Oh, I do love a good Coffee Stout and this one was no exception to that rule in the slightest. Flavors to look for with this stout are of course Coffee, Chocolate and a nice sweetness to it. With Papa Murphys you're usually dealing with a pretty consistent product. It's a healthier version of quick pizza you bake yourself, right? So my single star is for poor customer service. Sometimes businesses make really amateurish moves in regards to their customer service, and should be called out for it. This evening I placed an online order for two pizzas. My wife was going to pick them up on her way home while I took our dogs walking. She wasn't informed as to the quantity of pie she was couriering. Papa Murph's in Russel Plaza only gave her one pizza. No biggie. I called the store, the manager answered and I explained the mishap. He said "sorry, we'll fix you another one", but there was a bit of a "sure, I bet she didn't get both pizzas, guy" tone to the conversation. I headed down to the store. Part of me was writing this review on the way, but I was waiting to see the managerial response offered after a second ten minute jaunt to the store. My son and I headed into the store. The usual "we didn't order ahead" greenhorns were waiting in the store for their impulse pizzas and we went up to the counter to finish the transaction. I told the kid behind the counter my name and the manager piped up and directed him to the make-up pizza. Kid said, "oh that's over here" and went to a different rack and grabbed our pizza. Vilified in this public revelation that the second trip was indeed the store's fault, I turned to the manager, and politely asked if he'd like me to take the extra pizza. He politely informed me that they'd save it for another order later in the evening. And that's how you get a polite single star rating on your yelp! page.
