Since our builder used Fresno Shower Door for installation in our brand new home 3 years ago, we naturally contacted them first. But when I contacted them, their customer service was horrible, it was non-existent. They wouldn't even look up my information from when they installed the original door through the builder!!! They couldn't schedule anyone to come out and measure it for weeks and gave me a half-ass quote without installation. They also wanted to charge me to come and measure the door (even though they have records of exactly what door they installed hundreds of times with my builder, based on our model.) I am so glad I found PRECISION SHOWER DOOR!!! I cannot recommend this company due to the fact they had to come out 3 times to install a simple shower door. The first time they came out, they installed the wrong size; the 2nd time they installed the right size (glass door height) but it was uneven (frame was higher on one side than the other; and the 3rd time was to get it done right! Terrible customer service and terrible communications. Measurements were completely way off and ended up chipping off my shower tile. Brad tried to brush it off and said it was just the grout. Overall my contractor had to remove and reinstall the shower door and at the end he told me that the warranty have been voided because my contractor who he was working with removed it. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I called Specialty Glass in Santa Maria and asked for an estimate to fix my shower doors. Their estimate came to over $500 for parts and labor. I thought that was a far too expensive so I called Fresno Shower Door, I knew they had a local representative on the Central Coast. They sent their local technician, Preston, and he had everything fixed in under 15 minutes... and the cost for the service call was only $50!! No parts whatsoever were necessary. This is our second door from FSD. The first was a barn-door type slider four years ago. It's a five star job given the quality fixtures and professional installation. Really has held up well and still looks great. The installation is two doors to cover the 44" opening to the shower. We spent a goodly sum on the shower rebuild, but the doors were the finishing touch that makes it look special. Good tight, even fit. Good product installed right. Fresno Shower Door has the BEST customer service I've ever experienced. I am OCD and needed to have my shower door custom made. Since my granite is Black, the caulking needed to be very precise. Otherwise, it stands out more than ANY color. I expressed my displeasure and although there were some bumps a long the way, they went above and beyond to replace my shower door and provided excellent customer service. They had the nerve to tell me it's not their material and that it may have been sunlight shining into my bathroom through a window that deteriorated a strip on my shower door. Lowest quality work possible - They had to come out multiple times to remeasure the same shower. They have a "take it or leave it" attitude while their work looks terrible. They will try to convince you their corner cutting techniques and lazy application is industry standard. Horrible customer service from top to bottom and completely unprofessional. This place has the most horrible customer service. I am a new owner of the newly built Lennar home, the shower door was delayed for my final walk thru/keys. I was scheduled on a Saturday 1-4 pm and told they will call me 30 minutes before coming out hence I do not live in the property as yet and can be there in 10 minutes. Long story short. Renee the front Sales customer blamed me for missing the appointment at 0930, said they left a call, voice mail, and a sign in the front. I had no voicemail or call from them. I promptly told my story, and the first of my appointment was at 1-4 pm and I said it's not nice to blame the customer. She argued back, and said do you want an appointment or not? She was absurdly rude and unprofessional. Talking to me like she is scolding a child or worst. I proceed to ask to talk to the supervisor, Dillion was able to calm and was able to sort things out with good communication skills. Renee should be fired! I never got an apology from her. read more

This company doesn't even deserve a one star but I could not post without putting one star---so it's one star minus 1. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Their installer who was frustrated while putting in our replacement door did a faulty job and now I have a moldy under floor that resulted from a spewing leak out the side of the shower they sent out their "professional" installers to visits the site and they were all in agreement that it was a faulty install. They appeared to be nice and honest forthright guys....looks are deceiving they are terrific actors. They fooled us to gain our confidence. Right in front of us that stated that it was a faulty install so they lied to us and they lied that they would fix it. What happened to a verbal agreement is just as good as a written agreement? We've waited patiently for 3months. They sent their "counsel" to us with a response that they were retracting the guilt they already admitted to. Do not trust this company nor the owners who had already stated it would be taken care of. My wife went in and spoke with a sales associate. We went over all of the options and we picked out our door and hardware. We were given our paperwork and told to call back