From the start Floor Source bent over backwards for us. When we had some difficulties in what we chose (we changed our mind), they helped us correct it the best they could (we still paid for the carpet and will keep it, but they adjusted labor and padding). They scheduled us and kept us updated on installation. On the day of install for the laminate, they sent Tony. He was fast, efficient, and friendly. But the most important part.... he did an immaculate install! The next day the guys came for the carpet (sorry, can't remember the names). They were just as good as Tony! Fast, efficient and did an absolutely amazing job! We still have the left over carpet piece and our son will put it in his house. Already spoke to them and they will be using floor source to get padding and install. Floor Source is going to send a person to their place for measuring. Service ALL THE WAY AROUND! We are having an absolutely terrible experience with this company. After long delays in ordering our carpet, when the installers finally came, they saw that the light-colored carpet had black circular stains on it from the plastic wrapping it came in. The installers alerted us to the issue (after our old carpet was already ripped out) and told us they couldn't install it because of the defect. Then when the manager, Daniel, got involved, he told them to install it anyway and they would re-order the carpet and re-install it. This was obviously inconvenient, but we understood mistakes happen. Once it was installed, however, they refused to reorder new carpet for us, claiming they first had to attempt to clean it. My husband and I both work and we had already rearranged our schedules (not to mention all of the moving of furniture). Again, they refused any other path and sent cleaners out several days later. When the cleaners arrived, we moved all the furniture again, but they suddenly they claimed they couldn't clean it because there was some issue with their equipment. They left, saying they'd be back with it fixed. Again, we rearranged our work schedules. When they returned, they still couldn't get their equipment to work, and they left. We called Floor Source again and explained that we can't keep disrupting our lives for this and begged them to just reorder non-stained carpet. They refused and instead sent the cleaners out days later with no notice or warning. We again moved furniture and tried to balance our jobs, and they finally cleaned the carpet and...the black stains remain. Rather than finally apologize and fix the carpet that we've already paid for, they're now insisting on their "claims process" and various internal standards before they replace it. We are so frustrated and at such a loss since they've taken our money, but haven't performed the promised service. There's plenty of other carpet installers in the area - pick one of them. read more

I was looking to get the same engineered hardwood I had installed in the bedroom of my home some years ago, now in my office. I went to Floor Source & spoke with Veronica Randall. It wasn't a blind search...I provided her with the manufacturer, style name, color, & model #. She took my information...but never heard a word back. Now, yes, this would have been a small order, & no labor profit as I am installing myself...but as someone who has worked on her side of the desk in the home improvement industry, a call back informing me that it was no longer available would have been in order. Had she done that, I may have returned & purchased another option as I actually did see a few samples there that were reasonably similar to what I was looking for. I honestly can't know for sure why there was no follow up, it is simply a guess that from Floor Source's perspective, my small order, was not of much interest. However, what a retail contractor never knows is that a one room just product order could turn into a whole house with labor order, or a large referral order, etc. That very same day, I drove one block South to another flooring store, one that did follow through to find that the wood I wanted was not available, & treated me no different than if I was looking to do my entire home, labor included. He graciously helped me find an alternative option that met the needs I had, ordered in additional samples for me, his correspondence in the process of my decision making was timely, & he gladly provided all the info I should know for my project. That is where I bought my wood. A world of difference from the lack of interest I received from Floor Source. I gave Floor Source 3 stars not because they deserved the extra stars, but because it seemed unfair to rate them with only 1 star from a limited experience. read more

Once contacting Costco, the friendliest salesperson in the world, Jarod Alexander, contacted me from Floor Source. Jarod came to the house and patiently worked with me while taking measurements, reviewing the several flooring options, making a final selection, discussing the install timing and schedule, reviewing all promotional items and making sure all my questions were answered. Jarod was TRULY PERFECT in providing customer service to me, especially for my first-time floor install. Within two weeks after the sale was made, the Floor Source office contacted me when the flooring materials were delivered to schedule the install which was estimated to take 5 days. Luis and Luis performed the install. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! These gentlemen arrived smiling and were timely, friendly, collaborative with the install and overall just wonderful. The new floors were installed within 4.5 days, shorter than the original estimate, and look phenomenal - base boards and all! The house is now gorgeous and has a whole new energy. I decided to get new flooring in my 2 bedrooms and adjoining closets. I went to the Floor Source showroom in Scottsdale and chose several excellent laminate options. Joe, the salesman, then made a trip to my place to compare and contrast these options to my existing tile floors. My favorite laminate was chosen, a reasonable price was agreed upon, measurements were taken, and the order was placed.
