In the end I felt the discussion of my attire had become unprofessional when he felt it necessary to tell me how long he had been in the business. (I look ten years younger than I am). At that time I told him I would call my ride to turn around because I didn't like the energy and I apologized for the disagreement. I grabbed my coat from the coat check and asked if I needed to wait outside or if I could grab a seat. As I asked I pointed to a specific seat. He said yes so I sat down.
