We bought 1,600 sq feet of tile. When the installers arrived they noticed some of the loose boxes of tile were different. Checked and sure enough they were a different dye lot. Called floor and decor, they couldn't have been more helpful!! What happened was someone transposed the numbers. They gave us 20 boxes of 56 instead of 65. Simple enough mistake. I called and they rectified the situation immediately and even offered to deliver 20 boxes of the correct tile and pick up the incorrect tile!! Thank you Glennis!! Huge help!! read more

I went to Floor & Decor to purchase some porcelain wood look tile for my back patio. There was a 4' x 4' display that looked perfect, so I took the numbers down for the tile & grout & ordered it. Shamika helped with the order since they didn't have enough there, she called Rivera warehouse to make sure I got all the same tile from 1 location. The tile was delivered a few days later, but upon inspection there was some mixed tile colors (a,b,c,d,). Shamika called Riviera & had them hand load the proper ones, deliver & pickup the next day. The tile went down a few days later but upon grouting something looked wrong. I went to the store with pictures of the job & compared them to the display. Come to find out that the grout color in the display & the grout number on the card didn't match. Had to remove & re-grout the floor, with the help of Don & Shamika this got done without extra cost to me. I understand that things go wrong & without getting over excited & mad it all worked out in the end. The store is good looking and it appears to be well stocked. This is my second dealing with them, however, I am very disappointed after placing a large order over $15,000. They are disorganized and seem to have resold my order and did not even tell me, the upsetting part is that this happens specially after confirming with the sales rep. I bought laminate from floor and decor that i painstakingy installed myself.... Within days the laminate started bubbling up in every room... Hired a $450 waste of money inspector that reported it was caused by ""topical water intrusion""... I take that to mean I got my brand new floor excessively wet in every room.... Soooo disappointed with this company... To me it was a lot of money and time I spent.... This is the worst defective laminate in the world... Bubbles everywhere as well as chips and scatches,,,, and I don't even where shoes in my house... I've cleaned the floor with either a damp cloth. Which was recommended or their laminate spray cleaner.... I would highly recommend staying away from them and can't believe I have to live with this. First off I have purchased tile and flooring here many times and have been somewhat pleased. Recently, An employee at this location, an older man named Chris was at first very rude to me when he told me that the item I was looking for was "obviously right in front of me". He seemed insulted when I asked if I could purchase a sample to match instead of an over 12 foot long piece of baseboard. He told me to cut the piece myself then stood over me while I attempted to do so. He became more and more frustrated and even threatened me, making a motion with his fist as if to strike me. I had to walk out of the store and go to lumber liquidators. Is this what floor and decor hires/ tolerates for customer service? This man should not be in contact with customers, it is only a matter of time before he causes a lawsuit. read more

Though the store carries some beautiful products, the customer service sucks. If you can find an employee on the floor, they act as if your bothering them. Don't ask to many questions. Additionally, order online it takes at least 30 minutes to get the order. This past weekend I watched four employees at the register talking for at least 30 minutes while customers were asking for help. Only one person on the floor that was helping while the others talked. He does not return his call. We had and issue of dammage caused by the carrier and we had to pay ourself to make it repaired. She stayed with us the entire time helping us locate stone for our home and assisted us in calculating how much we needed for our project. Absolutely worst design service location!!! You are almost guaranteed to receive the wrong kitchen. As a real estate investor I purchased a kitchen back in November last year for my first property. When I got into my second investment property, I met with the same sales person (Rene) to inform him we wanted the EXACT kitchen from the first project (same finish, model, etc). We had full trust in him that there would be no issues. He designed the entire kitchen with the measurements I supplied and we eventually signed off on It. Once our product was delivered, my contractor started assembling and installing and we realized it was not the same style (we ordered shaker style and received plain white cheap cabinets) so we called immediately. The sales people and managers (Desa) were completely unprofessional and non helpful. They told us the only solution was for us to order a new kitchen and they would eat half of the cost. We spent $4,000 on a kitchen that was incorrect and then they wanted us to pay $2,000 more out of pocket. Because this line is non assembled when you receive it, we even asked if we could just change out the door fronts to a shaker style, but of course the answer was no. We eventually had to have the doors trimmed out to be a shaker style from our millworker so we could sell our property and the kitchen would not look completely cheap. We tried to dispute the charge but the bank told us we had to deal with the store directly. Three months later I have been trying to be civil with the store and not point any fingers but we got nowhere. Today I asked if they could help us out with any type of credit seeing how we were now $5,500 into this kitchen, they confirmed they will not do anything. They stated "Because you signed off on the invoice it's your fault". Please UNDERSTAND their renderings they present to you will not show any detail (just a color and layout), their proposals are completely Chinese to the outside world but if you sign off on these it's on you! I will never go back to this location ever! I highly recommend to only deal with the new location in Ft Lauderdale, 10 min down the street. Very upsetting that this company chose to lose customers that give them over $100,000 a year over something they could not compromise on. read more

