They seem to withhold as much information as they can while providing only positive information in attempts to receive your money. For a flight school, it is a pay by hour Syllabus. This allows them to extend the hours at which you have to fly and pay more and more money. They stress to use their more expensive planes and will not tell you of their cheaper planes unless you ask. Within their paper showing costs for each rating, they withhold about 22 hours of flight and instruction along with about 22 hours of ground that you find out too late. This comes to approximately an extra $6,000 in total not including Instructor training. Of which they say you have a slight possibility of instructing for them after spending approximately $15,000 for certificates. I cant stress enough that this school is undeniably a sketchy location to send large sums of money to. Of which you inevitably will. On the off chance that a student pilot has just shy of a 6 figure bank account, this school specifically pushes for more hours from you than required and has too many hidden expenses for the average student. I graciously grant this school two stars for 1 - The airport isnt too busy 2 - They tell you up front that it is a pay by the hour school even though they don't provide all of the hours needed

There is no right or wrong time. You just have to do it and it will all work itself out. So here I am, 42 years old, father of three girls with an amazing wife and I decided to just do it. I looked at three schools that were all of equal distance from where I live and decided to go with Aamro in WPB off Beeline (SR 710) just north of PGA Blvd and I'm glad I did. When you start learning, it becomes part of your life. The employees become almost family. You are always in contact with them making and planning flights. At times it might become overwhelming but let me tell you, everyone I have meet at Aamro have been amazing and have treated me like family. I recently completed my checkride as Private Pilot and the CFIs I have had and met along the way at Amaro have been just amazing. Sophia is my go to CFI and I highly recommend her as her personality, experience, and passion for flying is exceptional. Jeffery is another CFI that I have had and when Sophia was not available, he was always there for me as they all were. Justin, who I believe is the manager, but you couldn't tell because he was always making everyone feel like family and as equals, was awesome. I look forward to growing and continuing to learn with Aamro as I feel like it is my home when it comes to aviation. I give Amaro a 10 out of 10 all day! Thank you Aamro for the enjoyable experience and for giving me the skills I have always desired. Sincerely, your friend Frank

Pilot made me feel comfortable and felt that he was very competent. Con: Too expensive. $100 per person. I was lead to believe the ride was going to be at least 45 mins but it was only 20 mins. I got the extra packet that comes with a video. In total I spent $300... And the ride was only 20mins.

Funny enough these individuals use this really big book to log and track flights I haven't been there in a couple of months but if they haven't updated it then yeah. Another one is I'm a pretty experienced pilot and I usually make my own go or no go calls, On multiple occasions I schedule to rent after hours because that's when I'm usually available and the keys are not in the lock box as prescribed by the owner and whenever I went inside to complain about it the following day, he would say well you haven't seen the winds. It's not the fact that he was a little rude with his response I would've just have appreciated a call or some type of notice that he doesn't feel comfortable with individuals flying his plane with the winds being strong if they even were strong.
