I specifically ordered 1/3 cobble rock based on what I saw there. However, when the truck delivered the material and dumped it in my driveway, I realized the rocks were much smaller and did not match what I had originally selected at the shop. Unfortunately, I didn't check the load in the truck before it was dumped. At that point, I had no real option to refuse the delivery since the rocks were already blocking both my driveway and part of the road. I was forced to move forward and use the material in my landscaping. This experience felt very misleading, and I'm disappointed with the lack of consistency and transparency. They sold me 30 pounds of screws, when I needed less than five... like they said, you can return what you don't need. The issue is they charge you a 10% restocking fee when they're the ones that grossly overestimated. When I complained about it, the clerk just kind of shrugged, which was OK, then some other guy ( Jeff maybe) walked over and said " It's just an estimate, and it's your responsibility to make sure it's right". As if anyone asked him. The point being, there's a 10% incentive for them to overestimate. That's a dirty way to do business.

Despite not being their direct customer, we were pulled into a payment issue due to their failure to collect payment from their actual customer before delivery. They later claimed the order was COD, but that was never communicated ahead of time, and no payment was requested at the time of delivery. Instead of resolving the issue directly with their customer, they sent us, a third party, threatening notices about filing a Mechanic's Lien. This approach was not only unprofessional but completely avoidable had the company handled their internal processes properly. It caused unnecessary stress for people uninvolved in the transaction. We hope Hanford Sand & Gravel improves their communication and payment procedures moving forward.

When the installation team from Master Glass opened the packets to install, one of the bathroom window was difficult to open, and the slide door screen had a hole on it. Kevin and Brett made a claim to the factory. After that, the technician from JeldWen came to my ADU with the new slide door screen and fixed the window. Ordering a door can be really stressful because there are a lot of factors to consider. Light exposure, wear and tear.. I knew the look that I wanted but I had no idea what type of material. Don walked me through all of my options and we ended up with the perfect door. I'll post another picture from the outside once it's painted but this door really frames the house so beautifully. I'll definitely be using and recommending phase 4 in the future!
