Floors for Living did a wonderful job on my downstairs flooring. Mike Moody is great to work with and I highly recommend him.

I just want to start by saying the sales part of this process was great dealing with Mike Moody. The install was a different story though. I was out of town for this install and when I came home I was very disappointed. We had tile installed throughout the house and there was mortar all over the walls and baseboards and it was very obvious there was no attempt to clean up after themselves. There was also several tile cuts, broken plastic pieces, and large chunks of mortar left in my yard. Luckily my yard guy was kind enough to point it out and clean up after the installers. At first I found the living room/ kitchen Vinyl flooring install satisfactory but as time went on I started noticing imperfections. I noticed the owner and after some time they sent a crew to repair the flooring. I had moisture under the flooring. I should have had a plastic barrier installed and there wasn't. I asked to have this corrected but they did not comply. Now almost 3 years later I have to have it all replaced. This was an expensive lessons learned. I do not recommend this company. read more

We are extremely pleased to with our experience with floors for living!! We had 700 sq ft of tile to remove and install vinyl plank. The crew were professional and took great care of our home and belongings. All throughout the process, Jim in Lake Jackson was easy to work with and was available to answer any questions we had. As for the cost, it was SIGNIFICANTLY less than the cost that Lowe's quoted for us... at least 30% less, which is a lot of money when you're dealing with a job this big!! Unfortunately, we had a major issue from their supplier (wrong product/color was sent) and Mike was in good communication with us the entire process. They ended up ultimately having to remove and replace it and , in the end, we were very happy with the final product. Would not hesitate to use them again. I already had two rooms done by Floors For Living in Lake Jackson and they did such a great job, we called them back to do the Master Bedroom. It went really well. The Sales process is very easy and Mike from the Lake Jackson office came by to do the laser measuring. The install crew (two guys from Russia) were awesome. They moved all the furniture and even had to remove all from the room to level the room. Their plaster work was really good. They were very accommodating to my wife's furniture moving requests. All in all, it was another great job by the Lake Jackson store. Mike already measured our patio and they have some outdoor tile that will look very good on the patio. Great guys to do business with. It's been a year are so since we got our floors installed. They are still perfect to this day! The guys came into our home, took care of furniture and everything. Put the floors down and did tile work. First class at all times. The entire home looks different! I would highly recommend!!! I was more than satisfied with my end result. There were some issues with the initial work crew, but after calling to express our concerns, the issues were addressed by sending out a different crew.
