We embarked on our kitchen remodel project in May 2022 and got 5 quotes from various local granite fab and installers. It was apparent when Kasi came out and spoke with us with lots of experience and advice over the other companies. The quote we received was clear and exactly what we had discussed and so we signed and put a deposit to secure our place in priority. Though it was three months wait for the project to start, but it was perfect as it gave us time to do weekend visits to local granite warehouses including sourcing plumbing fixtures. The three months time gave us ability to iterate on our selections of granite and plumbing fixtures and we were ready when the project began. Monday was demolition and it was fast. Tuesday was templating and it took most of the day. We were amazed with Mike (owner) and Robert who were so meticulous and good at what they do and I actually learned a lot about how templating works, which was extremely logical. Don't worry Mike, I am not ready to take your IP and start a new career - yet :-). Wednesday of the following week was the day of installation and was exciting with a great crew led by Robert. Everything that was templated and CAD came out perfect. The technology used for the sink install and granite joins were so high-tech that it gives us great piece of mind on this remodel. Overall, Stokes Granite and Stone is a professional company; awesome people from the office to the field; very thoughtful and thorough; and followed through. We are extremely happy to have selected to hire Stokes and would highly recommend them to any stone remodel. The most important thing is that my wife LOVES the new granite, single bowl sink, and high-tech faucets. I LOVE the new cooktop. Excellent business. They have beyond competitive prices. We got estimates from numerous businesses and Stokes Was the Lowest price by far (many places we got estimates from were charging outrageously high prices, but even the more reasonable ones wanted double what I paid at Stokes). They did not try to upsell at any point, there were no hidden and The price they quoted me was exactly what I was billed. Every staff member I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - and I called or emailed them numerous times with numerous questions. It did take a few months to get an installation date, but that was still sooner than most other contractors/businesses (Plus, Stokes is such a great company, it's obvious why there would be a bit of a wait). They did a beautiful job installing our countertop and I was very impressed. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again if we ever need to install more granite. read more

Stokes Granite and Stone did a beautiful job on my kitchen and laundry room counters. I would highly recommend them. From the demo to installation, everything went smoothly. Ashley in the office was a pleasure to work with, let us know the timeline and everything went as scheduled. The fabricators were able to place the seam by the sink and there is another seam on the narrow part of the raised bar, each seam is barely noticeable. All the employees do quality work, the edges of the counter fit tightly against the wall, no gaps. I will include a picture at the end. Stokes Granite was able to order the Cambria Quartz I liked, so I didn't have to purchase from another vendor and have it delivered. They took care of all that, which made it so much easier. We executed a significant job with Stokes and very happy with the overall execution. It started by my asking my builder to get me in touch with their fabricator so that they could verify how many slabs that I needed to buy. His slab fabricator only spoke Russian and needed a translator to work with him. I knew that it would not work and I went looking for a fabricator myself and based on the reviews, selected Stokes. It started with getting an estimate. The main person we were in contact with was Ashley. She gave us the quotes, we visited their shop and talked with her - showed her a few special things we wanted to do, understood the different types of edges etc. The initial process itself went very well. As we were buying a few slabs, some of the shops automatically extended us the Stokes fabricator discount. For a few others, Ashley had to call and get the pricing and place the order. From what I can tell, their discount was better than a few other places and they passed the discount to the customer. We had a somewhat of a long design process and Ashley helped us through all that. She reviewed some of my planned layouts on how we were going to use the slabs, we discussed if we reduce size of certain things so that we could have 90% wrap something from the same slab - so that the transition at the kitchen waterfall would come out nicely. Some of these were really critical decisions - e.g. changing size of kitchen island from 96" to 93" so that things fit on the slab. We were unsure of what kind of slab to get for the outside BBQ and whether we could use 3CM. Or could we use the material from the tub cutout for a countertop. There were things that Ashley was not sure about and she would talk to Mike (more on that later) to get the answers. There is no way I could have done any of this with the original Russian fabricator. Ashley also did the billing and things changed from the estimate only due to our changes. Stokes stuck to what they quoted us - that was great! So then we come to the templating process and we had Mike come to our house. I didn't realize it at the time but Mike is also one of the owners of Stokes (it is on their web page) but he is very humble person. Mike was equally amazing, very knowledgeable and patient. He worked through some of the complex things bringing several ideas to help resolve the issues. The fireplace was complex for us and Mike made my vision work. Now besides these two, all the staff from Stokes that came for installation was excellent - very good attitude to get the work done. They worked around few of the cabinet issues without flinching. And if we noticed something, they took care of it. We were frequently in touch with Robert and he let us know what was going on and answered all out questions. And in the backroom - there was Nate doing all the layouts and answering several of our questions and adjusting things based on what we were thinking. All in all - overall a great experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending Stokes to anybody. read more

We got about 5 estimates to have our existing tile and grout counter tops upgraded to granite. We also purchased a new granite composite sink, along with a new faucet. Stokes wasn't the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive, but they turned out to be the right choice. Mike and his team did a fantastic job installing the new counters, as well as placing the sink. The cuts are perfect, as are the seams. My wife hesitated on the final piece. Mike had to pry the piece off to give her time to rethink it. It was no easy task, but it went above and beyond, as far as I'm concerned. They ended up coming back out and putting it back in, exactly as was originally planned. These guys were very professional and precise, exactly what you want for a counter top that will be around for a very long time. Their attention to detail, timeliness, communication and top notch customer service make them stand out. They also put in some supports to extend the counter out, and it's perfect. They made it easy to pick up the remnants. Again, Mike was there to help. He got the remnants safely loaded in our truck, and securely tied down. Last week we caused a small divot in one of the edges. Dave came out and did an excellent job of "fixing" it. You can't even tell where it was. I can't say enough about the job Stokes did, and about their continued exceptional customer service after the completion of the job. Without hesitation we would definitely recommend Stokes. He was knowledgeable, very helpful and patient. Again, very respectful, clean and conscientious. Final install was done by Paul and David. Again, extremely careful of my home. Put our marble in, spending extra time to get it perfect. They came back a couple days later to seal. Each time someone was coming, they called ahead of time letting us know they were on their way, and when they would arrive.
