She patiently listened to me and took impeccable notes as I showed her printouts from Pinterest of what I wanted for my wedding flowers. Between gorgeous lantern centerpieces, to our bouquets, to flower girl crowns, to floral ceremony accents, to individual stems for my bridesmaids' hair - she delivered and then some! I went to the shop in Point Pleasant today. I'm not sure if it was Melinda but the woman who helped was was excellent. I just wanted a couple of flowers to put in my own shallow vase at home. I picked out two hydrangeas and one pale pink rose. They look absolutely gorgeous in my home but I thought the price of $15.99 for basically 3 flowers was a bit pricey. This does not mean I won't be going back because I absolutely will. The shop was gorgeous! read more

Melinda did our wedding flowers. Of course our bouquets/flower girl crowns/etc were all absolutely gorgeous. You can tell she is a great florist from her photos, but when our outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors due to crazy wind (never anticipated that! Rain we'd be covered, but wind? We had no plan). I was too busy getting ready to weigh in on the changes and let her take control. Well...Melinda made our indoor ceremony absolutely magical. She had painstakingly arranged flowers around the window tops, on the windowsills, & adorned the makeshift rows of chairs beautifully. I know she went out of her way to make what could have been a disaster be even more intimate than it would have been outside. My ceremony was nothing like what I imagined, it was more beautiful. Thank God Melinda isn't only a great florist, she is a fantastic vendor. Melinda, if you're reading this, Mark and I couldn't have been more delighted. Melinda just did my wedding flowers and they were GORGEOUS! I knew I wanted shades of pink instead of the typical blush and white. She and her team brought my vision to life. I was floored with how beautiful they turned out, and how unique they looked. The shape of the bouquets and the centerpieces were perfect - they were big and luscious with the perfect amount of whimsy and traditional beauty. She accommodated my every request - to use white anemones, to place individual flowers in tiny vintage vases. The placement of every flower and the contrast among the different shapes and sizes was perfect. She used renunculous which I love, and even traditional roses without it looking boring because of the other flowers she used. She used the perfect ratio of lightest pink, to medium, to darker magenta. I was so obsessed I took them home and covered my house with them. We discussed all the little details down to the color of the vases. She even made a kick ass flower frame that was hung on the wall where we got married.
