Started a beginner's Level 1 class several weeks ago. It is great! Not only am I learning how to…read morebreath and learning different yoga poses, I am learning about the history of yoga, the meaning behind certain poses, and a bunch of other helpful information to get the most out of the yoga experience. I have started other yoga programs before, but this is the only one I stuck with! The Level 1 is great for anyone who is interested in yoga (whether you have never done it before or used to practice a long time ago). The owner and instructor, Brooke, is very knowledgeable and personable. She welcomes questions and really individualizes each session to the students who are present. I am learning how to incorporate the practice of yoga into my every day life to be more present and less stressed.

I also love the Stability ball class on Monday nights. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. They give you modifications as needed, it is great to be able to improve and feel better after such a short time. Give the classes a try, I think you will enjoy it.

I prefer a quieter experience when I enter my yoga space, but that's me. The class itself was hatha so I wasn't expecting an experience where i would be dripping sweat, but this was a very gentle class...yes you can deepen the postures as you need to, but that was challenging when there were so many people in the class that we had little room to accommodate. There is a really beautiful alter that adds a lot to the atmosphere, along with plenty of props for use. There was restrooms and changing areas available as well.

The studio offers mobility classes, yoga, assisted stretch customized appointments, and an adorable little boutique shop in the front. The assisted stretch are classified two ways: Quicke, or Elongated, with stretch packages offered as well. My selection was the quickie 1/2 hr session, upon entering, a simple intake form was completed, customized to your preference and target areas, and then your one on one session started. Jocelyn, the owner is amazing, personalizes your session, makes you feel comfortable, and helps you to understand basic muscular anatomy with PT background. Each class targets an area to focus on (spine, back,etc) which helps me to truly concentrate on improving/strengthening this specific area. Joy provides great instruction as she guides you through the poses and always offers suggestions for modifications, if needed. The flow of Joy's classes is steady-time to adjust to each pose and feel the calmness of the movement. By the end of each class, I feel my body has become stronger and more sure of itself.
