The photos told me this would be a tasteful and modern bouquet, but all I asked for was "peonies, romantic" and "can you do it in 30mins or less? I have ordered from here often and have always been satisfied. I debated about writing a review but I was so disappointed with the last order that I had to write. It was actually for my Dads service. They went wrong in two places. 1-I had two tall vase orders of what was supposed to be orchids and roses. I even brought in my vases from the past so the money would be put into flowers. I only received two stems of orchids with a few large leaves for $150 each! Looked empty and disappointing despite them assuring me it'll be full 2- we ordered three sprays. One was going to be the largest/fullest as it was from the children and the other two to be smaller/fewer flowers. They did the opposite:the one spray from the kids was so empty and lacking flowers and the other two had all the blooms. I had to pull flowers from the other two and fill in the empty spots to at least even things out. Of all times for Hidden Gardens to disappoint. read more

Really bad customer service. I called in for roses and asked for it to be prepared and get pricing. When I arrived it was chaotic and nobody was helping me with checking out. I asked for the price and after the prepped the flowers then they said it was $80 for 12 roses, I couldn't believe it. They said it was the quality of roses but they weren't in the best condition. I've loved their work for years and always found them to be so lovely and accommodating. What finally pushed me to write this review was such an awesome customer service experience I had this morning: when I went to pick up flowers I had ordered for my mom, mother in law and grandma, I was a little disappointed about the color of the arrangements as I'd wanted very vibrant spring colors for two of the three arrangements and while beautiful they were more purple than I'd been expecting. The wonderful women working were really responsive to my comments and immediately swapped out the largest arrangement for a stunning brighter version that it turned out one of the florists had put together specifically for one of the women who did the swap for me. They also had a florist swap out some of the purples in the other arrangement for some brighter oranges and yellows I'd been hoping for. Just beyond generous and helpful! They were massive and fresh and beyond expectations. The white orchids and roses were magical!!! Striking beyond words. How they handled it with short notice was amazing too. Also how they got the huge arrangements from the Church to the hotel after was so fantastic and appreciated so we could enjoy the flowers after the wedding for a little. I knew from their pics that I would get something pretty and left it up to florist's choice. I also love being able to support a local business. Go here. You will be satisfied. This place is worth every penny every time. It may be twice the price of whatever you can buy at the checkout line at Ralph's, but seriously, don't even bother with that stuff. Go here instead. The arrangements are in another league entirely and almost always last three times as long (usually 2 weeks!) Everything about this place is excellent, it has become my go-to florist. I don't need to repeat it but their arrangements are beautiful and perfectly balanced. If that wasn't enough they have almost perfect intuition. They have a very thorough range of flowers and vases and are able to accommodate any style or taste. Each time I go there I call in advance and order with a generally vague description and when I show up they've put together exactly what I wanted despite my best efforts to thwart them. They remember who I am and while they always seem to be busy they're polite and will quickly and happily take your order. A few tips. If you call ahead they will happily take your order and will somehow read your mind to give you exactly what they want. If you want to show up they'll allow you to select a vase but you'll be waiting ~20 to 30 minutes. There's food in the area. Parking isn't great, but you can usually get something. Also traffic is pretty bad from 4 to 5, but that's LA. read more
