Pack a lunch. My appointment 11am.Checked out at 3:30pm. I called office a few weeks after appointment, put on hold. I was about 15 minutes away from office so when o hold I drove there. I went in,still on hold. No one waiting in waiting room. A woman working,only person behind reception desk area was standing at copy machine making copies. I was still on hold ,had my phone in hand. She saw me and ignored me. I said hello and she replied, " I'll be with you in a minute " acted annoyed by my presence.i stayed polite. After her making copies and still leaving me standing I asked if I could please get a print up of my diagnosis from my last visit,tome date.... She said yes and it cost 30.00. I asked how can that cost 30.00 when she can just print it up? She said ,that's what the charge is. I said nevermind I'll just get one from my primary Dr that they sent it over to her. She shrugged shoulders. I said ,as I held my phone up " I'm on hold on your office phone ,I'd called 25 minutes ago and you put me on hold and STILL on hold as you do this and you don't even see what you could help me with real quick and just leave the phone on hold". I said ,I was in office 2 weeks ago for 11am appointment and sat and didn't check out until 330 pm. 15 minutes tops with the doctor. That's 4hours 15 minutes waiting.Then you put me on hold and I drive out here and see what you're doing and you treat me like this? I will NEVER EVER step foot in that office again. I felt I was listened to and vindicated not disregarded as many experiences with other providers in the past.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Had Dr. Taraji or whatever his name is for about two months for the sole purpose of needing certain imaging to diagnose or rule out a diagnosis. I made this clear at every appointment that I needed this and he led me on to believe he'd order it after I did physical therapy. Well, I did the physical therapy and then he tried gaslighting me to believe the imaging I need doesn't exist and refused to do any further imagining on me. I have mosaic Down syndrome by the way. We commonly have cci and aai which can lead to Chiari malformation or issues like a tethered cord. He looked at me like I was stupid. He only did a cervical X-ray with flexion and extension which wasn't even done right they only did the flexion and extension of the lumbar spine and told me "it all looks great" sir it wasn't even done properly so NO WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE ATLANTOAXIAL JOINT LOOKS. I drove 2 hours to an appointment, only to wait 2 hours just for them to tell me that it was up to me if i wanted to still be seen or not.... Wtf? And on top of all of that, i paid a "$70 balance" like what am i paying for? Each visit I've had only lasted 20 minutes and not once did anyone check my vitals ... I'm so confused. I have Medicaid and Medicare and They said I had no Medicaid anymore and I called about it and they said it was activated but on their computer they don't have that I have Medicaid the person that told me that was rude they made it look like I just didn't want to pay 49.46. They want I paper that's says I have it, I was tired about didn't want to argue, I had my hearing ad on and I heard them talking making it look like I just wanted to pay and that's not true and when I show them that paper they have to give me my money back. I had an appointment with Dr. Tarakji and I must say after numerous other neurologists, he IS the absolute WORST I have EVER dealt with. Not only was he very rude, but he did NOT listen to anything I said. I told him what meds help my severe migraines and that others absolutely did NOT work whatsoever & I have a heart condition as well. Out of the 3 meds he prescribed all 3 caused damage to the heart. UNREAL! To top it off he gave me two shots in my head & when I asked what they were, he ignored me & never told me the name, also he never even told me what the side effects were or what I'd feel like, so needless to say on my way home, the whole entire right side of my face and head went completely numb. I'm talking total loss of feeling completely. I was so scared and it gave me an anxiety attack. Now back to the RX's he prescribed, not 1 of the 3 were covered by my insurance. Even though the ones I recommended were covered by my insurance, they've also helped me since I've began suffering with migraines, also I want to mention the Rx's I recommended were NOT controlled nor were they narcotics, so he without a single doubt didn't care whatsoever about my pain nor me as a patient/person. When I finally got home & my half head/face was completely numb, I called this office & he left at noon. WOW! What an inconsiderate supposed "doctor". PLEASE PLEASE Do NOT waste your time nor book ANYTHING with this man. I promise you will regret it 100%. The girls that work in this office need to find different jobs because they all seem miserable. I observed rude treatment of patients, long wait times and a waiting room that is packed. Even so, a little kindness, even a smile would go a long way by the staff. No one wants to be at the doctor. Especially a neurologist. The wait here has been horrible! WE ARE ONLY HERE FOR TEST RESULTS!! Terrible!!! They keep saying it won't be much longer!! Large waiting room but there are too many people here. I know there are several negative reviews out here for this dr's office, but you have to be careful of which dr they are talking about. I agree there are a couple drs at the practice that I wouldn't give the time of day, but Dr Sbei has taken very good care of my husband who suffered a mild stroke in October of 2017. When he's needed to be seen, they have always gotten him in. As far as the wait time, some days it is long, but some days it's short, just like any other drs office. I've never seen a neurologist that is worth anything having no wait time. The staff have always been friendly and ready to help. The only issue I have is with how long it takes the dr to fill out paperwork. You have to give at least 3 weeks to a month. He sees patients M-Th and does paperwork for all his patients on Friday. Today was our first experience with FNC and with Dr. Sabbagh. He was very easy to talk with, and both my husband and I were comfortable answering his questions and very impressed with how thorough his examination was of my husband. However, we were not happy with the treatment we received from a staff member, namely Tara at the back reception desk. She was very abrupt and impatient in her dealings not only with us, but also with two other patients that we observed ahead of us. Since this was our first visit to the Centre, we were not acquainted with policies, procedures, and office protocol, and she did not make it any easier for us. Her answers to our questions were short and snippy, and we got the impression that she just didn't want to be bothered answering any more questions. She exhibited very little compassion and kindness. After we got back in the car, we noticed a form that she gave us that said it required a doctor's signature, which was left blank. I returned to the office to question this, and was told to go back to see her and she would put a "stamp" on it. When I asked her about this, she was again very abrupt and told me that a signature was not necessary. During the course of our dealings with her, she rarely made eye contact, which was also the case with the other patients that she interacted with. We left with mixed feelings about this first visit....very satisfied with Dr. Sabbagh and the technician who administered the EEG but feeling like we were not treated very well by Tara. read more

