The tech came a few days later, did a (clearly not thorough) inspection of the unit. He ended up telling us that our compressor was bad, the unit (that we bought brand new and had professionally installed 4 years ago) was "too old and obsolete," and that it was going to cost us an estimated $6,700 to change out our outside coil unit and compressor. Since we don't have a spare $6,700, we contacted another business (Environment Concepts, Inc. Heating and Air Conditioning) for a second opinion. Billy came out the next day and completely fixed the problem (NOT the compressor, not anything the guy from ACE lied to us about) for $300. ACE wanted to rip us off for literally THOUSANDS of dollars that we don't have. They offered no other options or solutions, and had we not found the company that actually helped us, we would be completely without AC for who knows how long in the AZ summer heat. When my husband received a message from ACE to OFFER FINANCING on a completely unnecessary service, he told them what happened and how unacceptable their business practices are. The only response was to tell him that they could still offer services in the future. Absolutely unbelievable! Bottom line, if I could give ACE zero stars, I would. They are unethical and clearly out to steal whatever they can from unsuspecting victims. For as many elderly people on fixed incomes and young families just starting out as there are around here, it is disgusting to know that this company would rather let people overheat than to be honest and fo the correct work for a workable amount. I will NEVER recommend ACE, and will be telling everyone I know how badly they tried to rip us off. They should be ashamed of themselves, and I only hope that people see this and know not to trust these liars.

After I booked HelloTech confirmed my appointment and the tech, Urvin, reached out with a phone call to confirm. He arrived on time and completed our TV wall mounting the project to our satisfaction. He was friendly, professional and accommodating when we wanted the TV moved down. 5-stars for Urvin and 5-stars for HelloTech. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Steve designed and built remote sensing and control for it as well as three garage doors; we know their status at a glance and can control any of them with a button or our phone. If we are coming home from a trip, the home will be warmed up, water heater working, driveway lights on, etc. All this in addition to a fine security system and whole-house sound. My father passed away in May and my mother is moving into assisted living where she will need a phone, but no internet service. The Centurylink customer service phone representative was not helpful and left me the impression that, because my mother (who suffers from memory problems) could not remember a special code for her account, would continue to extract auto-pay payments from her bank account even after her death! The internet "chat" person continued the chat long enough to say she couldn't help (customer service...really?). So I called the Prescott phone number and when "Jose" answered I found out he was in Tuscon; the Prescott store was closed. BUT Jose was the only Centurylink employee who was willing to help me coordinate relocating the phone line for my mother. In addition, he scheduled an internet connection for me as I will be moving into my parents home and will need this service. SO for those who are frustrated with Centurylink "Customer Service" have hope that you will find your "Jose" who will patiently answer your questions and explain what services Centurylink will provide. I called this company to look at a tenants 10 year old AO Smith (bought new, commercial grade) water heater. The water heater was making popping noises and she was concerned. The solution was draining the sediment, which can be accomplished in a service call or by any rudimentary handy man in an hour. Guess what I was told? I was told I needed a new water heater at a cost of $4,000. This massive upsale effort is nothing short of disgusting. I drained it myself, problem solved. I wrote this review because the company had no clear way to email them. I could have called with feedback and questions, and I may update this review if aomeone at the company is responsible enough to call me. The last tech, a year ago, either didn't go near that connection or spent little time there. Alton sent in an order for service at that "box". He said that I might lose connection until an Optimum truck fixes whatever needs repair at that location for my internet. Alton thoroughly explained everything. He also assisted me accessing my Firestick which hadn't worked since the prior tech guy replaced my modem Spring of 2025. Alton was professional, informative, respectful. I also want to repeat how much more helpful Vic was in the downtown office than my last two visits which involved the same gentleman who seldom looked at me and seemed bored with his job.
