This is a really good spot for working parents to get work in on teacher planning days, weekends etc. I come here for 2-3 hours and my son plays the whole time. They do have video games but my son just plays on the slides etc. nice staff. They have an unlimited membership for less than $30 a month which definitely helps read more

It's a Fun spot for my toddler I do think is a bit small and more ideal for a week day. The food is pricey. And they don't have lockers. So, caregivers with babies have to carry baby bags with them at all times. Also, they don't have much space for strollers. Specially if it's a rainy day - it's definitely a good idea. We saw nice table once for birthday party so we recommended this place to our friends but when they chose this location for their child's birthday it was a nightmare. Nothing was ready and the place was dirty. They actually had to do everything themselves. Like setting up tables, decorations, plates etc. Also, they should have a limit how many kids/parents are allowed inside. Usually it's just overly crowded and too loud. The toddlers area was dirty with food. We had to talk to the manager but she was rude and she did not care to solve any issue. Not sure why she even works there, should be fired. Also, the bathroom was dirty without supplies like soap or paper.. for this type of price (18$) per child is way too much. Shame. We would not come back. The lady at the front desk was very kind but I think more staff was needed as registration took a while with how many people were coming in This location is Way smaller than other Flippos we've been to, especially the toddler area. One thing we had an issue with was that It was extremely overcrowded and they don't reenforce the age limit at the toddler area, so they were a lot of older children in there pushing and taking toys away from babies and toddlers. read more

Needed a secure, relaxing atmosphere to let my son roam and I thought about this new place that just opened. When I came on yelp I couldn't find the prices so here it goes 2 and under - one day pass - $9.99 plus tax 3 and up - one day pass - $15.99 plus tax (eww) 2 and under - one month pass - $40.99 3 and up - one month pass - $59.99 Family pass up to 5 kids - one month pass- $219.99 Luckily my son is 2, so I stayed. Lol They play nice kid friendly music and some awesome tunes for adults. Pretty air conditioned so it wasn't hot or best yet, not crowded. Got to love a place you can walk up to and it not small like moldy cheese and Mildew carpet. Visit Flippos.net. I saw they have 2 other locations as well. I had a beer while I was here, please don't judge. Nice place to bring kids if it's raining and it's too much to hold kids hostage in doors. Plenty of private parking space outside. I want to tell the whole truth about this place. Yesterday I went with my child to a children's birthday party at Flippo's. From the very beginning manager Eugene spoiled everyone's mood. He was very rude, said to remove from the table napkins and disposable plates that we brought ourselves. He said to use only the napkins they put on the tables. He said if you don't like it, take your kids and go somewhere else. We were shocked of course. Also in this establishment if you bring your birthday cake, you have to pay $25 just for nothing, just because you brought your cake ! I don't recommend this place to anyone! Don't go there ! The staff there is horrible ! This place doesn't deserve even 1 star read more

Was visiting family in Miami from Seattle and brought the rain with us one of the days so we went looking for an indoor place where my 5 yr old could Go safely run around. Our hotel was in Aventura and this was very close so we gave it a try. This reminded me of a smaller arcade we had from Arena Sports in Seattle but had never seen a couple things before and my son loved so thats why the 4 star. For me personally Id put 3 because the arcade part can get expensive, the cafe food was eh , and a couple things were out of order but because my son slept good that night from all the play, gotta give a 4. There's a mission impossible style laser game. There were people pulling open the curtain and jumping out so I never actually saw someone complete the game. The play areas are divided and my son went in the back to the older area. Big curvy slides were his fave and the music being played was like upbeat top 40 stuff so I liked that while watching him. Only a couple kids playing at same time as him and parents were carefully watching their kids so I liked that. The time keeper button game in the back was closed off by a bunch of like caution tape so the kids could still see it but not go in which is tough if you're 5! Not sure why it was out of order. The little sports court was awesome for my son who's into Trick shot and harlem globetrotter videos. He felt good being able to make baskets but the hoop still seemed high to me and the balls in here were real basketballs and soccer balls! Saw a kid get nailed by a basketball as we were leaving. Surprised theres not foam or more kid friendly only ones in there. We got some snacks. Mozz sticks and slushee and drinks as the pizza we saw come out didnt look too appetizing. But theres a lot of choices. Arcade i swear we spent $60+ for like 45 min of fun. And the prizes were cheap and nothing exciting. Tickets awarded seemed off for some. Like it seemed there should have been higher value for what you pay for. The parking was easy. We liked passing the huge statue when driving back to Aventura. Not sure if well return as it was a random last minute vaca decision but recommend for a rainy day activity for a toddler. read more

