There ARE still good people in this world…read more.. This evening as my kids and I were riding home, I hear knocking from under the car that didn't sound normal. I pulled over to the Auto Zone in Casa Grande and waited patiently in line praying one of the two workers there could help get the car together so we could get home. One was a GM, young lady maybe my age or younger and the other, a kid maybe late teens. The GM lets me know she will be right with me and I say "Okay" not wanting to look obvious that something was wrong, I smiled. The GM comes back and says "How can I help?" In desperation I say "I'm not from here, I just need to get something to hold my muffler in place so I can get my kids and myself home." She says "I am a mom myself. I think we have something. Let me take a look." She proceeds to check out the muffler and as we were doing that, she notices one of my license plate lights were out and she let me know. (Because why not just add more stuff wrong that needs an immediate fix!‍) I say "I hope someone can help me because I have no idea what I am doing. I called my dad in Cali like he would be able to help." She says "Don't worry about it, I can help you." PRAISE HIM! We then go to the aisle where the muffler clips were and she took her time to check out for the best one to make sure we were safe. She took the piece and went to my muffler (while I held the light) to make sure it would work and was secure! GOD SENT! One problem I thanked her so much and asked if she could also do the power steering fluid as I noticed some groaning on turns. She said sure and wrote my license plate # down. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you must, but I asked what was that for and she let me know she could look up my car by license plate # with their new system. I said thats pretty cool! She grabbed the license plate light bulbs and the power steering fluid and we went outside to put those two in. After we finished the fluid, I grabbed the bottles and proceeded to follow her in to pay. She turns around and says, "This is on me. You get you and your babies home safely." "I said really?! I wanna cry!" And I began to get teary-eyed... because anyone who really knows me knows I am a cry baby! She says, "Don't cry. Just get home safe" and she proceeds to walk in the store as I am still standing there in awe and disbelief that something good happened to me out of this not-so-good situation. Jen, GM at the Auto Zone in Casa Grande...Bless you and your beautiful soul. I am forever grateful I was led into your store this evening and blessed with your kindness and compassion. You went above and beyond for us and to you, it may have been you just doing your job and being yourself. But for me, a single mom of two knucklehead teenagers, working two jobs and at her wits end and damn near breaking point, this was a blessing in disguise and I had to share with the world that there ARE still wonderful people in this world and you are definitely one of them that's for sure! I didn't mind cause he said he changed all the gasket and seals but then I took a different car that I recently bought from auction and I paid 2400 and the car wouldn't even start after I got home and top of that the rear bumper came off on my way home when I picked it up.

I pop in at 8am for an oil change. I came the day before for one but unfortunately the wait was 2…read morehours, so I decided to come the next day. I was already told I had to buy my own oil filter which to me was INSANE. I was then told after 2 hours of waiting (mind u there were only 2 cars in front of me) that the EVAC machine didn't work and they would be unable to complete the oil change. So why have me sit for 2 hours for absolutely NOTHING. I couldn't believe it! The team lead Sergio didn't know what to do so he called his manager who offered a $25 gift card. HUH? The oil filter from Auto Zone was $13.00 to essentially WHAT ARE YOU GIVING ME? This process is terrible and a joke.
