The views are great. The breeze blows thru the open concept bar, giving you a really unique experience. This rooftop bar is not exactly on the roof, but it is actually positioned on the 5th floor of the Indigo Hotel. It is open, and whatever weather conditions are, you'll be subject to them. There are some table seats against one corner. The best spots are the bar or high top tables alongside the balcony rail. Food is priced in par with what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant. Drinks are made well, and I have never had a weak drink here. Food could take longer than you expect but rightfully timed being such a small kitchen for such a busy spot. We visited this bar last Friday with a large group and had a reserved table for 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. It took nearly two hours before I was able to get a drink. When I went to the bar to order one myself, I was told to return to my table and wait for my server, who would come by when she had time. It was obvious that the two staff members working were completely overwhelmed and that the bar was significantly understaffed. Although our reservation was at 6:30 p.m., I wasn't able to place my dinner order until around 9:00 p.m., and my food didn't arrive until approximately 9:30 p.m. Whenever multiple people from our table attempted to order at once, we were told by the female bartender that she would only be taking one order at a time. Several members of our party were never able to place an order at all, and others became so frustrated that they left to eat at other restaurants. To make matters worse, the area where our group was seated was extremely hot. There was only one floor fan, which was nowhere near enough to keep such a large party comfortable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. While the staff appeared to be doing their best under difficult circumstances, the restaurant was clearly understaffed and unprepared to handle our reservation. While the view of the bay is exceptional, the food and service is definitely not worth the price. The bartender was not personable, did a poor job of mixing drinks and the food we were served did not meet expectations at all. As locals, we were extremely disappointed with the cocktails and charcuterie we were served. Part of the meat tasted rancid, the mozzarella was mushy and not fresh. The grapes had brown spots and some were fully rotten. Would have sent it back, but the bartender was too concerned with the music that was playing and left the bar to go downstairs to have it changed. By the time she returned we were ready to go, paid our bill and left. Terrible experience! read more

First the hotel lobby smells like a perfumery- if you are sensitive to smells (I am) it's really tough on the nose. The view was nice, the service was just OK and the food was not great. I wouldn't go again but if you do go get a drink, take in the sunset and go eat elsewhere. read more

This was our first time there and we have absolutely no regrets. What a beautiful place to enjoy a sunset birthday dinner and cocktails. Alex is a fantastic bartender and server who helped in making our evening even more enjoyable with his friendly and charming persona. The Fried Green Tomatoes were so delicious. His recommendation of the Trout Almondine was perfection itself, as were the East Bay Sunrise and Smokey Paloma cocktails he made. The Muffaletta was loaded with ham and salami and we were able to take home half of it for another day. The Bananas Foster Caramel Cheesecake = Divine. So first I want to say the food was good and the drinks, and the view was great. That was the only positives. For starters it is a smaller menu, they did have non menu specials which was nice. The portions are small for the price, but overall it was delicious. Now for the negatives. Christine was our server. When we showed up with a group of 13 she didn't seem thrilled. Not only did she make several mistakes she was simply rude. One member of our group ordered crab cakes and received the wrong thing. Christine made sure to make it known that she thought she said crab dip several times. The repeat was just unnecessary. We over heard she also put it again in the system wrong the second time. The other notable is the cook brought out sliders and put infront of another member of our group. He went to eat and Christine grabbed the plate and said "nice try" and put it infront of another member of our group. When he confronted her with "what do you mean nice try?" She told him "you didn't order the sliders". He did in-fact order that very same dish, as did the other member of our group. She went back and looked at realized again her mistake. We're not sure if they didn't get put in or if she just forgot. She didn't apologize once. The comments and attitude was very unnecessary. The bartender had to come refill drinks several times, so props to him for going over and beyond. Hopefully the waitress was just having a bad day & wont continue rude behavior to others and negatively impact this place. read more

Had the grill fish of the day and trout for dinner with a beautiful sunset. Amazing atmosphere, staff are so friendly and kind but super busy. Might be helpful to have have one more staff on the floor. The bar is well built in consideration of their customer - they have plugs and handbag hooks under the bar table! We had Giavanna as a bartender and she was awesome. She was super friendly and nice. She made amazing cocktails and was good about menu recommendations. The BBQ chicken flatbread was as good as she said it would be. She recommended coming for the sunset and the beautiful view. Even up there the wind kept it really cool.
