    Our AC stopped working about a week ago. My husband called ACE, as they were the first business…read morethat popped up in a Google search and it has been between 90°-100°. The tech came a few days later, did a (clearly not thorough) inspection of the unit. He ended up telling us that our compressor was bad, the unit (that we bought brand new and had professionally installed 4 years ago) was "too old and obsolete," and that it was going to cost us an estimated $6,700 to change out our outside coil unit and compressor. Since we don't have a spare $6,700, we contacted another business (Environment Concepts, Inc. Heating and Air Conditioning) for a second opinion. Billy came out the next day and completely fixed the problem (NOT the compressor, not anything the guy from ACE lied to us about) for $300. ACE wanted to rip us off for literally THOUSANDS of dollars that we don't have. They offered no other options or solutions, and had we not found the company that actually helped us, we would be completely without AC for who knows how long in the AZ summer heat. When my husband received a message from ACE to OFFER FINANCING on a completely unnecessary service, he told them what happened and how unacceptable their business practices are. The only response was to tell him that they could still offer services in the future. Absolutely unbelievable! Bottom line, if I could give ACE zero stars, I would. They are unethical and clearly out to steal whatever they can from unsuspecting victims. For as many elderly people on fixed incomes and young families just starting out as there are around here, it is disgusting to know that this company would rather let people overheat than to be honest and fo the correct work for a workable amount. I will NEVER recommend ACE, and will be telling everyone I know how badly they tried to rip us off. They should be ashamed of themselves, and I only hope that people see this and know not to trust these liars.

There were 5 people ahead of me and each person took about 10 minutes to be helped. I was there for over a 1/2 hour to PICK UP EQUIPMENT. This company has ZERO respect for anyone's time. When I got home, I realized how unacceptable this was and I took the equipment back unused, I ran into the same issue. They have 2 desks in the front office, but in their mind people can simply wait for one person to help them. Oh, and unapologetic for any of it... Apparently, they feel superior (lots of people recommend them) and don't need to work for anyone's hard earned money. If you can get T-Mobile get T-Mobile... If you can get ANY other Internet, do it. JUST TAKE A BIG PASS ON SPARKLIGHT!

TIME WILL TELL: i did sign up for the 1gig plan, so far not too happy as it is around 300 at best, will go over all the equipment and settings again and will come back with an update.

I had tried to use the "800" phone number and internet to make some changes to my parents account. My father passed away in May and my mother is moving into assisted living where she will need a phone, but no internet service. The Centurylink customer service phone representative was not helpful and left me the impression that, because my mother (who suffers from memory problems) could not remember a special code for her account, would continue to extract auto-pay payments from her bank account even after her death! The internet "chat" person continued the chat long enough to say she couldn't help (customer service...really?). So I called the Prescott phone number and when "Jose" answered I found out he was in Tuscon; the Prescott store was closed. BUT Jose was the only Centurylink employee who was willing to help me coordinate relocating the phone line for my mother. In addition, he scheduled an internet connection for me as I will be moving into my parents home and will need this service. SO for those who are frustrated with Centurylink "Customer Service" have hope that you will find your "Jose" who will patiently answer your questions and explain what services Centurylink will provide. The 2 star rating could have been a 1 star based on the internet and phone customer service representatives; Jose bailed them out.

I am a long time property manager and call plumbers and trade experts all the time. I have learned discretion. I called this company to look at a tenants 10 year old AO Smith (bought new, commercial grade) water heater. The water heater was making popping noises and she was concerned. The solution was draining the sediment, which can be accomplished in a service call or by any rudimentary handy man in an hour. Guess what I was told? I was told I needed a new water heater at a cost of $4,000. This massive upsale effort is nothing short of disgusting. I drained it myself, problem solved. I wrote this review because the company had no clear way to email them. I could have called with feedback and questions, and I may update this review if aomeone at the company is responsible enough to call me. Until then, it stands and I suggest you get at least two other opinions before replacing equipment at their recommendation.

Since it's 30 years old I have no problem with that recommendation. We got prices from the project manager and when we tried to call him a day or so later with some questions, we were told he no longer works there. We were offered 7% off and when questioned them about the 15% off, we were told that has already been taken off. Apparently the original price was over $21,000.00. Since asking about that, we haven't heard a word from them and it's been over a week. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
