Terrible service from start to finish. Walked in to pay for some tile I picked out with a couple minor questions. Waited 30 min to be helped. "Carlos was actually good" With 1 simple request. The same lot numbers for the tile in my order. Went to pick it up the next day , scanned the order as it was loaded into my trailer. First full pallet same numbers. Second pallet was covered with mortar bags so couldn't see numbers. I asked the employee to confirm and he said it was 100% the same numbers. I drive 40 minutes back to the house to unwrap. Different numbers. We called to explain that situation and each employee , service member spoken to just argued about how that number doesn't matter etc. they were too busy to prepare 17 boxes. 17... to make us happy and keep the same numbers. On our third try to pick up the remaining 17 they tried to throw in a different pallet again! Finally one manager threw a fit at the employees ignorance and stupidity and gave us the proper boxes. Push a multitude of buttons- placed on hold by a machine, and after a few moments the recording says- we can't take your call, then it hangs up on you...Why have a phone if you don't answer? My husband and I were thrust into a whirlwind of demo and design when we unexpectedly bought a new house and sold our current home. We needed floor tiles and FAST. The PRO, "T", was recommended by our contractor and for VERY good reason! She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to look up various tiles we had chosen, and when they were low stock or unavailable "T" went out of her way to call other stores in the surrounding areas to check their inventory. She is obviously a popular person and was very busy, but still made it a point to return our calls and actually called us back when she said that she would. Ultimately, she found us a beautiful tile and all in the same Dye Lot (which we didn't even think about) from a store in Boca to be shipped directly to our new house. She also assisted me in choosing additional tiles for the Master Bath. I would be a loyal patron of Floor & Decor for life if more people like "T" worked there. She took SO MUCH STRESS AWAY!! Dan was very helpful on a recent visit to Floor & Decor in Port St. Lucie, Florida. In the middle of a full kitchen remodel, it was time to chose a backsplash. Having visited Lowes and Home Depot - and finding nothing of interest - I was off to Floor & Decor. Dan was polite, friendly, and helpful. After spending an hour roaming the store, I had my "picks" down to three. Only needing 54 square feet of tile for the backsplash, I ended up purchasing 60 square feet to be on the safe side. That and the trim molding for a better finish. Although it was pouring rain, Dan helped load my SUV. Six boxes and I was on my way. Huge store and tons of selections. We got the BEST service at Floor and Decor in Tradition from their Designer, Linda Pittman!! We were in a panic to get our floor tiles delivered because our contractor never gave us the square footage for our rooms till the last minute! Install was supposed to be in two days!! It was clear from the start that Linda would solve our problem for us. Not only did she get our tile ordered along with grout and schluters and filler, but she made sure we got the color of tile that would match the best for our floor and shower. We left feeling great, with samples to do paint matching and a schedule for delivery in 2 days! Right on time. She is talented and is a great designer with advice that we trusted. My husband went in yesterday to get everything he needed for a huge bathroom project. He was there for over an hour picking out all of the detailed items. There was a man working who was very helpful and my husband was thankful for that. However, when my husband got to the register to pay, their system was down. They ASSURED him they would hold onto his cart until morning when he could come back, and the system would be back up. He arrived shortly after they opened this morning, and they had put back his ENTIRE cart of supplies. They never called to tell him the system was back up, they never called to tell him they would be putting his stuff back. There was zero communication. Over an hour's worth of work down the drain, and they weren't even the least bit apologetic. That is unacceptable to do to a customer. They should have never done it to begin with, but at least offered some type of help or compensation. We are at a loss as to what to do next. Do NOT trust Floor & Decor. read more

Horrible customer service . They picked the product and loaded in to my SUV. Of course you guess the last box was wrong . Contractor at $600 a day noticed it when he opened the last box . I had to pay for him to come back the next day . Instead of the Mgr extending my return till Nov ( I'm leaving tmw for home) she refused . Would do nothing for me . I ordered tile for our house from the store Gatlin Blvd. to be delivered to our house. Charged us $175 for delivery, man came out & refused to deliver on our rock drive when told prior of no cement driveway. Delivery truck left with our tile now they want to charge $800 for delivery of a flat bed truck. Now we have no way properly have our tile delivered without trying to attempt ourselves. We paid to have our construction man install today & had to Reschedule the whole job. People at this store should have there own delivery service if they are going to sell you tile. Finally decided on a backsplash thanks to the incredible assistance from Pearl Gonzalez....she was so helpful. I brought samples of my cabinets and counter then she helped me to make choices. I brought some samples home then decided. She described how choosing the grout is so important and helped me to match the color. Then she loaded my cart with heavy boxes, helped me find the grout and other necessary supplies, helped me check out then found help for me to load my car. So excited to have my new kitchen. DO NOT GO HERE WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!!!!!!! They sold me discontinued wood flooring without telling me it was discontinued. After I installed it, the wood started curving, I reported it to their claims dept and they never got back to me. I had to fight with them and even after I finally got through to the claims department, they did NOTHING. Disgusting place. Very dissatisfied. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!!!! Staff was friendly, but seemed to be more interested in talking with each other than interacting with the customers. Tile selection was good, but fairly repetitive - a coupe of basic styles with lots of minor variations. And forget about the "free" $25 gift card. They seem to have plenty of excuses NOT to hand them out. If you must go to F&D make the drive down to the West Palm Beach location or better yet find a local specialty store and shop there. read more

I originally posted this on the Riviera Beach store by mistake. I purchased 775 sq. Ft. of tile for a floor installation at the Port St. Lucie location I made sure at the time of purchase that there were enough tiles on hand of the same dye lot and was assured that there was. The tile was picked up the following week by my installer. After the installation was complete there is obvious color difference in a large number of tiles which I have been told is due to a different dye lot. I have contacted Floor and Decor to file a complaint and the response has been extremely slow. They now want me to hire a Certified Floor inspector at my expense to generate a report to determine if this is a manufacturer issue. This is an issue with Floor and Decor providing two different dye lots on my order when I was assured that I would get all tiles from the same lot. Floor and Decor messed up and I feel that no one wants to take responsibility for this error. I would not recommend Floor and Decor die to their poor customer service. I have already reconsidered my purchase of laminate flooring and backsplash and purchased from someone else who I know will back their product and are customer friendly. read more
