Went to Floor & Decor yesterday afternoon in Paramus. We were looking for waterproof, Vinyl floor tiles. Floor & Decor had many options to choose from and at very reasonable prices. Thank you, David P, for your help when we wanted to know about the difference in waterproof tiles and how to determine the wear and tear of certain materials and longevity. We will be back again if we ever need to look for ideas. There are more options with tile work for kitchens, Vanities, tools and more. Staff was friendly and welcoming. read more

Overpriced for poor quality garbage. And to make matters worse they don't stand by their warranty. Their customer service is a complete joke and they're so-called independent Inspector doesn't have an ounce of honesty in them. I'm so sorry that I chose this company for my floors. Don't make the same mistake I did. The clear coating glaze on the porcelain tile is either so thin or defective that it just deteriorated in big blobs big huge patches and they said it was normal wear and tear in less than two years. Floor and Decor has the most incredible tile selection. I've frequented the store a few times now and I'm always impressed with how large and organized the store is. Is clearly labeled with not only the cost, but where and how it can be used. They also have ample flooring for those looking for fabricated wood. Terrible experience on Thursday, Sept. 18th. I placed an online order for floor laminate early in the morning and went to pick it up. The supervisor, Natasha, was extremely rude. She made up an excuse that the items were "on a high shelf" (not true -- they're on the floor level, I've bought them before) and refused to help. When I offered to grab it myself, she basically told me to go return my order instead. I shop here often for my properties, but being treated this way by a supervisor was disrespectful and unacceptable. read more

Had an easy & delightful time picking out tile for the new kitchen at my place of employment. I was able to pick out tile online and see how it would look with our cabinets. It helped me decide what to choose. I ordered everything, picked up an hour later, and we have a nice new backsplash. I overbought and they took back the extra with no problems, I've never had such an easy return. They don't have a lot of staff right now, probably because of COVID, but everyone who is there is extremely helpful. read more

I will give a zero stars! I purchased floors from different companies and never have a problem like the one with Floor & Decor. Purchased $2500 floor for my house, and one year later the floor started to break!! After speaking with several people, managers Nicholas-Yanira, Andrea, all very unprofessional and rude, I sent pictures of my problems. Took almost 2 months to answer and another month to send someone to inspect the floor. The worse excuse they ever gave was the island was placed on top of the floor, so I called several contractors to come to the house, and they agreed it doesn't make any since the island is small and weighed about the same as the refrigerator or stove??? They don't know what they are talking about! Now I have a dangerous floor where we can't walk without shoes because we could get splinters. I spent all that money here and never will again. I will stick with Home Depot or LUMBER LIQUIDATOR!! I will never recommend Floor & decor to anyone!! read more

Absolutely despicable company. Sold me tiles that were different sizes, an entire 1/4" difference to be exact. Didn't realize until I had 1/3 installed. Opened a claim thinking "they will make it right". They have ceased communication and now I'm left with a half tiled bathroom that they no longer sell the right size for. I've called them dozens of times, the "manager" has yet to call me back after 2 weeks of trying. read more

I came Here today completely clueless as to what I needed to buy in regards to tiles for my bathroom. I need all sorts of tiles. Tiles for The floor, shower walls, bathroom walls, shower floor, grout, and even a bench. The purpose of me remodeling my bathroom from a half bath to a full bath is I am going to have knee surgery in the near future and do not have a stand up shower in my home. Two people went above and beyond for me. Melissa the cashier and Derek who was on the floor. My knee was hurting and I complained a little and they even offered me the cart I could drive around on. Never provide an email to this totally unprofessional and dishonest business. We were asked at check out once for our email address, and since that date get constant nagging emails (with no option to unsubscribe) at the bottom of the emails. We have contacted their offices by phone and chat, and they state they have turned off the email, but they continue to send spam and lots of it. read more

