarrass employees when we had simple questions or concerns, which created tension and and uneasy work environment. Sue, Leanne and kaylan are wonderful managers and deserve more respect than they receive. Many of us regular workers tried to do our jobs well, but the lack of dependable leadership and professionalism made it an unpleasant and stressful place to work. I hope the company takes feedback like this seriously and addresses these issues so that future employees have a more positive experience, but I also think it's important to shed light on toxic work environments and work place mental and verbal abuse, I will also be leaving a review on yelp and I've sense contacted corporate, unfortunately I don't recommend this certain location for anyone looking for future employment.

However, I was blessed to have a wonderful store associate to help me through the process of finding everything that I needed for my son. I only wished I had went into Crazy 8 first. It would have saved quite a bit of time.Associate Terry M. did a great job in assisting me. He stayed with my son and I for the entire time while we were shopping. And even though it got busy at times, he never treated us as though we were an interruption of his day. For that I very grateful.

I've been to both and the customer service was very friendly and helpful. If I had to pick one over the other it would be Jacks Boots & Apparel. Reason? Their staff is more knowledgeable about the boots & fit and they definitely have more of a selection. It's funny because I've heard bad reviews about them both and I was treated really nice by both stores. (People say both stores race profile but I'm Black & got much love from both stores? I guess if you look for hate long enough, you'll find it even when it's not present because of your mindset). Boot Barn has a lot of boots but some of them are worn down from people trying them on. Pretty much what you see is what you get. There are no "new" boots in the back because they have no storage. Jack's Boots has a large selection as well. They have display boots and NEW boots in the box. I don't know about you, but if I'm going to drop $200-$500 on a pair of boots, I want them fresh out the box and still brand new. Jack's Boots also has more of a selection of exotic boots for women. Only problem is, Jack's website needs to be updated because it doesn't show half the boots they have in stock. In price comparison to a few western sites online, Jack's Boots saved me $80 on my exotics. My only knock against Jack's boots is their small military discount which is 5%. I mean, c'mon guys, you're in a military town that gives you 90% of your business, another 5% will not hurt you and the troops would sure appreciate it. I'll be back to purchase at Jack's just for the customer service alone.

Stuff you need but also stuff you don't need…read more Don't feel pressured by the enthusiastic staff to buy a bunch of things you are unsure you will even use. -The moment I walked through the door to start browsing I had a very nice employee give me a registry catalog / pamphlet that had a list of baby "essentials". She talked about all the benefits of the registry and let me go on my way but I was left feeling completely overwhelmed until doing research on my own. Babies don't need much and they certainly don't need all the expensive things this store peddles. -I love how nice the staff was; they were really truly helpful, especially the man in the stroller section that gave us a treasure of great information about strollers and car seats. -If you find yourself panicking over the sheer amount of stuff and the prices just remember that as great as this store is, it's not the only option. -The store was clean and easy to navigate. Any coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond can be used here because they are sister stores. Over all, my experience was pleasant but I definitely saw through the lie that you need all the stuff they say you need. I don't like people capitalizing on stressed out, nesting parents.
