The business is mostly online sales (which is great) therefore they have it numbered and stacked for easy retrieval to fill the online order. You cannot "see" the fabric unless you pull each bolt out and unwrap from a plastic bag. The staff is very friendly and helpful but I don't always know what I'm looking for until I see it. I don't know what the solution is but shop online and know what you are looking for before you arrive or maybe they should figure out a way to have a real storefront and display their goods. I feel like their business would really take off and grow exponentially if we could go "see" what they have especially since Joann's is now gone.

I hadn't planned to buy a new sewing machine, but knew it was definitely coming. I used the web information provided and purchased one over the phone that fit my sewing mission and my pocketbook. It was loaded into the back of my car, headed home. Unpacked it and I am off and sewing. The new machine is fabulous, just as advertised. Couldn't be happier. It is very close in operational characteristics to my old one (which is what I wanted), so not too much learning curve. My only hang-up is that I must use a different hand to raise the presser foot, only get it wrong about 30% of the time (down from 95%), so progress is being made. Thanks for being there!

So of course she wanted to do a quilting tour. I texted a friend who lives in Raleigh And she suggested we go to this store and another one which I will not mention. The other one people were not very friendly. They never reached out or asked us if they could help us. We were looking for some specific things and didn't know where to find them, so we spent a lot more time in the store than we actually planned on but it wasn't a good visit. Then we went to the store. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted, and when I say greeted, I mean with a big smile and can we help you? What are you looking for? Is there anything in particular you need? The person who was working, the store was delightful. She even took time to teach me and I am not quilter and she knew that, but still took the time to tell me what things were for. My friend ended up buying a bunch of stuff at that store. I was a little concerned because she was flying home and I wasn't sure it was all going to fit in her checked bag but we made it fit and we will be going back anytime she is in town. If you are a experienced quilter or one, just starting this is the store for you!!!!