I wrote this review on google and here bc I'm so upset. I just had the worst experience with customer service. I needed to buy a few marble windowsills to replace cracked ones in my new house. First, I didn't know where they were in the store. I had already wandered around the marble section for a bit and didn't see them. I asked 2 different men first, where the windowsills were, second if they could help because me I didn't realize they all came in huge 6ft slabs that were very heavy. I'm 6 months pregnant and at this point lifting heavy objects is very difficult for me. Both were extremely dismissive and just pointed to a general area. I specifically asked one person to walk with me and show them to me because I was having trouble finding them. He said he was busy. I said fine if you could radio someone to help me I would really appreciate it. He literally rolled his eyes at me and just pointed where they were again. So fine, I found them on my own but again they are very heavy and I needed help lifting them because after all I'm pregnant and it could be dangerous to lift something that heavy and I could also crack the material if I drop it. I asked that same man again for help, stating I am pregnant and I need help ....he gave me a blank stare and did not move. Finally a woman overheard the conversation and came and helped me. I have to say she was wonderful. But it took 3 people!!!! This is why people shop online now. You go to a store to see things in person and have the ability to ask questions and get some type of customer service and some help. But if you can't even get that, then the convenience of online shopping outweighs the disrespect I got at this location. In the future I will shop online or will go to to a different floor and decor because I was so frustrated. Home Depot also has way better customer service than this! do appreciate the woman helping me though , I guess maybe just the men in the store are completely useless. read more

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with an employee named Alejandro. Due to circumstances beyond my control I slipped on a wet part of the floor where there was no "wet floor" sign and my mask fell into the unidentifiable liquid rendering my mask unsafe and unusable so I kindly asked a staff member if there were any paper masks available for customers due to what had just transpired moments earlier. The female staff member referred me to Alejandro who told me he didn't have any available for me. Before I even had a chance to exit the stores he chased me down and told me I couldn't shop there (which I understood completely) and then proceeded to tell me "it's not my fault you're a broke nigga who can't keep himself and understand how covid19 works" which was completely unnecessary and offensive. This is a terrible representation and reflection of the company and a horrible customer experience for my first time ever visiting this establishment, as someone who works in media and news this is the type of experience that encourages me to report on... hopefully Alejandro can learn from this and improve his costumer service abilities.. read more

