I went to the Fresno store yesterday to purchase some flooring. When I pulled up to the loading area, I discovered I had a flat tire. It had not been a good day and this made it worse. I don't know how to change a tire and I'm a 70+ year old small lady with no arm strength. As I'm flustering about trying to figure out what to do, a store employee, Alfonso, stepped up and said he would change it for me. He had it all done in a few minutes. Wow! There was so much to look at! The selection and organization of the store was fantastic! We are in the middle of remodeling our home. We have been shopping around for flooring. We found some at another store and someone suggested that we look here before we made our purchase. They have a lot of different colors and reasonable prices. they were actually pretty competitive to what we were going to pay. We ended up buying somewhere else because it was about 10 cents more per square feet here. Plus they didn't have the exact color I wanted. For my next project I would definitely come back to look and consider to purchase. The only thing was that no one offered to help us. We didn't get greeted either. We went in, and no one offered to help us. Employees were standing around the registers talking to each other. Once we found what we wanted, we had to hunt someone down. Once he came to help us, he told us it was out of stock. He didn't offer any alternatives or options. He just turned away while my husband and I were debating on what to do. The next day (today), we decided to buy what we wanted online. We went to pick it up at 330 and checked in. After waiting 2 hours, my husband got down to ask about our purchase. There were 2 guys inside looking at my husband than at each other. They got a 3rd person, and eventually, the third younger guy came to help us. Our product was right by the door. The service here was so unprofessional and unwelcoming that I would never come back. I don't recommend this place, find somewhere were customer service is provided. read more

Yes they have tile. Big selection. Big and small. But what impressed me is the grout/inserts/trims/trowels/etc, the selection is pretty extensive. I've always had to order the special metal trims for the borders of tile. The big box stores always have one piece short of not the exact one I need. They are all there. Every color and size and shape you can imagine. That is nice. The staff are helpful and friendly. For once (post covid) there was a nicely staffed business. read more

I found the staff to be very unknowable of the products they sell. When asked about a product availability the answers proved to be incorrect they did not know the availability or the location of the product in the store, the cashier on duty at opening caused me to wait for almost 15 minutes at checkout because she did not know how to handle a refund transaction for the person in front of me she didn't seem to care if she caused a time delay. My wife and I really enjoy going into Floor & Decor. There are so many options to see and plenty of items in stock. This is the only location I've been to but they really impressed us. It's a new store to the area but you can tell they care, are working hard, and are building a great team. Just a quick shoutout to a few of the great team members that helped us with our ridiculous needs. Paula was super helpful from the get go. She was helping out a lot of people and did a great job with multitasking. She got our order all set up. Don't forget to slow down sometimes and rest! After we finished figuring out what we needed, Marcus came out from the warehouse with Savannah to help load up our items. Marcus made sure we were safe and provided plenty of muscle. Savannah was a task master and kept us on track. There was a lot going on so they made a great team. Chandra additionally assisted as we made our way around the store. She is a great team member that brings a lot of experience and mentorship. Everyone was super friendly, you all are building a great team! Never coming back to this location again, I drove 5 hours from the Bay Area to pick up something specific and this location was the closest that had everything I need, I asked Isabel for some assistance finding what I needed and she yelled what in my face since I interrupted her conversation, I told her what I needed and she said she would go check to see if they still had it. As she walked away I could overhear her saying to another employee that she gets a thrill off of starting arguments with customers and she hated dealing with customers that don't know what they're doing. I've never been treated this disrespectfully and I left right then and there. I had never been to a floor and decor. My husband and I found ourselves walking into this store after we had a bathroom plumbing issue and needed new flooring. After striking out at other big box stores, we decided to try floor and decor. As soon as we walked in, I was immediately overwhelmed. Floor and decor has so many options that I didn't know where to begin. That's where we met Tony. He ensured us that we'd find what we were looking for, and he was right. After walking in and being overwhelmed, my eyes immediately went to one of their staged bathroom set ups with the most beautiful tile I had ever seen. I told my husband, "that's our tile." Tony helped us build our bathroom around that tile. Tony made the whole process so easy, and we were even able to bring tile pieces to the stages set up to see if they would match. the layout of this store is jaw dropping! it is a huge warehouse, however there are plenty of friendly employees there to assist with any questions you might have. i just purchased my first home and wanted something with great quality at at a reasonable price. my contractor recommended floor and decor for its outstanding collection and reasonable prices that give you more for your money. the value does not decrease here, it is more value for your dollar because it's a more of a wholesale store. i was very pleased with my purchase and returned for more tiles for one of my bedrooms. i went with the brand Canterbury and receive so many compliments from neighbors on family on the appearance and quality of my tile. highly recommend this business. read more