in two weeks so they could schedule to have measurements taken. When I called back in two weeks I was told that they are at LEAST three weeks out, and honestly couldn't even make any appointments for the foreseeable future. When I questioned this, I was told they wouldn't have told us to call back in two weeks because they know it's not even a possibility. I was blown away. I told her she did, in fact, tell me in two weeks she could schedule for measurements and she again said she did not tell us that. When I relayed this info to my wife she couldn't believe it. I told the first associate that I spoke with when I called that we were given paperwork with a quote and the lady said they wouldn't have done that because they're not taking any orders. When I described the associate we were working with, she knew who I was talking about and put me on hold. When she came back on the phone she said the girl's name was Sonia, but that she didn't remember helping us or telling us to call back in two weeks. This place is the most unprofessional, disorganized, and frankly dishonest establishment I've dealt with in a very long time. Every single thing I've written here is absolutely true. Google them, you'll see plenty of other folks who had the same issue with this place. I am a local contractor who has used FSD over the years, they have always had poor customer service but like the old saying goes, "How bad does a company have to get before you find a replacement..." So after setting up a time (1 week) to get them to come out and measure (typical time frame) their guy was supposed to take the measurements and pick up the check (which was there) and he didn't take it. (?) I call one week later to find out when the door was getting installed - They were "what door?" Oh the one we didn't get a deposit for? We haven't ordered it! There was some kind of communication problem - Basically telling me to pound sand, not their problem. Like I said, I have used them multiple times over the years and they have been adequate. I am a Farmers Insurance Agency Owner and my clients had an install done in their home. There was a faulty installation and the clients had severe water damage and mold. It was found that the leak was coming from the shower door which was installed 10 months prior to discovery and mind you, the mold was growing long before they discovered it. My client contacted a plumber from A and D leak detection and they determined the leak was coming from the faulty installed door frame. My client then called Fresno Shower Door and they sent out two reps to look at the situation. When they were there they told my client that the door and frame were not installed correctly. My client thought they were going to help him fix the issue they caused, but their attorney only offered them $5,000 to fix it but the damage cost a lot more than that. Then about a week or two later the attorney retracted what he said and stated that he wouldn't pay for any damages. I would not recommend using them as this was very poor business conduction. 5 stars for the finished look! Our wall was quite a bit out of plumb but the estimator made the necessary calculations to hide the imperfection. Can't even tell that the fixed glass is cut at an angle to the wall. Once again, finished look is perfect. Fresno Shower offers a finish to their glass called Diamon Fusion. If you look this product up, it's pretty fantastic. I highly recommend it! Reminds me of a clear coat protectant on your vehicle where the water just beads up and runs off. You don't use a squeegee, just a microfiber cloth they provide for you. Since I hate using a squeegee, I figured I'd try this. So added it to our shower glass for an extra $90. A must have for a quick and easy way to remove the water to keep the glass clean just after your shower. Now here lies the issue I had with this company... After the install, I was looking through the paperwork and the installers were suppose to leave me the microfiber cloth and maintenance package/instructions to care for my Diamon Fusion finish. They hadn't so I called the Fresno Shower and THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE DIAMON FUSION FINISH ON! Wow! SO they had to come back and "super clean" our shower glass that they installed a week prior and apply it then. I understand mistakes happen but my rub with the situation...THERE WAS NOT ONE OUNCE OF AN APOLOGY for the inconvenience! NO "We're so sorry that that happened, that was totally on us, what can we do to make it better?" Horrible customer service at the end (congrats, you get a 1 star here). It was just a nonchalant response of we'll just put you back on the schedule in a week. You seriously just can't start with "I'm sorry?" That's just bad business. I hope the business reads this and changes their approach to situations like these. It goes a lot further with people when you show that you actually care all the way through to the end. Side note...after they came out and applied the finish, I called back and asked for a refund on the $90 just for the inconvenience. He had to discuss it with his manager and 2 days later called me back and said they would. And they did which was nice, unfortunately I had to ask for it instead of it being offered to me. All in all, I recommend this company for a beautiful install. TIP: If you do decide to go with the DIamon Fusion finish (which I highly recommend), just make sure it's on the glass before they install it. read more
