We dropped in for a drink and to watch the sunset. We stayed for dinner and we're amazed at the quality of the food. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and my wife had the chicken quesadilla. Amazing quality! My only complaint would be to get some local craft beers on tap. I don't go on vacation so I can drink Sierra Nevada pale ale or a Michelob ultra light. September 19, 2022 and 7 of us went for a late lunch. The view is great (lots of pictures posted by others). Unfortunately, the beers on tap were not available as they're having a problem with the kegs. My guess is the Co2 tank/regulator/lines need repairing. The Sheridan sunrise was not too sweet. And there is a full bar, cans of beer, sodas, and tea available. The chicken quesadilla, fish tacos, shrimp quesadilla are good (all the various toppings are available on the side). The smash burger resembled two huge meatballs. No way to be able to stack them and eat them. The flavor was fine and mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, are on the side. The fries are tasty. Would love to give this place a better rating. The male bartender (never got his name) was more than generous and a pleasure to be served by. Nicole on the other hand, was not. She seemed annoyed to serve anyone. She avoided us when we needed to order food for over an hour. OkThursday night, we waited over 45 minutes before someone greeted us. Do not get the fries, go get fries at Pelicans. Better yet, just never go to Flip Flops and go to Pelicans instead. Just make sure you order dinner before 6pm because their kitchen shuts down wayyyyyyyy to early (Pelicans). They couldn't put in an entree at 6:15pm. I stayed at the Sheraton Resort for a conference (So nice to get out of the cold for a few days!!). It is a very nice hotel, with beautiful grounds, and it is a lovely location to kick back at a conference. The Sheraton has a fantastic bar called Flip Flops right on the water, perfect for watching the sunset. The food and atmosphere was festive. I had a Margherita flatbread the first night and I had so much fun I came back the second night even though I'm not usually a stay-in-the-hotel kind of person. Flip Flops is a really nice place to visit with other guests and take in the spectacular view. The staff is great and the manager Arielle is a gem. She was very friendly and helpful... And makes a delicious Strawberry Basil Mojito!! read more

Five stars. The chili cheese burger is AMAZING. It's nicely cooked, not over or undercooked. I'll admit, i wasn't expecting much from a pool bar but this exceeded by expectations greatly. Great service, I sat at the bar and the bartender was as friendly as can be (his name was JD). The view of the pier and pools is great. Though the menu is limited the food is good. Went Saturday 9/30 about 2:30PM for lunch...one guy sitting at the bar already had his food and drink, four girls just paying their tabs and leaving. My friend and I sat at the bar, in front of us was a dirty ashtray, an empty beer bottle, crumbs from food, and some BBQ sauce or something on the bar. After 10 minutes of NO SERVICE a waitress walked behind us and said, "Do you want something?" As if we would be sitting there if we didn't....a menu perhaps? the bartender put two menus down, on the filthy bar..I asked can you clean up this dirty counter? He pulled a filthy sopping wet rag out of somewhere, did a fast swipe across the counter, pushing the crumbs onto me, leaving the swamp water on the counter in front of us and missed the BBQ goop completely. Left and will not return. Horrible service, I'm calling the Health Department.... UPDATE: I spoke with the Food and Beverage Manager and he couldn't have been nicer, he promised to address the issue and he is eager to fix any problems in order to make the Sheridan, and it's events bigger, better and highly desirable experiences. read more

Went last week on Tues for drinks and it was very nice. Had guest in town Sat night 7:00 PM so went to Flip Flops and what a bad experience. Served wine and martinis in a plastic cups. Asked server why the plastic and she said I just bring what bar tender gives me. Then said I think he does not have any glasses clean. I assume just lazy. Place was not busy and I think I see why. Table next to us heard conversation and expressed disappointment as well. So we had one drink and left. read more
