We hadn't even gotten our drinks yet. *Why was I being handed food first, standing, versus receiving my drink and then served food while seated at our table?* I wandered to find a table, and found myself weaving through a bunch of people. It was awkward since all the tables/chairs are spaced SO close together. My husband stayed at the front for our lattes, as I started to eat alone. :( We loved the food, but we felt unhappy about the fracas and chaos. This is NOT the way to run a restaurant. We sat and enjoyed our lattes, and the eclectic ambiance. Finally another 12 to 15 minutes later, my husband's biscuits and gravy arrived. I am a slow eater, and I was already done eating, when he began to eat. :( Sad to say, our experience was extremely disappointing. Totally disjointed, and it left us feeling frustrated and irritated. This shouldn't need to be said, but you guys need to serve people in the order they come in. Get those tickets done asap, and it'll clear up your insane bottleneck you create by serving the "easiest" drinks and meals first. Yummy food, but NOT a good dining experience. Also, there are some funny reviews whining about feeling uncomfortable that this place is anti-ICE. Pro-lgbtq. "Oh the horror" to be inclusive, and tolerant of other people! I just know what you would've been balking about in the 1950's... Clyde Coffee is said to be a "liberal" coffee shop, but if you think about it, this is simply human decency... Treat others with basic kindness, and you won't feel such guilt. :)

I wish I had taken pictures of the drinks we ordered but my Lotus was delicious! Their prices are veryS reasonable for being in a very rural, area right off the highway. Access to them is very easy and if you see the big, red barn then you are in the right place. They are located about 30 feet to the right of the barn. They were not like Midwestern style cheese curds, but they were very yummy with bacon and hot honey. The cottage pie had a nice flavor although a bit dry. We asked for a side of the poutine gravy and that did the trick. I'd never heard of a pickle chicken sandwich. Yes it sounds weird. See pic for menu description. It had very moist chicken, but I did not get a ton of flavor. After I added a side more of the chipotle sauce it was more tasty. The shoestring fries were nicely seasoned.
