I decided to visit flight club after I heard about all the recent changes at the club. As soon as I entered I was greeted by valet who were welcoming and friendly. While in the building I couldn't help but admire the design. From the lights to the chandelier everything is meticulously placed and compares to no club around! From the beautiful women to the sexy atmosphere, I felt like I was in Miami. I sat at the bar and was served by Kayli who made great recommendations. My drinks and food tasted like I was at a five star restaurant. On top of the great service, the manager Johnny stopped to chat with me which made my experience feel personable. After eating my husband and I got a dance where I was greeted by Drew the GM at VIP who truly made the experience. His humor and aura was one I never experienced. I came to this place 3 years ago and came back this past weekend and have the same thoughts. Let's start with the positives. The place looks amazing, has an upscale vibe with a dress code, and the "Staff" ( non dancers) are super friendly. Now on to the negatives. Like other people said, you definitely need a lot of money when you come to this place. It's mandatory valet parking which is $8. The entry fee is $25 and the drinks are expensive as hell. It costs $10 for a corona when it costs less than that for a 6 pack. V.I.P. is $25 and the dances are the highest in the area. Also, like other reviewers have stated, some of the dancers are stuck up and unenthusiastic. I literally saw a girl swing around the pole. Not dance, just swing. (On a side note I saw a lot of plastic if you know what I mean). The ones that did dance were ok, but nothing that would make you throw money on the stage. They played a lot of rock and country so maybe that had something to do with it. As far as the stuck up part, a lot of the dancers just walk right past you with no eye contact unless you look like you have lots of money. I literally had a girl walk past me like 10 times and never looked at me once. The shot girls and waitresses were very sociable but some of the dancers not so much. Eventually a nice looking caramel dancer approached me and we had a good convo. We eventually went to v.i.p, I got a bunch of dances, and I had a fun time. Overall my experience was a mixed bag. Flight Club is working on developing a casino so there is some construction going on. It is suppose to be called "Flying Aces" casino. Free cover charge before 7pm and then goes up to $10, or $15 on the weekends. $7 mandatory valet parking charge plus a coat check fee (not sure on it because I left my coat in the car). Bottle of water was $8.50. I was told smoking is allowed on the second floor because that is their cigar bar. Bathroom has an attendant and I believe shoe shining service was available. As Deborah R. mentioned this place is similar to the Penthouse in Detroit. The main difference I noticed is that Flight Club did not have a fancy elevator for customers to use to get to the second floor. read more

This place is a lot like The Penthouse (they are under the same ownership). The women are beautiful and the drinks are delicious (at moderate prices). The seating is prime for great views and the booths are comfortable. The private rooms are nice also (yes, I got a dance, it was great). This was my first and last trip to the Flight Club. I'm from 2 hours north of Detroit. A friend recommended visiting the Flight Club which resulted in a very disappointing experience. Entering the parking lot there was valet parking for $8 that I paid and included a tip for the valet. Upon entering i was informed of a $30 per person cover charge along with a fee for coat check amounting to $63 for 2 people to enter the club. Again, I included a tip. After taking a seat in the club I sought change for $1 bills to tip stage entertainers and was informed that $100 was required to receive a bundle of $1 bills that when counted totaled $90 with no mention of a fee. When I brought the discrepancy to staff attention, I was told it was their rule to charge $10 for making change and was not offered a refund. This was straight out fraud. The staff was all very rude with the exception of the valet. I came to the Flight Club prepared to spend money for a fun night out while I was in town, but instead I was ripped off and my friend and I were treated very disrespectfully. read more

I went out with my friends to Flight Club and it was a good time. I asked the bouncer, the lady at the frost counter, and numerous strippers how much a dance was for one song. I was told by each of these individuals $30 so I was approached for a dance and I said yes. When I got upstairs the security guard said $20 and I thought cool a dance for only $20. After my dance the stripper said that'll be $30 and I promptly replied with "so $10 more?" Her and the security guard ended up getting in my face calling me broke and a piece of shit. Nobody ever stated that it would be $30 for a dance $20 to be in a room. Would you spend $20 just to sit in a room? Last time I did that was at the doctors office for a $20 copay. I have no problem paying $50 for a dance but it's not fair to people to say $30 then expect $20 more. If you wanna spend $20 to get in (which is basically $20 to sit in a large room)just to spend another $20 to sit in a room then go to flight club. The dancers are not worth to the money they expect. But they would try to rip you out, in-fact most times they are successful in looting you, they prove they are cheap. Specially stay away from White girls, if you want few dollars left in pocket and want to go back home, safe without having to have rough time with security guards or with cash advance collections.
