Repairs required lacing in new flooring for several holes that were cut previously to install foundation support and several areas of buckled flooring. The joinery to lace in the new pieces to the existing floor is so perfect that the joints defy identifying where new meets old. They worked quickly and efficiently for about 2 days, exactly on time as agreed. They removed all the debris and vacuumed all areas when done. The cost was considerable, but for the skill and quality of the work, and professionally meeting high expectations, the value received was worth every penny. David Youngblood was excellent in communicating with us and explaining as needed. If we ever need any such future work Youngblood's will be who we call.

We scheduled for the following day, and the guy that came out was over 30 minutes late, which made me run late for my work meeting. They advertise granite starting at $35/square foot with install and materials, which would have meant my countertops should have been around $3,150.00, but they ended up quoting me over $7,000.00! I told them I just needed something basic as we were planning on selling the house. I asked what happened with the drastic price difference, and they sent me pictures of the granite they had for $35/square foot, which were hideous and would clash with our island. I told them so, and they never responded with any alternative. Also, I'm not fond of doing everything by text if I'm spending $7,000.00. I guess I'll be using a different company.

The first time we talked on the phone, and before I asked for an estimate, Scott answered a long list of questions I had. He helped me understand everything I had been puzzling over. And he continued to advise me after we had placed the deposit, and all the way through the project. The person who came by to measure went over the measurements twice with me and helped me understand my final choices for edging and backsplash. Whoever planned the layout from our slab, made a beautiful artistic choice -- centering some of the subtle vein work in the slab to fall between the two sinks. Guys doing the install-- terrific work. Fred (owner) is a truthful and honorable man. He was always professional. Nearly all of his team is great. They are courteous, competent, and can be counted on. We had a few minor issues along the way and Fred and team solved them. With one glaring exception-shower glass. He used a subcontractor for this and they were awful. They randomly showed up unannounced and then didn't show when scheduled. When they did, they were more interested in saying how good and competent they were. Usually they were surly and talked more about their experience than doing the work. Well, they were here 4 times before they got it right! And the fourth time it took Fred working side by side them to solve the issues. Because of them, I can only give 4 starts. To Fred's credit, he did not tell us the name of the glass firm and he took full responsibility for them. I recommend Kingdom and would use them again. Just insist on a different glass vendor.