Beautiful store but beware. If flooring or floor supplies are not in stock and you order through the store be prepared to wait up to 2 or more months. We ordered floor on July 1 2021. They had it in stock. However, they did not have 8 pieces of stair noses in stock. It is now September 4 and we are still waiting on the noses while our floor is waiting at the store. Here is what I learned from a store member: If you order online they can pull from any store and ship to you in about 10 days. BUT if you order in person at the store they aren't able to just pull from another store. They have to contact the store that carries your merchandise and most stores don't want to cover shipping or "share", so your merchandise falls through the cracks. I spoke with store manager in person almost 2 weeks ago, Felix Sefa and he assured me it would be taken care of. He gave me his personal business card with his cell number. He called the next day to tell us they found my noses in Sacramento and someone would contact us with tracking information. Two weeks later and we haven't heard from anyone. Excellent customer service from start to finish for my bathroom and kitchen remodel! There are so many options in this store and the prices are great. Jorge and Hilda both helped me with the design and choosing products. Every single detail was thought of and handled. After my project began I ran into some issues with the tile and grout and they still helped to make it right and get what I needed. They even searched other stores to have it shipped. The contractor has no issue picking up the materials. The return/exchange policy was easy and I had no issues. Everyone in the store is so helpful and friendly. All of the associates were great and went above and beyond to help me. I especially love how they help you out to the car and load everything for you. Update: I received a phone call from Joseph with customer service who appeared to be interested in my story. I explained how the pellet broke while the tile was being loaded into my truck & scratched my truck, then how after filing a claim I was told by claims that the store had no record of my 2nd purchase. After providing proof of my purchase they said the pellet did not break and there was no video. Eventually after watching the video they denied my claim and blamed it on me. Well Joseph sounded like he sincerely wanted to make things right & asked that I get an estimate of the damages as he could possibly do a store refund. He said he would get back to me in 48hours. I got the estimate which included the dent from dropping the tile in the bed but I had the auto shop list out damages since we only talked about a partial refund for the scratches. Well after a week of not hearing back I reached out to Joseph who said he forwarded the claim to the insurance department because the amount of the estimate was over $1000. I explained that damages for the scratches were listed separately and he said he'd call me the next day because I called his personal cell phone and he was on vacation. All this after I waited on the line because his burger order was not correct & I could hear him cursing. My thoughts were what a great example of the person in charge of customer care. Anyhow never heard back & Joseph really should have never reached out to me only to give me false hopes. The way this company works is crooked. This is a huge company in which a small unfortunate accident occurred but they made no effort to even partially rectify the issue. read more

I would like to thank the staff at Floor & Decor Fresno Store for their assistance in helping me select new flooring materials. I was looking to replace my LVP flooring with Porcelain Wood Tiles. Manager Fabian Gomez was incredibly helpful in directing me to Sales Associate Carlos. Both Fabian and Carlos are very professional. They both demonstrated caring to me as a customer. Associate Carlos was able to direct me to the correct materials needed to replace my flooring. He took the time to review the differences in tiles. He also explained the differences in Mortar and Grout materials needed. It was clearly evident that Carlos has a strong dedication to his customers and he is incredibly knowledgable. I recently had an experience at Floor and Decor that was a mix of highs and lows. Jorge, one of their staff members, deserves special recognition for going above and beyond to make our visit worthwhile. He truly saved the day and is the reason we continue to give our business to Floor and Decor. Jorge's expertise and dedication were evident from the moment we approached him with the numerous issues we encountered during our visit. Not only did he listen attentively to our concerns, but he also actively worked to find solutions. His keen eye for design was an unexpected bonus, as he offered valuable suggestions that greatly enhanced the overall aesthetic of our house. Jorge's personalized assistance made a significant difference in our shopping experience. On the other hand, I must express my disappointment with Meghan, another employee at Floor and Decor. She exhibited a level of rudeness that was both surprising and disheartening. Her condescending attitude was one of the reasons we seriously considered returning all the material we purchased. It's essential for every team member to uphold a certain level of professionalism and respect towards customers, and Meghan fell short in this regard. Furthermore, the receiving department at Floor and Decor left much to be desired. It took over 2.5 hours for them to load 5k sq ft worth of material even after we had a scheduled appointment time. This was also done in the sweltering heat on the side of the store (requiring more work for all parties) as the workers refused to ask shoppers to move their vehicles who were parked in the loading dock area who weren't loading anything. Their lack of organization led to missing several tile pieces, and to our dismay, we were given the wrong type of tile and even blamed by Meghan that it was our fault. This incorrect broken, or missing tile caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration during what should have been a straightforward process. Additionally, Meghan's derogatory comments about the number of orders we had placed and the amount of money we spent were uncalled for and only added to the negative experience. In addition to Jorge- Mia, Don, & Anna have also always been very helpful. My experience at Floor and Decor took an unexpected turn when Store Manager Justin and the exceptional assistance of Jorge stepped in to salvage what could have been a complete disaster. Initially, due to various issues with the products and the behavior of some staff members, my frustration reached a tipping point, and I was on the verge of returning all the materials and seeking alternatives elsewhere. However, just when it seemed like our business with Floor and Decor was beyond repair, Justin, the store manager, stepped in to address our concerns. His proactive approach and willingness to listen attentively were a breath of fresh air. He took the time to understand the problems we encountered and reassured us that he would do everything in his power to make things right. Having a store manager who genuinely cares about customer satisfaction can make a world of difference, and Justin proved himself to be that kind of leader. In conclusion, while Jorge's exceptional service and design expertise make us want to continue supporting Floor and Decor, Meghan's rude behavior and the disorganization in the receiving department are areas that require immediate attention.