We took my 87 year old mother on referral, to get results from an MRI. She has dementia, and uses a walker. She had a 10 am appointment and we were on time. They made her wait more than an hour and a half to see Dr. Sbei. My mother said she was unimpressed with him, and will not see him again. read more

My mother had two horrible experiences at this place. First time they made an appt for her after being hospitalized for a minor stroke. The doctor didn't address anything neurological in my observation but gave her an extremely painful shot between her fingers bc he said her hands seemed stiff. The second visit was met with a wait period so long that we left (she was newly wheelchair bound and I struggled getting her there in the first place). The front desk lady was extremely nasty. Mom was assigned to this place because FNC did the rounds at Hurley when she was admitted. Medicare, Medicaid and insurance companies need to look into this practice! read more

I went here to seek treatment for chronic headaches. Wait time was bad, but I can forgive this some since the place was jammed packed with patients. When I finally saw the doctor I was rushed through my answers to his questions. If I tried to add detail to an answer he was already asking a new question. He jammed fingers into my scalp and asked if it hurt, which of course it did. He then gave two shots into the back of scalp. I don't even know what the shot was because there was no explanation, but I think it was a local anesthesia. I was hurriedly led to checkout with a lighting fast explanation of what was going on. Altogether less than 5 minutes with the doctor. I left the appointment with 3 new appointments and 3 prescriptions and absolutely no idea what any of it meant. I've never had an experience like this and was genuinely shook after leaving. I immediately called my primary care physician and had them refer me to a new doctor. This is absolutely the WORST office of all time. I would give them 0 stars if possible. I have never seen or heard of such incompetence. The receptionists are rude and completely useless. Everything is unorganized. Paperwork everywhere. They do not send refills over in a decent time. They had a hard time finding my file in order to fax over my imaging to my surgeon. THEN they sent my stuff to the wrong number! I waited over 8 weeks for that appt to discuss surgery and they STILL did not receive my imaging. I had to physically GO to their office and make them fax it and reschedule the appointment with the surgeon. This was after my husband and I had called 5+ times over the 2+ months. Dr. Sbei asks how you are feeling but he doesn't care. Once you start to explain your recent symptoms he cuts you off and doesn't listen to 10 seconds of it. He's too busy trying to write prescriptions for you than address the problem. He doesn't even make eye contact with you. At 1:20 I went to the front desk to ask why have I been waiting for 2 hours!! The only thing she said "Your next". Whatever, once they call me back, Im sure I would have had to wait another hour. I agree with others saying the wait is long, but you know about the wait ahead of time so come prepared. I brought a book and magazines to pass the time. Dr. Tarakji helped me more than my other neurologist ever thought of. He is very quiet, but he was thorough and very knowledgeable on medications and their uses. I was on medicine from previous dr and it was not helping my pain or symptoms. Dr. Tarakji made changes on my first visit and I felt 50% better after a week and a half. He continues to do testing to determine what is wrong and does not dole out inaccurate diagnosis' just to tell say, 'you have this'. I am a great admirer of his skills and would recommend him to all my friends and/or family. The wait is worth the relief he is able to provide. read more

I definitely will not recommend going to this office. The staff is not friendly rude and do not care about their patients. The drs don't seem to take what they've practiced serious. I was diagnosed a few months ago with MS I scheduled a appointment with the dr whom was treating me at the hospital. They scheduled me with the dr I saw a year before for carpal tunnel. He did not come up with a treatment plan for my MS yet gave me injections for carpal tunnel I went for a MRI i had to remind that dr that I was diagnosed for MS he decide to put me on a medication that's not covered through my insurance so the insurance company I requested more info for the illness and needed proof before sending the medication it's been going on 3 months I still have been waiting. No response I call they say they will call me back do not return my calls I've been having flareups from the MS been in pain nothing no phone call still no medication no results. They do not care about your health they have you waiting in the waiting area for 1 hr and a half for a 15 -20 sometimes in the room for less than 5 minutes of their time the drs do not care about the concerns of the patients and only want the insurance money. The wait times used to be much better but over the last year they have progressively increased. The last 2 times I've had to call for a refill it has taken a week to get called in.
