My daughter learned how to swim here so quickly. The instructors are great, and the staff is so wonderful! Highly recommended!

We went with our Grandson for our first visit. It seemed very unorganized and the front desk staff seemed too busy to explain how this process works. Pool staff seemed friendly at first but then totally ignored us - another Grandparent next to me pointed out their grandchildren (two girls) sitting alone at the end of pool with no instuctor. We left after 45 minutes with no lesson - they forgot to put our name on the roster. Funny they got our name right when we were paying for the six week class. We enrolled our daughter in swim classes since she was 6 months old and have been extremely happy with her two instructors, Mrs. Nancy (6mo -2 yr) & Mr. John (2-3.5, current). Both have great with our daughter and their knowledge and experience is evident in the instruction. Mr. John picked up where Mrs. Nancy left off, and our daughter's swimming abilities have continued to improve and she's becoming a confident little swimmer. Jon is hands down the best instructor!! He really makes the kids comfortable in the water and finds a way to captivate their attention. My son is almost 2yrs old and has been going to Jon for swim lessons for about 6mo now. He has made so much progress. read more

I would totally give them a 0 star review but I can't. So recently, my daughter moved up to strokes. She had to attend Trinity's strokes class, since she was the only teacher teaching it. And it was HORRIBLE. Trinity, compared to my daughter's previous teachers Samantha and Yvette, treated her differently. She would, instead of the other kids attending, take time to talk to other instructors instead of focusing on teaching my daughter. She would also have a bit of an attitude towards my daughter, being rude when she messed up on a swim or something. Now here's what pissed me off. So, just recently, my daughter was on her second lap and wasn't very good. The teacher, Trinity, seemed pissed. She was like, "Why are you swimming like that?" And such. I was offended. She was trying her best! And yet, she said, "You need to try HARDER! Ok?" Then, one of the instructors she wastes my daughter's time on talking with comes out and said in a loud voice, "YEAH! TRY HARDER!" They were bullying my daughter. I've never had this experience with my daughter's previous teachers. I went to the front desk but they couldn't do anything. The guy just said that I should tell my daughter's teacher. But seriously. Nothing? Trinity also had an incident that I had observed. She yelled at a kid that his teacher left him alone in the deep end and was drowning in the pool. And yet, instead of helping, she just yelled at him saying, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET OUT!" as my daughter was diving. Seriously? How rude and idiotic! I've never had a problem with my daughter's other instructors, in fact, I really liked their teaching method. Even though they may be tired, they were still nice to my daughter! But this lady wasn't like that. So I took her out. I am hoping for the day that Trinity will lose her job or just straight up quit like the teacher who abandoned his kid in the deep end. I am never letting my daughter come back to Floaties Swim School ever again. I wanted my daughter to learn how to swim. Not to become a professional swimmer. read more

My daughter went from not being able to swim at all to swimming the length of the pool in a few short weeks! Granted, she LOVES the water and went for it right away! Alejandra is so great with the kids and was so patient with my super strong willed little girl (who was sometimes more interested in doing her own thing than listening to instructions!). I love that it is indoor and warm so you can do lessons year round. The rest of the staff was also very nice. I think it is well worth the price to feel safer with your kids around the water! read more

My son attended swim lessons at Floaties Swim School-Eastlake. He began at 18 months with Miss Nancy and learned water safety techniques. He then graduated to Mr. Jon to learn proper swimming strokes. Mr. Jon is an amazing teacher. He taught my son proper swim technique in a safe and fun environment. Highly recommend!! read more

My daughter loves the water, so I knew I had to enroll her in swimming lessons. As soon as I found out about floaties, I called with a number of questions and concerns and lindsey was very patient and addressed all my questions thoroughly. The customer service I received was exceptional! I went down to observe the same day, I liked what I saw and enrolled my daughter. She just had her 4th lesson and already has learned so much. She has learned to float, doggy paddle and kick off the wall to swim. All that for a little girl who just turned 3!!!! I can not say enough good things about floaties!!! I love floaties!!!!! I highly reccomend floaties to anyone that is looking for a great swim school! read more

