3/25/25 Incredible Service & Peace of Mind!…read more Back in late February 2025, we had a nightmare situation--our water heater unexpectedly failed and flooded our entire basement. Water was everywhere, and we had no idea where to start. We called Disaster Professionals, and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish! They arrived quickly, assessed the damage, and immediately got to work extracting the water and drying out the space. During their inspection, they discovered an ongoing mold issue that we hadn't even noticed. They walked us through the entire process, carefully removed the affected drywall, treated the area, and replaced everything so it looked as good as new. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and truly cared about making sure our home was safe. I can't recommend Disaster Professionals enough--if you ever find yourself dealing with water damage or mold, these are the experts you want on your side!

These guys arrived promptly, the staff were intelligent, knowledgeable, and well presented. The cleanup took a few hours, and then they left San's to do the work for two additional days. I am extremely pleased with this company and recommend it.

It's hard to know whether or not to trust online reviews anymore, but with these guys I decided to…read moresee what all the glowing reviews were about. Turns out: they're about a truly great company, with cheerful, supportive technicians--and MAN their communication is *killer.* They were prompt by both phone and text, kept me up-to-date on when I could expect them to arrive, talked me through every single step of the process, and didn't talk to me any differently than they talked to my husband (which, unfortunately, is all too common with technicians, I've found). Our story: we had a puddle of water in our basement after a recent thunderstorm. Glenn and Ryan showed up within an hour, calmed our nerves, helped us inspect our home, cleaned up the mess, and left us with some fans to dry out the room. Their prices were reasonable, and they came back today to pack out the fans, exactly as they'd promised. In short: at every step of the process, they knocked it out of the park. All these glowing reviews you're reading? It's not a scam or some kind of marketing ploy. It's a reflection of a really exceptional company who is actually *enjoyable* to work with.

Seven months after hiring Western Disaster Clean Up for a flood restoration rebuild our home…read moreremains unrestored. We are paying out of pocket to have their work completely torn out and redone. Their own project manager said on recording: 'This is totally my fault -- not the quality of work that we do.' Their own independent assessor confirmed $11,267.48 in remediation costs. Our contractor who originally built this space estimated $16,800 to fix Western Disaster's work. Their final settlement offer: $6,000. The rebuild involved two marble surfaces -- the main countertop and a custom dog feeding station platform below it. Both sustained undisclosed damage. On the main countertop a piece was broken off and reglued and concealed with filler -- confirmed by four independent professionals including Western Disaster's own assessor. On the lower platform their own assessor found an additional crack with what appears to be epoxy applied over debris. The new countertop they fabricated was too large and cut at the wrong angle -- forced into place pushing the cabinet panel over so the pantry door and self-close drawer won't close. The dog feeding station is a custom stacked assembly -- drawer, trim piece, marble platform, dog bowls designed to sit perfectly flush. When Western Disaster acknowledged the work was substandard and sent their own specialist, he said it would take a full day to fix. He returned days later, was on site one hour, and cut down the trim piece as a shortcut rather than correctly rebuilding the assembly. This altered the dimensions throughout causing the bowls to sit proud of the surface instead of flush. Cabinets were installed out of square and unlevel -- complete replacement the only remedy per our cabinet specialist. Sink was reinstalled with two of four original brackets -- one broken, one missing. Sink epoxy incomplete with open voids. Drywall improperly taped. Wrong caulk used on custom cabinetry. An unqualified worker performed four distinct skilled trade tasks and failed at all four. Custom pieces were removed from our home -- surveillance footage shows subcontractor leaving with panel matching that piece. We invited senior management to inspect twice -- no response. They only came after we threatened legal action and only offered to refund our initial deposit of $3,200 - nowhere close to what their own independently hired assessor estimated to remediate their work - $11,267.48. Their final offer of $6000 is still close to only half of that and significantly less that our chosen contractors' estimate to fix the damage they caused - $16,800. We are pursuing DOPL complaints, BBB complaints, and civil action under the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act. This review will be updated with the outcome. We would not recommend this company.

Got a call from their collections gal asking for payment. Funny thing, we got an invoice in our email the same day as they demanded payment. Seemed unreasonable. They never returned to clean up their plastic protective coverings. We threw the stuff away after at least 2 weeks of no cleanup. The project manager was very nice. Probably would not recommend them. I'm sure not every job goes this way. I'm sure some have had good experiences. Just my review.
