I used to be a great fan of Floors and More some 12 years ago. Their sales person Akbar was fantastic. We recently moved to new home and found that Akbar has retired but Kamran (senior management) was going to come out and give us an estimate. We needed a backsplash, some minor kitchen remodeling, new carpets, and a potential larger renovation to our living room built-ins. He gave us a verbal estimate of the backsplash and said he'd get back to us very soon on the other estimates. We never heard from him again. We had to call him to get updates and he then told us that their tile installer couldn't be found and they couldn't install - and oh btw the new price was higher than what he quoted us verbally (higher than anyone else who gave us an estimate). No estimate for carpets or the other work ever came. He wasted so much of our time waiting. They honestly don't care anything about their customers like they used to. At least it feels like that. read more

Originally stopped in to get some quotes, they didn't notice me as I was looking at samples, then eventually a woman acknowledged me, I wanted some remnants for my own projects and a quote for an entire kitchen, she proceeded to explain to me that I can't do things myself... (she has no knowledge of my work history, she judged me) the conversation got worse and never touched on the quote topic. Needless to say I'll be spending my money elsewhere. We have been buying from this company for 30 years but their service and product quality have decreased. We paid $9800 for hardwood floors that are not the same as their sample- much darker and with scuff marks . Since the installation the floors squeak ( no previous problem) I and there is a cracked board. The General Manager came out once and fixed a couple places but he is no longer with the company . The owner says that he will do nothing and was very demeaning. He acted like I was just a stupid woman and beneath his time and effort. These floors were just installed in late August. read more

Just a warning here. We had Floors and More install new countertops and back splash. The work was done well and we have no complaints. The problem is our contract says they will provide a grate for our sink. It has been about six months now and they will not make good on the contract. First it was Covid that had them back ordered, then it was the manufacturer won't ship them with the sink orders because it could be damaged so they were going to send somebody to pick it up, then it was we will check on it and get back to you, now we just get passed back and forth from Akbar to Brian with no resolution. So the warning, with these guys do not make payment in full unless they have satisfied the written contract, otherwise you will never get what you are owed. read more

Contracted with Floors and More Design on Winchester to install new Granite counter tips in kitchen. Dealing with the sales staff was pleasant and guided us thru the whole process. Unfortunately, the installation was quite the opposite. We gave written and identical verbal instructions to the sales staff and installers. The installation was disastrous. No offer to fix the issues that were blaring. The installation wasn't a difficult job, just incompetence took over. Need more granite in other areas and will seek services from someone that can install properly. read more

They carry wide range of carpets and do almost everything in flooring/cabinets/carpets. The owner of the store Mr. Kamran is very hospitable and customer oriented but Akbar is the one, you will have to careful about. We spend almost 12K to get hardwood floor and granite countertop installed, but the whole ordeal was a nightmare in terms of Money to go through with this Akbar. Highly un-professional and very story telling personality. Stay away from him and you should be good as the installers were highly professional and courteous. Stay away from Akbar!! read more

This is a professional team with a capital "P" - which could also stand for Perfect! I have quite a bit of experience with tradespeople. I went to Floors & More for granite for my kitchen. Debbie was very helpful in showing me the granite selections based on the colors of my cabinets and wood flooring. She allowed me to spend lots of time with the granite slabs; taking cabinets samples out to look at with it. I appreciated her time very much. read more

