It's huge. Books for days. These are used books, and many are in great shape, and priced accordingly. This isn't the cheapest used bookstore I've come across, but I think it's the most extensive. I wasn't looking for anything specific so didn't ask for anything. But I spent time in the cookbook and travel book sections. Huge. So many to choose from. Many decades of choices, including recent, especially important in the travel book section. I found the pricing a little higher than I expected, but I picked up some books anyway. Used bookstores keep books relevant and out of landfills both. Gotta love that.

Either the bar code doesn't work or the wrong items were listed for a pick up in the lumber yard forcing another trip inside to change the receipt as in take the wrong off and put the right items on and then back to the yard with a corrected receipt and when you get the credit card bill the return of the wrong products isn't credited. Too bad that the entire staff changes often and I don't recognize any of the clerks as neighbors anymore. Yesterday I purchased a quart of Bondo and when I arrived home and opened it there was barely a pint but the charge was for a quart so I bought the same product for a bit less online and I got at least 3/4 of a quart. I have decided that using this store takes up to much of my time compared to the other hardware store in town which truly is get in and get out. Again missing the days of Bob and John and can only hope that the new management pulls the team together and I will try again in about 6 months.

They smell great like candles and are purposeful. You can find all sorts of soaps for different skin conditions. My fav so far are bluebar with tea tree and peppermint and charcoal pumice. Soaps are sold by weight here so I bought a little bit of different kinds to figure out what I like. + Service is super friendly and helpful! + Price is fantastic. Most soaps are sold by $/lb. I placed Order #519728 on August 21, 2020 and my credit card was charged August 22. A month later I…read morehadn't received the shipment, so I logged in to find my order was still in "processing" status. I checked my email and noticed that I had never received the automated "Your Order Shipped" alert that Vermont Soap usually sends upon shipping an order. I inquired with Vermont Soap. On September 21, they claimed that the USPS had an issue with my address -- the address saved on my Vermont Soap account, used for 10 successful orders since August 12, 2014 -- and the shipment had been returned to them September 11. By that point, they had known for 10 days. They had never notified me. In Vermont Soap's replies to my emails, I got their apologies for the issues from the UPS and USPS. I got apologies for confusion and misinformation. I never got apologies for the fact that nobody reached out to tell me, despite knowing my order hadn't been fulfilled for a month after taking my money. When I asked what was going on with my order, I was told that a refund request was submitted by Vermont Soap. I never saw evidence of a refund, so I had to file a complaint through my credit card company instead. I got a weak explanation that my address on record was the culprit. I never got assurance that future orders I placed would be delivered. I enjoyed Vermont Soap products for six years. They were fine products. But a week of unacceptable customer service washed away years of trust. I must say, I've been delighted by just how many competitors are available today. I had feared that it'd be difficult to find a worthy replacement, but the only difficulty was choosing from dozens of new players in the organic skincare industry.
