The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. I asked how much the spring repair would cost; I was told $249. I then asked if the technician was a contractor, and he explained he worked for PD but was paid by the job. I then asked what the final price would be for replacing the spring on a single door (9'x7'). He then gave me a total price of $522. I then explained the I had a spring replaced at my other house for $225. His demeanor changed and he started talking about OD. He said I would call PD out after to fix what OD messed up. He also said that OD makes their own springs insinuating that OD springs were inferior.