After about 3 weeks of putting down a large deposit for our counter top ($1500, we owe the remainder of $500 once it is installed!), they have yet to even set up an appointment. When we put the deposit down, Akbar assured us our granite was in stock and and appointment would be set up the following week. The following week passed, and we received no phone call so we took it upon ourselves to call. The woman who answered the phone took down a message from Akbar who was not available. A few days passed, and we still have not heard from him, so we called back. The woman asked to leave another message with Akbar, so my husband does. A few days later, my husband calls back and demands to talk with Akbar, and the woman asks to leave yet ANOTHER message with him, to which my husband declines and says he wants to talk with him in person because he was failing to respond to the messages. He informs my husband at that time (2 weeks later)that the granite in stock was sold to another customer prior to us purchasing it, and our granite would be in the following day, and asked him to call back the next day to set up an appointment. The next day comes and my husband calls, the granite is not yet in, and he even calls the company on speaker phone so we can hear him say that the granite will be in a few days later on that friday. Akbar assures us that he will call us when it comes in that friday. Friday comes, and no call. My husband calls Saturday, and he says the granite came in and they will be here sometime this week (a whole 3 weeks later!) He would not set up an appointment with us, and just said someone would install this week. I have a feeling friday will roll around and our granite will still not even be installed. And that is not the issue, we just want a date that our granite will be installed. We, as the customers, should always know what was going on, and it seems that the only way we were finding anything out was by contacting them our self. Akbar's customer service thus far has been terrible. The woman on the phone, and in the store that showed us the granite in the first place, were both very amazing! Akbar has failed to give us the appropriate customer service, and even had a rude tone with my husband. We are both going to school for business and know this is unacceptable. We were discussing our issues with friends a few days ago, and they have heard similar complaints to ours. I have heard their counter top work is amazing, but their flooring and customer service are not that great. Although they do compare prices to Lowes, and even will give you a cheaper price, I would go with Lowes and get better service, and better results. Lowes did our carpet in our basement and were amazing, just expensive which is why we chose floors and more. I will most definitely go through Lowes here on out and pay more for better service!!! (not saying you should go to Lowes, just do NOT go through Floors and More... Unprofessional, to say the least!) ***UPDATE: They finally came out to install the granite. They did a fabulous job, and it looks wonderful! I give the installers 5 stars for a wonderful job, but I still will not go through them again because of the hassle. If you do not mind waiting weeks to get an appointment, and them calling you the day before they are coming, then they are good for you. Be careful! Bought high end carpet with 8 lb padding. After install, I noticed carpet felt hard to the ground, not spongey. After 4 calls to owner over my concern, I ripped up my carpet and had my padding analyzed. Sure enough, they installed cheap, commercial grade padding. They have had to come out and re-do my house. My neighbors install the following week was about to be done with the wrong (cheaper) grade padding also...coincidence?? I would not recommend nor would I trust them!! read more

I came in on Saturday needing flooring for a rental property on Monday. Sam came to my house and measured and showed me what was in stock. Try getting customer service like that from one of the chain stores. They installed hardwood, vinyl and carpet the next week for a great price. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them to anyone. read more

A fridge leak led us to redoing our hardwood and tile. After shopping many local stores including the big box stores, Floors and More was a clear winner, not only in price, but also selection and knowledgeable employees. Both Akbar and Corkey were great to work with, gave us space to make decisions, and knew their product when questions had to be asked. We had two teams do work in our house. One for the tile and one for the hardwood. Both were exceptional. The tile work is amazing, I am really impressed with the care taken in the placing of each tile. Similarly impressive is the hardwood. Several areas transition seamlessly, including with the new tile. Both teams were professional, on time, and all the work done in a very timely manner. Making a decision of whom to choose to do a major renovation to your house is a big choice, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Floors and More to anyone. Daniel S. read more

I am in construction so I know excellent vendors and contractors when I see them. My wife and I had them put new carpet and granite counters in our personal residence and I could not be happier. The pricing was very fair...comparable to the box stores...and the communication and coordination were perfect. I have used Floors and More in the past for Granite, and everyone complimented me on my granite job. The seams were so hard to find. So when it was time to really overhaul the kitchen, there was only one company to call. This time I went with a Quarts Counter tops, subway tile, and glass tiles for the back splash. The Quartz I picked was very unique, looks like granite but is maintenance free. Their installer was very professional and did another amazing job. Akbar was kind and as dedicated to customer service as always. Debbie, who works in the front was also very helpful and sweet. I have always recommended them to my clients and will continue to do so! Floors and More in Winchester was contracted to purchase and install roughly 260 sq ft. of engineered hardwoods to our rec. room. It has now been three weeks and the job is not done. The lack of communication and professionalism is not the only problem with this company. The install took extra time, which we are understanding of but it was a bad job. There are gaps all along the wood, which is supposed to be a lock in type. One top of the entire floor is dried glue marks. It looks terrible and we've spent the last two weeks trying to get the company to come back and fix it. There is always some excuse given by Akbar as to why its not done yet. They don't have the right product, or no one is available, or "what do you mean, its already been done". Three weeks now and the single room we paid to have re-floored is still not completed. I will never suggest nor work with this company again. Good luck to those who do. Don't let their kind sales team lure you in, they can not execute the job. At this point we've love for the job to be completed, but given that it's been three weeks we can no longer hope for that. The dried glue has been sitting on our brand new floors for three weeks and unless it looks perfect I refuse to pay full price for the crappy job that they've done. My hope at this point is that they can learn from their mistakes and not ruin someone else's floors. read more

