It used to be so difficult to find a good florist anywhere, especially near my office where Heather's is, but since she opened up almost 2 years ago I have to say she's delivered hands down the best arrangements I've ever given to my gf, and at great value. I was in need of flowers, and any place would do. I walked into Heather's and was greeted right away by a busy-looking woman working in a beautiful garden-like space. I ordered an inexpensive bouquet for a friend, and it was stunning. $26 for one of the best designs I'd seen. I went back two days later for a flower delivery. After Olla's gastown storefront closed, I wandered into Heathers in search of a new downtown go to and am now a devoted customer. Beautiful selection of flowers, the staff put them together in really lovely arrangements (I get so mad when you spend $50+ on a terrible arrangement of loud coloured daisies and baby's breath, blech), and the price point is very reasonable for very full bouquets. And to top it all off the staff are SO LOVELY. Friendliest, sweetest ladies. I walked in yesterday with a budget of $20 and they made me a very elegant bouquet with snapdragons and white lilies and enough filler that it looked like way more than a $20 investment. Bonus: one time I went in with a dying plant and they taught me how to set up its drainage and hooked me up with new soil and lava rocks for free. read more

I was absolutely, genuinely blown away by this establishment. I wouldn't say that my standards are anything short of high, and there is no question that this will be the only store I purchase flowers from for as long as I live in this beautiful city. To say that I know nothing about flowers would be an understatement, and when I was in a rush to find something specific Heathers saved my life. A nice young lady named Chelsea answered the phone and immediately began offering me solutions to my predicament. When we realized that they didn't have the certain flower I needed in stock she took down my name and number to call her boss and inquire when they would be able to get some in. Expecting a call back several hours later, I was pleasantly surprised to hear back within five minutes with good news. Not only did Chelsea save my skin, but also explained some of the basic elements of the flower-purchasing-process to me, which is honestly far more complex than I anticipated. All in all, this store has some of the most friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff of any small business that I have shopped at in recent years. Thank you Chelsea (and Heather)! read more

I've been to Heather's on several occasions to get flowers for my wife. Every time I go, she creates a unique and beautiful bouquet for a very reasonable price. These are by far the best bouquets I have seen and my wife absolutely loves them. Be warned, once she gets flowers from Heather's, your wife will likely be disappointed if you get them from anywhere else. Each time I've went, I asked her to create me a custom bouquet and five or so minutes later she has put together something incredible. The bouquets also seem to stay alive 3 times as long as the bouquets from other florists. As you can tell, I have a million positive things to say about Heather's and I owe her big time for making my wife Happy! read more

I was speaking sign language there since English wasn't working. I appreciate the effort however price was on the high side with the single stems of rose I got. The arrangement of flowers was 4/5 but the wrapping, not as good as a lot of places I've been to so 2/5. Wish them success! Quite honestly, this is the best flower shop I've ever been to. From the amazing arrangements, the great service, and the cute little shop in Gastown, I would never get my arrangements from another shop. Unfortunately, I don't live in Vancouver anymore, but I still contact Heather to order flowers for my boyfriend who still lives in Vancouver. Every order I've had for Heather has been amazing and she's met all my specifications. Each time, I've asked her to make me an arrangement for around $25 (which is usually less than she normally does), and they are always BEAUTIFUL.
