They have a lunch menu, plus pastries and baked goods, and 80-plus types of tea to choose from. (You can also buy tea leaves by the ounce so you can brew it at home.) I especially enjoyed the chocolate mint tea over ice. It has a very nice flavor and was served with a strawberry and the slight strawberry flavor really made it that much better.

The following review is my opinion of my experience in taking my grandmother's clock there to get the 8 day key winding mechanism repaired, which had stopped running. The clock had recently been hanging on my wall for several years, where it was regularly looked at and admired by both myself and my family members who remembered it hanging in my grandmother's home for over 50 years. The clock was taken to Kathy's Kove where it was looked over by Kathy and I was quoted a price of $125 for the repair. I was told that the clock would be given to another individual who does the actual repair work. I agreed, and the clock was left with Kathy. Several days later, I received a call saying that if I wanted the original mechanism repaired, it would now cost several hundreds of dollars, but that they could remove the mechanism and replace it with a quartz (battery) mechanism. I was not happy about this turn of events, but the clock has sentimental value to me, and I would like to keep it running so I agreed to have it switched over to a battery mechanism. A couple of weeks after that, I received a call that my clock was ready to be picked up. When I went to the shop, my clock was laid out on a table. The first thing I noticed was that a sizable piece of decorative molding circling the clock face was now missing. I immediately brought this to Kathy's attention, and she brushed off my concern by saying something to the effect, "Oh, it was probably like that when you brought it in, and you probably just didn't notice." OH, REALLY??? I had this clock hanging on my wall for several years, and looked at it all the time. I THINK I WOULD HAVE NOTICED A LARGE PIECE OF MISSING MOLDING BY NOW!!! I noticed that a photocopied picture had been taken of the damaged area, and stapled to the receipt I was handed when I picked up the clock. This photo was taken at some point AFTER I left the clock in their care. No photos were taken of the clock when I dropped it off, because there was no damage to note at that time! Of course, there is nothing I can do now except live with the damage, as these kinds of situations are their word against yours. They of course just claim the clock was damaged when it was entrusted to them, but I know it was not. And that is where things will unfortunately have to be left. But I can inform and warn others of my experience, and advise that if you have a clock that needs repair, especially if it is a treasured family piece that you have a sentimental attachment to, that you seek out another place to get it repaired. If you entrust a clock here, you do so at your own peril. I of course will not patronize these people again.

I brought my all‑original 1960s Omega Seamaster to Dickens Jewelers in Clinton for what should have…read morebeen a simple, straightforward service. What I got back was the most dishonest, incompetent, and unbelievable experience I have ever had with any business. They lost my original Omega crown -- a part that matters enormously for originality, value, and collectability. When I picked the watch up, I immediately noticed a cheap generic crown installed. When I confronted them, I was given an absurd explanation: they claimed this random generic crown had "just happened" to be found on the floor and they "assumed" it belonged to my watch. The idea that a generic crown just happened to fit a 60‑year‑old Omega Seamaster is insulting. I told them I had photos documenting the watch with its original crown before I brought it in and would be happy to show them. Their response? They told me they "trusted me." After hearing their story, I certainly didn't trust them. I then wrote a letter explaining that they had lost a 60‑year‑old original part, damaging the watch's integrity, history, and value. After that, I received multiple calls a day from them, which I ignored because I wanted everything in writing. The explanations continued to change. Suddenly they claimed they bought a magnet, found my original crown, and reattached it. I picked the watch up -- and the crown fell off immediately. I took the watch to another jeweler for an independent evaluation. Their watchmaker found a damaged stem and glue inside the watch, apparently used to hold the crown on. Yes -- glue. Inside a vintage Omega. That jeweler also told me I was one of countless people who had brought in watches "serviced" by Dickens that needed corrective work. As of a few days ago, their watchmaker is literally removing glue from inside my watch because Dickens' "resolution" was to glue the crown on and glue the watch together. Truly unbelievable. Even after losing original parts, damaging the watch, giving me contradictory stories, and returning a watch that fell apart in my hands, Dickens Jewelers only offered a partial refund of the service fee. I had to dispute the charge through my bank because I no longer trusted anything they said. My Omega survived more than 60 years. It took Dickens Jewelers one service appointment to lose original components, damage the movement, attempt a shortcut glue repair, and give me a series of explanations that made the situation worse every time they spoke. It goes without saying that even a 1‑star rating is far too generous. The only silver lining is that this happened to one of my Omegas and not one of my vintage Rolexes, sentimental pieces, or much higher‑end watches. If Victor and Kevin are willing to lie pathologically about something as trivial as a routine service on a vintage watch, you have to ask yourself a very uncomfortable question: what would stop them from lying about something with far greater monetary value, carat weight, or sentimental importance -- like an engagement ring, wedding band, or family heirloom? There are several far more competent jewelers right here in Clinton, NJ. I strongly advise using any of them and avoiding Dickens Jewelers at all cost.