My daughter was very fearless of the water so I felt she really needed to know how to swim and survive around the water. I enrolled her in Floaties in Eastlake in August 2013 and she has been in lessons there with Mr. Jon twice a week since. She is only 4 years old and can swim the entire length of the pool.. Mr. Jon is an awesome teacher that give love and support when she needs it and discipline and strictness while she needs it. All while they both have a blast!! After hundreds of dollars in lessons and many half-hour group sessions, our kid is actually a worse swimmer than when starting there. At a young age the YMCA was a nice start, but there were a lot of kids waiting in the water during the hour-long sessions. In the cooler weather the indoor pool seemed like a great idea, and a friend had success with their son. We had gone to private lessons nearby (10 minute sessions, 10 days in a row), which was amazing. Our 4 year-old went from general acceptance of water, hanging on the side, to jumping in and swimming across the pool (while holding breath). Since going to Floaties, a disdain for swimming has developed, and an actual regression can be seen. We gave it the benefit of the doubt for a few months - our kid was the best student in class and loves other extra-curricular activities, so it's not a matter of being unteachable. It seems to me that making money as much money as possible (i.e. "milking it") is more the goal than teaching swimming. Progress was terribly slow, and still never led to prior abilities. We're giving away the remaining lessons. read more

I stopped by here yesterday while my daughter was playing at Kid Ventures. She swims elsewhere right now, but as soon as our current session is up, we will be switching over to Floaties. I talked to one of the instructors/managers when I stopped by, Jason, and he explained in great length exactly what I could expect with the lessons and how their program would get my daughter over her fear of going under water, which has been an issue where I currently take her and have been taking her. It was nice to hear the strategy rather than just prices like at the other place, no wonder we are making no progress there!! The place is extremely clean and they even have a playroom with lots of games for the kids. We are new to the area but can't wait to get started here!! read more

I took my son 3 year old son twice a week all last summer and all he learned to do was put his head under water. He also cried every time I took him. I felt that the instruction was extremely slow. The location and facility are great, the instructors are nice, but their method didn't work for us. We are now almost done with a 10 day, 10 minute a day program and he can finally swim, plus he loves it. And no crying! read more

My daughter went in for swimming lessons and her first teacher (sorry, forgot her name) was not into giving these children the lessons that us parents are paying for. She kept looking around for whatever reason and not focusing on my child or the other children she was teaching and kept talking to the other instructors and kept drinking her Starbucks cup in the middle of teaching (so annoying). So I asked for another teacher and we got Jon. Jon is really awesome with kids and he's very engaging and gives good constructive criticism, kuddos to Jon. However, there was one time when my daughter suddenly got sick and I forgot to call the school to let them know that she would not be coming in for her lesson and they said they wouldn't give her a make up lesson because I forgot to call beforehand. UGH! Um, aren't I paying for these lessons beforehand? So to me you're basically taking my money. Anyways, I guess they're an okay school, but for the price, the teachers and the staff I'd rather take my money somewhere else. I'm the type of person who likes getting their money's worth and I wasn't getting my money's worth here. read more

I love floaties! My two children have been attending floaties for almost a year now and they are thriving. It's amazing to see their progress! My daughter had no previous lessons and within a few months she started swimming long ways across the pool at 3 years old. My son had a few years of previous swim lessons at a recreation center but that wasn't continuous development like floaties is since they would restart from the beginning each session. With floaties they continually move forward and the instructor teachers each child at the child's pace and skill level regardless of the age and skill levels of the others in the class. I love the 3:1 ratio too so it feels like your child is getting quality swim time with the instructor. During the winter months most times it's even 1:1 or 2:1. My children love their instructors, PJ & Sal, and they look forward to swim lessons twice a week. Thank you floaties! read more
