My family came in to shop for our bathroom renovation items and the employees all were so helpful. The ones that stood out to us was Luis and Alexis. People drive way out of the way to get there and when you aren't open during advertised hours, that is more than just inconvenient. Shame on you. TRUE STORY....We purchased $6k worth of bamboo flooring, product was delivered damaged 03/21. The delivery company said they would report it and took pictures. I called and was told I could bring it in and exchange it. Here is what you need to know, ANY DAMAGES, refuse the whole shipment or you have to dig to the bottom, as you can see in this picture and RETURN THE WHOLE UNOPENED BOX. Then with the 9 damages boxes I would not have had enough flooring to finish?? I tried to EXCHANGE the damaged pieces because I used the good ones in the box, but they would NOT do that, and will NOT answer or refund my money. It was not an option for me to dig to the bottom at 70 lbs per box or RETURN a full box if only 3 of 16 were damaged. CRAZY!! I am out 2.5 boxes of flooring, very sad. read more

So disappointed with our recent experience with the Arlington location. We've shopped here for years, having remodeled 4 baths, a kitchen and put tile floors in multiple homes. On our recent visit we requested a pallet but we're assured that the tile we were getting would be fine. Three employees loaded our items in the back of our truck but when we arrived at home 5 boxes of tile were broken. When we immediately went back, the manager on duty refused to exchange them. We were picking tiles for 2 bathrooms and were told we needed to have everything picked out and in stock in 1 day due to another company not fulfilling our first order. Feel free to browse through the whole store full of hardwood flooring, tiles, sinks, cabinetry, and pretty much anything for the floors and walls of your home. Pros: the sales people don't pester you about anything if you're just looking around. Cons: it will be a cold day in hell before any employee comes up to you and asks you if you're doing alright or if you need help. This is definitely a store where you need to hunt down an employee if you need the help which might take you a while. I am still recommending this place because when we found Bryant, he was extremely helpful and VERY courteous with us! He didn't seem like he was too busy for us, or trying to rush us with our questions. I really appreciated that. Plus they have every design you can think of for any DIY project you want to do in your kitchen, bathroom, floors or walls. Put this place on your list. read more

We cannot say enough good things about the Designer Christina Schaefer! From beginning to end, she was patient, knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable in the final decisions we made. Just made an online order yesterday the 21st for 39 boxes of flooring , website said they had 71 . Contractor goes to pick it up .. none .. yep .. none . Contractor hands the phone to the guy , he says all he can do is cancel my order and let me reorder it at the dallas store and that we can go pick it up.our selves because they do not do store to store transfers. So they can screw up your projects timeline with false info then do nothing to help fix it . I told the man to give my Contractor back his phone so I can call the store and cancel it since I have no choice but to do it that way , I then call the store 7 times and no ones answers . Way to make a customer feel totally at your mercy with no offers of help ! I have been saving years to do this remodel ! I don't have the money to just reorder the floors at the dallas location before I get a refund from the Arlington one . Also the employee I talked to exact words were " this isn't the first time this has happened and won't be the last " I am literally gobsmacked and so disappointed !! I've recently moved to Texas and have been to this store a few times in the past month to purchase tile. This past weekend I visited looking for ideas to re-do my bathrooms. One of the designers helped me figure out some design options and I ended up with a fabulous combination of floor and shower tiles. accent pieces, and counter tops. I would have never ended up with this perfect combination had I tried to do this on my own.this design supper was free and the guy was really amazing and knowledgeable. I've been to several stores and they do have such a large selection that you can find what you need in one place. I had all my rooms tiled with porcelain wood planks that look and have a feel of wood. I got the grout here that matched using the grout matcher. This place has the lowest prices for tile, (stone and ceramic and Porcelain) and for laminate flooring i have seen in this area. The staff is very knowledgable about their products. They even have a free wood and tile installation class every saturday. They offer delivery, and they have their own installers. They dont sell carpet but they make up for it by have a HUGE selection of everything else. read more

So glad the contractor I hired told me about this place! I was ripping up the old carpet/linoleum and putting in tile and laminate throughout my house, and doing it all at once, so I was really watching my budget (but still wanted quality materials). This store has a huge selection of everything at lots of different price points --- but almost every option was much cheaper than the comparable option at Homes/Depot. Like, a full dollar per square foot less in most cases. The laminate I originally picked out and had delivered turned out to have some serious flaws in each box, which my contractor discovered after he started to try installing them. It looked fine to me, but apparently there was a defect that would've affected how they could be installed. Anyway, I drove back to F&D worried about how they'd handle this (since almost all the boxes were open already), but they promptly processed my return and helped me pick out a new laminate. (Thankfully no problems with the new type.) read more

Good selection and inspiration. Prices don't seem much cheaper than other places but it might depend what you're in the market for. Don't bother with their "classes." We attended one that was supposed to be for flooring - it started 20 minutes late and consisted of watching a promotional video that had already been playing in the background and the staff said they would answer any questions after. Nothing hands on or any demonstration. Unless you have no internet access, computer or smart phone, there was nothing you couldn't easily and more thoroughly learn about online so don't waste your time!! read more

I like this place. They are always willing to help and the prices are very reasonable. I tried to find some samples and the lady suggested that I get them from online. I couldn't find what I was looking for but someone reached out from corporate with some other suggestions which they sent me on their own dime. I found one out of those samples and the project is on. Today, my husband and I went to Floor and Decor in Arlington, Tx to purchase enough tile and supplies to cover 220 square feet. Thankfully, we met Brian St. John, a sales associate there. Not only did he load all of the tile and supplies, he pulled the very large cart to the checkout counter for us and then all the way to our vehicle and loaded it in the truck for us. He was so helpful in figuring our how much tile we needed as well as how much thin set. When we return to Floor and Decor, we will certainly ask for Brian! I called Friday 2-21-20, and was very lucky to speak with Ruby. I was looking for SKU# 100269232, as I was looking to add this to my wall plus on the back of my kitchen island which faces my living room. Arlington was the only store to show any in stock. I wanted to make sure before I drove all the way from Garland. Ruby asked if she my put my on hold so; she could put her hands on it to confirm it was in stock. She came back on the line, and provided me with all the details I needed to know. I went to the store Saturday morning. I brought back some of the backsplash tile that I bought in Plano as I'm now using SKU# 100269232 on the back of my kitchen island. Olivia at returns was just as incredibly helpful and friendly as Ruby. Tye helped us through the entire purchase. The line when we got there was long, but Tye was on it to help Olivia trying to reduce the line right away. He made calls to the pro desk for assistance, and Evan even came up to help Ruby with returns. The line immediately disappeared! I was completely impressed with how Tye was controlling the situation. Olivia was awesome walking me through my entire return, and then turning around to help me with the purchase of the square footage of SKU# 100269232 that I drove out to Arlington to buy. I wanted to make sure Tye knew how helpful Ruby was on Friday on the phone. Then come to find out I saw Ruby on the name tag of a girl walking through the store, and I wanted to personally thank her. She was actually trying to locate my material. She found it, Tye helped us load it up on the cart, and we were out the door. I don't really write too many reviews if ever at all, but I wanted to make sure I expressed the great customer service I received at Floor and Decor in Arlington.
