They were able to text me a picture of the arrangement and confirm delivery within a few hours, which was great as it was a last minute order for some sympathy flowers. Only drawback was the cost - $75 minimum order + delivery, my total came to around $110. A little pricey but to be expected for the area. This weekend I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Edward at his lovely flower shop, Fleurs du Jour! I was in Santa Monica to help with a booth at the Day of the Dog Festival! The only thing that surpassed the wonderful festival was meeting Edward, who is absolutely lovely, and walking away with a great feeling of happiness to learn something new from someone so nice and kind... I also left with some of the most beautiful pink roses I have ever seen, and each of the visitors to my son's booth were delighted to leave his booth with one of these lovelies! I must also say that Edward was in the midst of preparing for a big event and he stopped everything to help me right away and made sure that I left with a bucket with water to keep the flowers in the best shape possible. The gentleman I spoke with was so helpful and accommodating- I picked an arrangement and wanted to add a couple specific flowers to it. The arrangement was unbelievable with the kalalilies and gardenias added to it, it was just as special and beautiful as I had hoped for. I will 100% use this florist again they went above and beyond with getting the specific flowers the day of at the flower market to making sure the arrangement got to the hotel early enough for it to be in the hotel room when the birthday girl checked in. I had the absolute best experience with Fleurs Du Jour this week. I had Fleurs Du Jour delivered flowers to a friend who just delivered in St. Johns hospital in Santa Monica. This is not only a week where we are still in Covid quarantine, but also the week of the BLM protests and with that there were riots in the area. With that the Fleurs Du Jour's owner personally delivered the flowers to the hospital which was on high security alert. After trying to get the flowers to my friend for about 45 minutes, he called and offered to deliver a fresh bouquets of flowers a second time to her house, two days later when she got home. This is where you go if you want a gorgeous floral arrangement for yourself or to give (or send) to someone else. Their arrangements are artistic, hip and always impressive. I've yet to know one person that has received an arrangement from Fleurs Du Jour that hasn't been very pleased with their flowers. You will find that they carry a number of interesting vases and have quite a nice selection of flowers. One of the things that I love about this shop is that they are very willing to work with you on selecting something that is perfect for any occasion, making it a fun collaborative experience. This is not the type of place where you'll find snooty employees that turn their noses down at a customer that doesn't want to spend an enormous sum on an arrangement. There have been times when I've purchased little arrangements and other times, more expensive ones so I'm speaking from experience. These are wonderful people that know how to treat their clientele and that's precisely why they've thrived at this location for so many years. Their posh little store is located in a charming little enclave in a kinda sorta mini mall just above Main Street. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge but so far, the Parking God's have seemed to be smiling upon me by always directing my car to a sweet little spot almost directly in front of their fragrant oasis. read more

I've always heard great things about this florist and only recently started ordering arrangements from them for work. The staff is also friendly and nice--as well as helpful over the phone, when you're at a complete loss when it comes to putting together the little greeting card. Minus one star, though, when I set up an appointment for my sister and I to meet the owner for her wedding flowers. He never showed up, I never got notified about it and instead, we had to wait an hour for another staffer to come in. (Luckily we had other errands to run in the neighborhood.) Met with another person who didn't seem to have as much enthusiasm or interest in talking about flowers for her wedding. They were still very helpful though, but judging from that experience (compared to how nice they are over the phone), they're not our favorite. I'm so used to having to pick from pre-made arrangements, it was almost intimidating being able to choose what I wanted in an arrangement. However, the man working there lead me through the process, asking me what kinds of flowers she likes, showing me a few different varieties, asked me what colors she likes, then asked about a price range, he then took care of the rest. My wife says they're the most beautiful flowers I've ever given her and I have to agree. They were stunning and far better than other arrangements I've bought for a similar price. From the flowers to the centerpieces to the cascading flowers & greens & succulents on the whimsical canopy planted beautifully on the Malibu beach, the wedding was magically enhanced with blossoms. I read all the other great reviews online and decided to order a special occasion arrangement from Fleurs Du Jour last week. I called at 9:30AM, discussed my order and price range, and asked whether I could pick it up at 11AM. The owner was collaborative, helpful, efficient, and clearly put customer service above all else. When I arrived at 11AM the arrangement was more beautiful then I could have imagined on my own. All of the flowers had been gathered that morning and were perfectly fresh. The arrangement was exactly what I ordered. It was an easy process with exactly the result I hoped for. This will be my go-to florist from now on. Thank you! Good to know: the shop isn't on main street, but is on the side across from the Public Library. I had no trouble with parking but I can imagine it might be difficult during busy times of the day.