Some of the associates here are gems!! I was misinformed on when my laminate would come in and had to choose something in place of it last minute as workers were only at my house for a limited time. I was on the verge of tears due to the miscommunication my hysband and I received for nearly two weeks. That's when we told our story to Junior and another associate (I didn't get his name). Junior really helped me and I could tell he felt my frustration and pain. We were there until closing but he didn't rush us or seem bitter and he and his associate helped us up to our car and were with us until we left. Yoni rung us up and she was just as wonderful at closing time!! I've never received such great customer service, God Bless people like them, don't let them go!! Terrible experience doing business at this location. We picked out tile for our new business facility, all same shades were selected in 4 different tiles to be installed throughout the facility. We asked for them to hold our tile for the complimentary 14 days till we were ready to install. Fourteen days later we call to set up for their third party delivery service to deliver our product. We're sorry but it looks like your order was never pulled and stored in our warehouse for you. So now they don't have enough of the same shade of any of the product we had chosen. Keep in mind our entire facility had been painted, carpet ordered, all to match the tile that had been picked out two weeks earlier. So we were basically stuck trying to match different shades of tile which is a big DON'T TRY IT IDEA. Fortunately, we were able to accomplish this to some degree with 3 out of the 4 tiles we had chosen. But it only takes one to screw up your whole project and it was the one we had chosen for our entry reception lounge area that is approximately 1000 square feet. The match they provided was way off, one being more gray versus the other being more brown. To be honest it looks like a freaking checker board. At not one time has anyone shown any concern for us or offered to try to make this right, including the store manager who only finally comped a delivery charge because they screwed that up 3 times as well. After discovering I still hadn't received all my product the day of install, I had to rent a truck to go pick up the missing thin set myself, that was not delivered with all my previous pallets. They were only 45 50lb bags short, no big deal, are you kidding me. If you shop here, you better stay on top of them every day or you to could be stuck with crap that you paid full price for. read more

Went to purchase several slabs of marble for a countertop. They recommended an installer/fabricator from Imperial Granite and Marble (Glauber). Ive left messages for him 7-8 times over 3 weeks, on his personal cellphone and on his business line. No answer--ever. If hes busy, thats good for him! yeah commerce. Bad for me, i have a kitchen thats not finished. I need a fabricator to tell me how many slabs to purchase for countertop coverage. Its a cart before the horse issue. Without that, I cant continue. The personnel at Floor and Decor just said, we have no control over him, hes independent. Then why are you referring him to clients? Slabs of granite are of no use without an installer/fabricator. Its a 2 step thing. If one part isnt happening, the other (the purchase of raw material), is not going to happen either. why dont they see that they are screwing themselves out of sales? Front of the store is always great. Shipping and receiving is really bad. I recommend all my customers to this store. But as a contractor with no time to lose, I called ahead 30 min and asked to have my order ready to go since the previous day I waited for over an hour and had to leave because it was still bad coordination. AND MY ORDER IS STILL NOT READY! Come on........this is so frustrating. Last time I am ever coming back. Either you get faster employees or shut down your store. Answers a few of my questions and then I come back later with my husband and she's busy with customers and is prompt to page someone to help us with questions. So we wait, and wait...and wait...I finally see one of the employees who's not busy fraternizing with other employees and ask the following question: "Hi, do you know who can help me with Laminate questions?" Only to be be answered: "That's not my area of expertise!" I mean...what an idiot! Did you even make an effort to listen???? So I see another employee sitting behind a counter with his legs up on a desk and I knew, I just knew that I was at a place where employees are lazy, uninterested in you and get annoyed at questions you ask! Tons of other employees walked past us and nobody asked if we needed help. Today we leave Lumber Liquidators in Dania Beach absolutely satisfied and we're given AMAZING customer service!! I agree with the previous review. Great prices, helpful staff, easy location from I-95, large selection. But 6 of the 18 inch tile I bought had hairline cracks that weren't obvious until my contractor used a rubber mallet on them and they cracked. One entire box had the tiniest piece cracked off every tile corner. Receipt says check the tile before you accept it. Really? Whose going to stand there and open box after box of tile. Also, some defects in other tiles. Wouldn't buy there again. You get what you pay for. read more

Just bought laminate here. Should have researched the brand before I bought it as the reviews for Eco Forest are not good at all. Also since it was on clearance I am told after the fact that I am not able to return it. Would have been nice if the cashier had told me this at the time of purchase.
