My story begins when a jump start on my immobile vehicle late on a Saturday night resulted in no…read moresuccess, a call to AAA was made. Unfortunately, a shift change for tow drivers was about to take place and the distance to the dealership that the car was needing to be towed to was far, therefore no drivers were able to be secured. To add to the chaos this dealership is closed on Sundays which meant my car would sit overnight for 2 times! I live far from where the vehicle was and further still from my place of work on Monday morning! AAA told me that I was in need of an "unaccompanied tow" (due to my inability to be at the car at the time of towing.) This scenario caused me great distress. While AAA is always piece of mind in these scenarios, this was a tough one all around. Calm came to me only due to the extra attention at such a nerve-wracking moment, as delivered by Mikey from CT AC. On Monday morning Mikey called me to let me that he was on the way to my vehicle. Though he took on a far distance tow he did so with a smile that I could hear through the phone! Because the windows would not go down due to no power, I was worried that the bit of rain from the night before, could have caused damage to my interior. Mikey relieved that concern with another phone call and also shared good news that he was able to jump start it (though he assured me a tow to the dealership was still wise)! I agreed and hung up with a great sense of relief. It seemed the very least that I could do would be pay it forward and give a proper shout out to a man who went out of his way literally, to deliver more than just my car.