I had the best experience designing my bathroom at Floor and Decor. I set an appointment and luckily got JoAnn Fillis who was amazing. She took my hand drawings and turned them into professional works of art. I could not believe how nice the computer renderings turned out. JoAnn picked out the perfect combination of textures and colors from the wall and floor tile to the vanity and fixtures. She did not miss one detail. I would definitely use JoAnn again and recommend her to anyone that needs help designing a bathroom! read more

The Paramus store did not have some of the tiles we saw on-line. HOWEVER, the designer we saw in Paramus (David Z.) was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. David did many "what ifs" with the layout of our tiles for the bathroom floor, shower walls, and even the honeycomb mosaic for the shower floor (who knew that honeycombs have a vertical and horizontal side?) read more

*review for company in general, not this specific location* We have a steep driveway and got in contact with customer service in advance to let them know. It was confirmed that a smaller truck would be sent. On the delivery day, a large box truck arrived and parked on the street near my driveway. The driver told my husband and I that he "hoped we had a pickup truck" in order to get our delivery up to the house. We explained that we had no way to bring the tiles up ourself or refuse the delivery and then have to pay a second delivery fee to have the issue corrected. He then proceeded to leave two pallets worth of 3400 pounds of tile at the bottom of our driveway where it meets the street and then drove off. He did not help accommodate at all. We were then forced to hire another company to remove the tiles from the street and bring them up to the house. It is totally unacceptable to not complete a delivery when there was notice of the steep driveway and to offer no resolution other than paying for another delivery on an alternative day. I've contacted customer service as I don't feel it's fair to charge a few hundred dollars for delivery to then leave customers stranded. Still haven't heard anything back from them in regards to the complaint. Totally unprofessional read more

This was such a RELIEF! I went to the store in Elizabeth NJ, and was overwhelmed and confused. Martha helped me choose my tiles and showed me how to coordinate and contrast colors and styles for my backsplash. It's a skill I can now use on other projects. I left with returnable samples to test out in my space. I called and spoke to Sylvie and she send me a quote and my order was placed. I would give this place a zero if Yelped allowed it. I had one if the worst experiences at this location in Paramus. I posted other previous negative reviews on Yelp and F&D messaged me but nothing has been resolved. I ordered my floor over 5 months ago and I have yet to receive my order. It has delayed other projects because the floor needs to go in first. Every time I call the store no one picks up and after minutes of ringing I get hung up on. They hardly communicate unless you go into the store and even then some of the people have attitudes and the service blows. They should compensate me to make this right but at this point the only thing I could hope for is people read my post and stay away from this place. I paid thousands of dollars but it doesn't matter to them. read more

Its been 3 weeks and i was just told i won't be getting it for another 2 weeks. Horrible costumer service!!!!!! My entire project has been delayed because of their lies. Floor & Decor has been our go-to spot for all of our project needs. We've purchased a variety of different tiles, wood floors and vinyls. This establishment has a really great selection for every unique interior theme you are working on and to add, their prices are the best around. I specifically want to write this review to highlight their customer service. Feith, an employee here at the Paramus location, took care of us both times. There was an issue with our F&L CC and she was extremely patient and gave us instruction on what needed to be done. She was very kind and professional in the way she handled the problem at hand. Came into the store again today after finding equal to about a box or 2 of damaged vinyl that we had purchased and picked up from store (bought 33 boxes). You can't tell what's in the box until you open it but again, Feith and the customer service team towards the back of the store, helped us come to a solution. Thank you! The refund process at Floor & Decor is very biased and is inconsistent from store to store, person to person. I can't hate but to think that the denial to offer a store credit at the other stores was based on something other than the ambiguous return policy. I explained the situation to manager Tyrone at store 182 and he helped us without any hesitation. Thank you store 182 for training your managers properly and assisting a long time customer. You have a customer for life!!! To the store in Elizabeth, NJ and Wayne, NJ and The Retail Equation- you should be closed for a training refresher on how to deal with customers! The absolute worst customer service that i have ever experienced, from the "heavy set" manager to the "pro customer service" lady to the helpers on the floor. Like no one here gives a sh**t about the customers. It's a very slow Thursday night and there are literally 10-12 customers working around looking for help.