I highly recommend Floors and More of Winchester for all you home renovations. Sasan (the owners brother) was the salesman that guided my wife and I through the selection process for granite countertops, tile back-splatter, laminate flooring for our kitchen and entry hallway and hardwood flooring for our dining and living rooms. Basically this is was a one-stop-shop for us. As such this made the entire process easy, uncomplicated and quick for installation. Initially I was a bit skeptical about using one source for the entire project; my concerns being on quality of work. This was definitely not the case. Each task was completed by outsourced artisans that only specialize in their respective fields. I was particularly astounded by the attention to detail by each of the installers. I have yet to find any flawed work with the granite, tile, laminate or hardwood. Additionally the entire staff from the salesman to receptionist and follow-up calls from both Sasan and Akbar was nothing short of courteous, timely and of genuine customer respect and support. Mr. Kamran Heydari was very unprofessional. I went to his company back in 2010 to remodel my home and replace my roof . A year later I was told the new roof was put down wrong and over Rotten plywood, which mean the roof needs to be replace . I was not aware of this because I was unable to inspect the the work his mexican crew was doing.. I went to Mr. Kamran Heydari when I first notice the shingles on my supposedly new roof was coming up. he claimed it was an act of god and I should had inspected the work before I paid them. I explain to Mr. Heydari I was disabled and could not climb a ladder to inspect anything . I am also a widow who at the time was living by myself... I also had Mr. Kamran Heydari company floors and more design do remodel work in my home which most of that work had to be replace or redone.do not go to this company for anything they may be reasonable on their price but not so reasonable of you have to spend more money as I did to redo their work. read more

I stopped by just to look and the sales people were very knowledgeable and encouraged me to bring my cabinet samples in to compare with my selection. I recently walked into the store to discuss a bathroom flooring and remodel project. No one greeted me when I walked in. I spent ten minutes or so walking around the showroom, noticing several empty sales desks. There were two men in the back of the store behind a counter. When I approached, one disappeared into a back area and the other got on the phone and proceeded to have a long conversation. At no time was I greeted or otherwise acknowledged. I waited near the counter area for a while but the man on the phone showed no signs of ending the conversation (hard to tell for sure since he was speaking in a foreign language). Finally I walked out. If this is how they handle customer service I have no interest in doing business with them. read more

A few years ago, my husband and I remodeled our home. We wanted to install hardwood floors throughout our house. We looked at many places and decided on Floors and More. It was a very big mistake. We wanted very hard wood and expressed this many times. They assured us the wood we picked was durable and it has not held up against our dog's nails. Before our warranty was set to expire, we had to have them come over and fill several spaces in our home where the floors had pulled apart. We understand that some settling will occur however this was in multiple places throughout the home. Now, four years later, the wood is warping and there are numerous gaps between the boards. We take good care of our home, do not smoke, and care for our floors. If you want quality workmanship, pay the little bit extra from a more reputable place instead of taking a "good deal" from them. It turns out horribly in the end. read more

SO FRUSTRATING!!! I had them install carpet twice in the past 3 years, all upstair bedrooms and hallway. When they came back for the 2nd installation I showed them the carpet from the first time and how it had bunched up. They "fixed" it for me without any fuss, although I was working with the installers right there on the spot. For the past 6 months I have been tripping over bunched up carpet in numerous rooms. I placed a phone call and talked to Akbar who informed me that they had no record of me purchasing because the store I purchased from was no longer there and they don't have computer records. He said that if I could prove that they did the work then they would send a team to come and fix the carpet. I found my very first invoice. Akbar said that he would send someone to do only the rooms that were on that invoice because I couldn't prove that they had done the other rooms even though it is the exact same carpet with the exact same shotty work! Fine, I tracked down the credit card statement, covered up any important info and faxed it to them. Akbar has yet to be back in touch with me but I have talked to the person who answers phone on a daily basis as I have been calling for the past two weeks trying to get someone to come out and fix the carpet. I just called the store right now because it is 4:00pm and I called this morning and was told that I would receive a call today and I haven't. SO, I called and left a message for Kamran and we will see if he calls me back tomorrow. I am ready to take pictures of the carpet and post them all over the internet to make sure no one does business with them anymore if this doesn't get fixed!!!! read more