We had celebrated our 2 year old son birthday, all kids and adults had the best time. We had a Mickey Mouse character who made all kids play and dance, great kid! We had a face painting and ballon twisting, and flippos de hippos, great combination. Kids and adult food perfect and enough. Managers and attendants amazing, love the place. Great option to take kids to of any age when the weather outside is horrible. They have sections for all ages and my toddler was absolutely amazed with all of the toys. Check in process was very easy and prices are fair. I did take a star off because some of the toys were either old or missing parts. Flippos is a little gem in the middle of an area where there really isn't much for kids; clean facilities, polite staff, and plenty to do to keep the kids busy for hours. The large jungle gym was sturdy enough to support even my weight- even hanging from the rafters. The slides were fast, and the kids were all having a blast. There were multiple rooms with different games in them; a laser room & another with colored buttons on the walls- plenty more for the kids to explore. The video game room was also just enough- air hockey on a curved table, racing, and crane games that actually pay out on tickets & prizes...it's nice to see kids winning over and over again, the joy of buying tons of points so they can win tickets and get another....slinky (let's see how many hours this one lasts lol). At the end of the day the kids had plenty of fun, clean and safe environment, and even the hippo was fun for them. We will be back, and lulu's next bday may possibly be here too! read more

Very disappointed on how you're not allowed to eat your own kosher food or any other diet restricted foods at Flippo's Hallandale. We had to eat outside on the floor. It doesn't bother me so much, it bothers me more that my kids see being kosher as something not allowed. What if the kid has a nut allergy? even yesterday at Disney on ice, as soon as I said kosher they allowed me to bring my own food. It's a new playground, they had the same one in Planation I believe. The difference between Plantation and Hallandale is that the space for the stair climbing is more for the kids, and adults who have smaller kids can't really easily access the top of the slides. Therefore little ones are on their own and most likely won't use that part of the playground. My 2 year old one is very tall but it was hard for him to get on the stairs and it's very small place for an adult to help baby to climb it. Overall, new and very well kept. The have arcades and my oldest one loved them! Price is pretty ridiculous, should be re-entry allowed after you pay $10 for the kid up to 2 years old and $16 older than 2. This place is nice and clean the only downfall for the money there is not much for the kids to do. The slide area is very small and compared to the one in Fort Lauderdale this place is really small. A lot of the games require additional money. I like the plaza offers parking in the back at no charge. It is a nice place if you want to escape the heat and let your child play in the AC. read more

I am very disappointed from the Halladale beach location. I celebrated my daughters 6th birthday and when I came to the room nothing was ready All I saw was the chairs and tables were stocked up and 6 balloons . I freaked out and started thinking how am I going to this in 10 min before people are arriving to the party. The issue was that only one girl was working so my guests and I had to help her . I had to set up the tables put plates, cups , chairs and balloons . I also need to go get pitchers of water . NO STAFF I can't believe they only had one person ??!!! If I knew I had to do all of that work I would go somewhere else. No forks , no knives, no water , No napkins. Horrible I spoke to the owner Victoria she was so rode and didn't care at all . She thought nothing was wrong and that's ok that I had to do the work . so NO CUSTOMER SERVICE as well. Good luck to them because if they continue like this they are out of business this year . My friends told me they will never do a party there after they saw what I was going through that was supposed to be a happy day and they ruined it :( and charged me full price ! No staff or parent supervision of the 0-3 area. Some older (6+) kid was rough playing with her brother in this area and I had already asked them to be careful and stay away from my baby. Not even 2 min later she fell on my little 7 mo baby. Thank God she was not hurt. I told the girl at the FD and she immediately took the kids out of the area but I don't believe the father was even told of the incident. Those kids should not have been in there in the first place. No apology from the kids parents, No "is your baby ok" from the staff. I can see this place being great for older kids but I definitely don't recommend for kids under 1 yr. My nephew loved it.
