I recently had an experience at Floor and Decor that was a mix of highs and lows. Jorge, one of their staff members, deserves special recognition for going above and beyond to make our visit worthwhile. He truly saved the day and is the reason we continue to give our business to Floor and Decor. Jorge's expertise and dedication were evident from the moment we approached him with the numerous issues we encountered during our visit. Not only did he listen attentively to our concerns, but he also actively worked to find solutions. His keen eye for design was an unexpected bonus, as he offered valuable suggestions that greatly enhanced the overall aesthetic of our house. Jorge's personalized assistance made a significant difference in our shopping experience. On the other hand, I must express my disappointment with Meghan, another employee at Floor and Decor. She exhibited a level of rudeness that was both surprising and disheartening. Her condescending attitude was one of the reasons we seriously considered returning all the material we purchased. It's essential for every team member to uphold a certain level of professionalism and respect towards customers, and Meghan fell short in this regard. Furthermore, the receiving department at Floor and Decor left much to be desired. It took over 2.5 hours for them to load 5k sq ft worth of material even after we had a scheduled appointment time. This was also done in the sweltering heat on the side of the store (requiring more work for all parties) as the workers refused to ask shoppers to move their vehicles who were parked in the loading dock area who weren't loading anything. Their lack of organization led to missing several tile pieces, and to our dismay, we were given the wrong type of tile and even blamed by Meghan that it was our fault. This incorrect broken, or missing tile caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration during what should have been a straightforward process. Additionally, Meghan's derogatory comments about the number of orders we had placed and the amount of money we spent were uncalled for and only added to the negative experience. In addition to Jorge- Mia, Don, & Anna have also always been very helpful. My experience at Floor and Decor took an unexpected turn when Store Manager Justin and the exceptional assistance of Jorge stepped in to salvage what could have been a complete disaster. Initially, due to various issues with the products and the behavior of some staff members, my frustration reached a tipping point, and I was on the verge of returning all the materials and seeking alternatives elsewhere. However, just when it seemed like our business with Floor and Decor was beyond repair, Justin, the store manager, stepped in to address our concerns. His proactive approach and willingness to listen attentively were a breath of fresh air. He took the time to understand the problems we encountered and reassured us that he would do everything in his power to make things right. Having a store manager who genuinely cares about customer satisfaction can make a world of difference, and Justin proved himself to be that kind of leader. In conclusion, while Jorge's exceptional service and design expertise make us want to continue supporting Floor and Decor, Meghan's rude behavior and the disorganization in the receiving department are areas that require immediate attention. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure consistent and positive customer experiences in the future. read more

WOW! The selection and pricing is amazing. If you're still buying at the big box hardware store you're missing out. Huge selection, new and different styles, great pricing, well laid out, they have everything you need to complete the job IN STOCK! No more ordering and waiting around for things to come in. Now for the best part. Felix and Luis helped me from start to finish! I offered to help put things on the cart and the were like "No" we'll take care of this for you. Followed me up to the register until I paid and loaded it in my car. These two were professional, friendly and made an honest effort to carry on a conversation. This is what service should be!! We purchased shower wall tiles and bathroom floor tiles from here. The floor tile we chose was a black hexagon, Adessi brand. Looked great. Price was good. Once the contractor began to install, the joints were all over the place. Turns out the tiles themselves had 2 identical widths, and one that was about 1/16" longer. They were able to make it work with bigger joints. But beware of "seconds" being sold here. Additionally, the shower wall tile we purchased was a 3x12 matte white subway tile. Well, when the store assembled the pallet, apparently they included a gloss white box. Those were mixed in and accidentally used on the shower. They had to all be broken off and replaced. Floor and decor told me, that there is nothing they can do because we used the tile. THEY loaded the pallet. This mistake was squarely on the shoulders of the store, and they are now telling me I have to eat the cost of their mistake. The manager of the store would not even come out to discuss it with me face to face. I got to listen to them tell me this over a walkie talkie. Super professional. The customer. The former customer. I do NOT recommend anyone go here for tile, or anything for that matter. Spend the extra money and go to a professional shop. read more

Great customer service and knowledgeable staff. We purchased flooring that was going out of stock, there were 36 boxes in store and we purchased all of them. Our installer told us we may be a little short and would need an additional box to finish the stairs. A little panicked I returned back to the store to see if maybe there was a box hiding somewhere. Justin greeted my family and checked stock but there was none in Fresno and the closest store with our flooring was in San Leandro. Thinking out of the box I asked if we could possibly use the display, Justin said he would check and asked for the display to be taken down. It worked! Justin was awesome and saved us money and time. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we left with a smile. Thanks Justin! read more

We had the pleasure of being greeted by Tony who referred us to Felipe, who absolutely made my day. After looking for flooring for months, I'm not sure if I fell in love with the floor or just the welcoming and knowledgeable spirit of Felipe. Either way, we look forward to having our work completed as soon as possible by Floor & Decor. I could not be more impressed. Awful. Just awful. Ordered LVP for our home 4 weeks in advance as suggested by the store. Ordered the square footage amount suggested by the store. They had issues delivering our material that pushed our project back 2 weeks and delayed my contractor so much that the excess we did have we couldn't return because it was outside their return policy. No refund, no store credit, no service, absolutely useless. read more

This whole place is full of helpful employees. They really do go above and beyond to help you! I bought 1,200sq ft of tile, hardie backer, thinset and grout. Let me tell you... these folks loaded it all up for me BY HAND (my truck was too small for a pallet). If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Thank you very much guys! read more

Beautiful big showroom and that is about it as far as positives go. We ordered 3 granite slabs. Two matching slabs for our bathrooms and a third nonmatching granite slab for our laundry room. We also included some tile for the shower and tub in the bathrooms. We made our order a full month before our contractor was to do the job. They will NOT deliver granite. So I guess if you do not have a pickup and the knowledge to handle a granite slab you are screwed. Lucky for us our contractor agreed to pick up the delivery. We were told the order would be pulled together and ready to be picked up the next day. We were also told they would hold our order for 14days. At this time we were also informed that one of our slabs was coming from an out of town store. When our contractor went to pick up our order at a later date he was told the granite still hadn't arrived. He returned a second time to pick up the order and not only had the slab not arrived but the backsplash included with one of the other slabs was split down the middle and the last slab we had purchased had a chipped corner. When our contractor arrived they would not release the order to him even though we left his name and contact info with the store and notified them that he would be picking up the order for us. If for any reason we have tried to contact the store to follow up on our order or get our money back from the granite slabs we have gotten the run around on the phone. When our contractor was FINALLY able to pick up the tile portion of our order he mentioned that there is not much stock on hand there. When we did try to get our money back for the granite purchase we had to fight to get money back for all 3. They claimed that we had picked up one of the three slabs and we needed to return it to get our full refund. Thumbs down! Do NOT recommend! read more

I have spent over 10,000 in this store buying material to remodel my home I came back to exchange material that I changed my mind on worth 800 they made me wait over 2 hours for them to tell me no.... remember it was just and exchange the tile I was returning is a very popular one they still sold it and had it in stock all I was asking was for store credit to purchase my new tile different color, the manager I believe her name was Vanesa was the worst she only came in to make this worst her tone of voice and being so defensive definitely worst experience ever would not recommend anybody to come buy from here. read more
